Does anyone know the differences that set apart the WWE Classic 3 Pack Legion of Doom with Sunny compared to the other WWE Classic LOD Road Warriors releases? Is it just the black shoulder pads or are the tights and paint different as well? Thank you to anyone who can help me out! Comparision pics would be hugely appreciated if you have them

When the classics were out I thought Jakks made too many LODs even if many of their outfits were represented. But looking at all them now on one thread I think they're pretty cool. The fix-up is terrific and it's too bad Jakks never came out with Animal for AWA Hawk. The blue by Jakks is an interesting one because it represents a short stint in WCW from maybe January 1996 (debut at Clash) to May 1996 (last I remember them was at Slamboree). Jakks did the same thing in 1998 with LOD 2000 in keeping the mohawk look for Animal but they at least painted all hair on Hawk as opposed to the classics with just the two hair strips.

I agree with you. I wish Jakks made a classic Hawk with a full head of hair like his LOD 2000 days and an accurate AWA Animal. That would have really completed the timeline. Also would have been cool to see a set with the LOD2000 Helmets and graffiti pads or even the Gold pads from Wrestlemania.

Great collection of LOD figures there. Man I'd love that CSTT1 Road Warriors set

Those exclusive LOD are the only one I don't have - it was always too pricey for me but maybe I will finally pick one up if I can find a decent price. That's the attire they have as DLC in WWE 12. PJ, you left out LOD Heidenreich - not a fan?

I unlocked the LOD entrance attire in WWE12, the pads are different from the exclusive though, they just have a couple huge spikes on their pads instead of several. To bad Jakks wasn't more accurate and made the different style pads they wore. Oh well, Im thankful for what we got and excited to see what Mattel does with Hawk and Animal next!

I wonder why the sunny is the exact same as her other one?!?!??!! The actual figure is the same but her outfit seems to be made from foam on the 3 pack figure while the single release figure has a more shiny cloth outfit.

Wow, amazing LOD collection. I love the customs/fix-ups that you did in order to complete the old school Road Warriors. My favorite are definitely the CS6 or CS23.

Thanks. My favorite Hawk is the CS9 even with those damned laced boots, because I always loved that black facepaint more than his traditional facepaint. And my favorite set easily would have been CSTT1, but they ruined them for me with the laced boots.

I have had to fix up all my pre 97 Rooad Warriors figures too......had to but a lot of figures I didnt want for damn Kane boots.
I still cant believe Jakks did THREE versions of LOD2000 Animal and no NWA/AWA version to go with Hawk.
