Shawn v Bret Survivor Series 97. No explanation needed.
Another gem I’d completely forgotten about from this event was Kane v Mankind. Kane was booked so strongly around this time and Mankind sold him so well!

The Rock vs HHH Raw 99. I quit match where Chyna turns heel.
Great match with high drama & nobody seen the Chyna turn coming. Cracking
Ric Flair vs The Patriot from the 1995 US title tourney.
Fun match that I had no idea about.

Fun match that I had no idea about. I just watched Rock/Triple H - Iron Man Match from Judgement Day 2000. These two were ridiculously good in the ring together, every match I've watched from the two have been a banger. I know he gets a lot of hate for his 2000 McMahon/Helmsley run, but every PPV match he had in 2000 was fantastic and he should get credit for that!

Backlash 2000 is the high point for me...outstanding action, drama & an effin white hot crowd

Watching Mike Rotunda vs. Rick Steiner from Chi-Town Rumble 1989. Holy crap! Jim Ross might be setting the record for most amateur background references and irrelevant football tie-ins.

Again… trying to enjoy the main event: Steamboat vs. Flair. JR just went on a tangent about Flair’s dad being a physician in Minneapolis. WTF does that have to do with anything?!?
Jim Ross ruined so many great matches for me

Just watched the first disc of the "Prelude to the Attitude Era" DVD. Some nice matches so far.
Razor Ramon vs Goldust - Royal Rumble 1996. Nice match. Nothing too great. Best part of the match was Mr. Perfect's call when Goldust starts rubbing his hands up and down Razor's chest.
Vader attacks Gorilla Monsoon - Raw January 1996. Nice little segment to get Vader off TV to rest from his shoulder surgery. Gorilla gets a nice ovation when he starts to chop Vader.
Shawn Michaels vs Owen Hart - In Your House February 1996. Nice match. These guys always worked well together.
Bret Hart vs Hunter Hearst Helmsley - Raw March 1996. Good match. These two worked well together.
Shawn Michaels vs Diesel - In Your House April 1996. Really good match. Probably the best one they had. The No Holds Barred style really worked well.
Marc Mero vs Hunter Hearst Helmsley - In Your House May 1996. Not that good of a match. They really worked the injured arm story which slowed down the match significantly.
Undertaker vs Mankind - King of the Ring 1996. Excellent Match. The best one on the disc. These two had great chemistry. Props to Taker for selling for Mankind to help put him over as a beast.
Steve Austin vs Jake the Snake - King of the Ring 1996. Not a great match. Best part of this was Austin's promo at the end of the match. Amazing he came up with this on the spot.
HBK, Ahmed & Sid vs Camp Cornette - In Your House July 1996. Nice match. Not too great. Shawn did a lot of selling to setup/build for Summer Slam. Vader getting the pin was a good way to get him over.
On to disc 2...

Always great chemistry between these two I was at that man...s a 13 year old I was effing devastated When Vader beat Sting. Hardly anyone in Ireland knew who was who on this card because it was WWF country & WCW/NWA was on at 3am....sometimes 😂😂😂 It was St Patrick's Day too

The streaming service I use has a bunch of 24/7 channels - besides all the other regular cable networks. 24/7 Harry potter Movies, Big Bang Theory Episodes, Game of Thrones, Marvel Movies - there are hundreds of options. The channels show every episode, in order, repeated on a loop. They aren't On Demand, you select the channel and wherever they are in the loop, that's what you watch. There are 2 Wrestling ones. Wrestlemania and Summerslam.
A week or three ago I turned on The Wrestlemania channel and saw Mr. Perfect vs The Blue Blazer from WM 5. Short little semi-squash, but fun knowing who Owen would go on to become in the WWF. hen that match ended, I turned on the Summmerslam channel in time to see the introductions of Mr. Perfect vs Bret Hart from Summerslam 91.
Back to back Hennig vs Harts was a great way to spend part of the day. I marveled at his size compared to the guys today. He was considered a smaller, more athletic guy, but would dwarf seemingly 3/4 the roster in the WWE/AEW right now.
