Hey, I was just lookin' around at some classic clips on YouTube and came across this one and it featured The Bully as being a part of Col. Mustafa's team that year. I had no idea he was scheduled to appear at that event until just now, some 20 years later. As it turned out, he didn't "survive" The Survivor Series. He didn't even make it to appear. Does anyone know why?? Was he fired?? If so, why?? The Bully ended up being replaced by Hercules. Was that even explained how The Bully got eliminated before the match?? And how about The Dragon?? Why didn't he make it either?? He ended up being replaced by El Matador Tito Santana. And now, I just checked out another clip and "The Anvil" Jim Neidhart didn't make it either: Anvil was replaced by Sgt. Slaughter. Anyway, it just really surprised me seeing The Bully listed to participate in The Survivor Series that year. It's fun finding out this stuff out so many years later, all thanks to YouTube.

According to Steamboats Wikipedia page he handed in his notice and left before the event took place (it also mentions Bully left as well.) on the same page it says that the Anvil was injured so was replaced. i'm never sure how reliable Wiki is but here's the link: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ricky_Steamboat#New_Japan_Pro_Wrestling_and_return_to_WWF_.281990.E2.80.931991.29 Also in one of those clips it shows Sid Justice was meant to team with Bossman and LOD. i always thought it was meant to be Randy Savage that was teaming with them.

Sid Justice was originally captain of his team along with Bossman & LOD, but broke his arm and Savage was rumoured to take his place, as he was petitioning to be reinstated after the cobra incident with Jake. Can't understand why they didn't put Savage in, was ideal actually.

After the cobra incident, Tunney "suspended" Roberts, making the Survivor Series match 3 on 3.

On the coliseum video box they have Barbarian listed in Bully's place. I can't remember what face team it was, if it was Anvil or Slaughter or Santana or Dragon. I don't know if it was pre-Bully or or post. There's no picture of the teams just the names on opposite sides. Maybe someone with the box can let us know. Great finds on the videos!
