Perfect vs Tito for the vacant IC belt. Very good TV match here. Still weird how Perfect holds up a tag belt post match Still laugh at Jesse's line when Tito rams Perfects leg into the post'' Perfect is trying to make it a wrestling match and Chico's turning it into a Tijuana brawl!'' These two worked well together. Their match at SNME before Summer Slam 1990 was tremendous. Perfect was in top form at this point. Probably the most talented wrestler in the company. He was great at selling for the babyface yet still coming out the winner. Agreed... fantastic seller.

After listening to JRs podcast about Foley's 96 and their talk in glowing terms? I was compelled to revisit Mankind vs UT @ KOTR96.
My god...it really is a stiff & brilliant brawl.

I just watched Starrcade '93, and that Flair-Vader match brought back some good memories. Love the story told in this match. Flair overcoming the monster to win the gold in his hometown was great stuff It was pretty close to perfect, and in retrospect, it was the end of an era in so many ways. Flair had a cool babyface run as champ, but when Hogan arrived in '94, both Vader and Flair were knocked from main event status. Vader's feud with Hulk never really got resolved, then Vader went to the WWF where he was misused. Flair got retired by Hulk, came back, and even though he had a couple of more title reigns, he spent the rest of the 90s in the shadows of Hogan, The NWO, and Goldberg. Starrcade '93 was also the last Starrcade with any vestige of the NWA style for WCW. Starrcade '94 was decidedly the WWF redux era with Hogan vs Butcher as the main event, and the card being dominated by ex-WWF talents.

Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff & Butch Reed vs. Islanders & Luis Rivera - Odd pairings, but decent enough for what it was.
Also got the Body Slam Blu-Ray for some extra Tama or Tonga Tom in action. Cheesy 80s movie, but enjoyable for a wrestling fan.

I’ve decided to make my way through the DIY NXT story. I watched their CWC match, their two matches with The Revival, and their match with AOP so far. How I think the rest of the order will go:
Vs Revial and AOP Orlando Vs AOP Chicago Gargano vs Almas Philly Gargano vs Almas NXT after Philly New Orleans Chicago Ciampa vs Black NXT tv Brooklyn Vs Undisputed Era Vs Black and Ricochet Vs Mustache Mountain Ciampa vs Adam Cole The Final Encounter

That DIY story is definitely a worthwhile journey. For sure. Watched AOP vs Revival vs DIY for the first time today. Was supposed to be at the event but sold the ticket on this site actually day of because my bank account was hacked in Florida so I had no funds to finished out Mania weekend. I was so pissed that I never watched the event. Holy hell it’s such a good match. AOP don’t nearly get enough love for their short NXT run which was wildly good.

Hulk Hogan vs. Shawn Michaels - SummerSlam ‘05 - People have complained a bit about Shawn’s antics in this match, but I find them a bit overblown. The only egregious thing I found was the sell on the big boot near the end. All in all Shawn made the best of it and I liked the match quite a bit for what it was.
