Manny Fernandez vs Wahoo McDaniel - AWA strap match
after hearing about it in the 83 weeks podcast I had to go and see it myself. a seriously bloody one, apparently both men drank heavily before the match to get that much colour. add in lawler pulling some backstage antics and you had two guys taking frustrations out on one another.

Demolition vs Hart Foundation @ Summerslam 1988 Hart Foundation vs Demolition @ Summerslam 1990 great stuff...... The Harts SSlam trilogy-Tag wrestling at it's best Definitely, Bret seemed to be at his best at Summer Slam. He had these three great tag matches (the two you mentioned above and the one vs. the Brain Busters in 1989) and he had two of the greatest singles matches in Summer Slam history, vs. Mr. Perfect in 1991 and vs. Bulldog in 1992. He also had a great match vs. Owen in 1994 and vs. Undertaker in 1997.

Speaking of Bret and Bulldog they also had a really good match in 1995 at an In Your House Event. This time Bulldog was full on heel for it.

Just finished watching No Mercy 2005 & Raw Homecoming, loved seeing Austin stun all 4 McMahons! Watching Smackdown in 2005 lately has made me remember why younger me absolutely loved Mr Kennedy, he was brilliant as a character and not bad in the ring. His segments have been cracking me up, just so refreshing after spending the last two months watching the whole Rey/Eddie/Dominic storyline.

Yeah, WWF made a mistake naming Edge Mr. Summer Slam. Speaking of Bret and Bulldog they also had a really good match in 1995 at an In Your House Event. This time Bulldog was full on heel for it.
Yep, Davey work well with smaller guys; Bret, Shawn, Owen, etc.

I watched a young Scott Steiner job to Ronnie Garvin. Right down to Garvin sitting on his chest for the 3 count.

Last night I watched Hulk Hogan vs Don Muraco Cage Match from 6/21/1985. This was an interesting match to watch. Both Hogan and Muraco got busted open which was kinda rare for 80’s WWF.

Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker from Royal Rumble 1998. Their 97/98 feud is one of my all time favourites and I still believe this is the best casket match of all time.

I often watch Ground Zero, Bad Blood & RR98 matches back to back. HBK had some very compelling matches in this period....work wise he was on fire as he made it his life's work to outshine Bret Hart. Also its comfortably the best casket match of all time especially when you consider who his opposition was in the rest...LOL. That bump makes me wince.....its knowing the damage that it done.
