Now that you guys are starting to do built a figure and the backstage arena coming in pieces with figures, will you consider making a built a cage set where the pieces come in elite figures and the pieces will be able to make a steel cage, Hell In a cell etc? Or maybe some accesoires like new ropes, turbuckle and ring skrit?  |

Thanks as always for the hard work guys and I appreciate any answers to the following questions, the bulk of with deal with legends on mattycollector.com.
1. The shopmattel/mattycollector.com Rockers mix-up sparked a lot of controversy, but it also showed that shopmattel.com has cheaper shipping than mattycollector.com so anyone who got The Rockers on shopmattel.com not only got the figures for $20, but with about $6 shipping compared to mattycollector.com's $10 price. I know online exclusives cost more in general, but $30 per legend with nothing beyond the regular Elite accessories seems steep. I'm buying all of them as I want the line to continue, but is there any concern that they'll be too many who can't afford that much and not getting enough sales to continue, not because they don't want a Tully Blanchard or Arn Anderson, but because they cost so much?
2. For Matty's DC's subscription service, the figures (on a similar 6" scale) cost $15 and at least one of the four announced figures will have an alternate head. Matty's Masters of the Universe figures come with on average about 3-4 accessories and are bigger requiring more plastic. Since I figure the price on legends on matty won't go down, the Legends selected don't seem to offer much in terms of accessories to get that bang for buck besides maybe jackets for the Brainbusters and a vest for DDP. What, if anything, is being considered to make the customer feel like they've gotten close to their $30 worth, especially when they can purchase two Elites for the same price?
3. Last go-round, a few of us asked about managers like Mr. Fuji to go with Demolition, Slick to pair with The Twin Towers, Brain and his family, etc. and the response was they'd likely be BAF/Collect and Connect options. Since managers are more of a 80s-90s thing, what format could we see them since I assume you wouldn't pack Paul Bearer parts with Elite Miz and Heath Slater.
4. You all have been great in terms of sharing who is definitely off limits (Owen, Benoit and Hall). I know others aren't possible right now due to being in other promotions, but can you share any other "big-names" that Mattel won't be able to provide us ever?
5. I finally found an Elite Scale Ring and just like everything else, it's better than the former license holder. With online possibilities is there any chance of revisiting/making some ring skirts for various pay-per-views from the 80s-90s? I'd love a Monday Nitro or Summerslam skirt to put around my ring for example.

What are you doing to help combat the ever-growing number of people who either steal belts out of elite packaging or return elite figure packages with basic figures inside? This is really frustrating to see.
Also, when will the first Sin Cara hit the marketplace and what series will it be in. Thank you.

I'll make my questions simple and quick since I know you have a lot to go through. Thanks guys for all your hard work and dedication! 1) you guys said another Ryder figure was in the works, are you guys going to keep Ryder himself updated on how his figure looks since he was upset with his elite figure? 2) did you stop working on the kharma figure since she got pregnant, or did you continue with it that way it will be ready for release once she returns back? 3) Any update on gobbeldy gooker? I know many people want this, it's so different and fun!  what do I have to do to get this figure made, tattoo the mattel logo somewhere on my body? Cause I will!!!!!! 4) Pleaseeeeee tell me Doink the Clown is in the works? I can only imagine how great of a job you guys would do on him! |

Real simple question:
With the rising cost of plastic, why does Mattel insist on using leg sleeves on their figures? It's only accurate for some of the current roster, but it's highly inaccurate for the majority of everyone else. They are not functional and hinder the knee articulation, and Mattel has readily available medium and small knee pad molds in their inventory!
