The issue with adding items of clothing as accessories rather than sculpting them as part of the figure is always that they're going to be ill-fitting and a bit weird-looking. It's the price you pay for them being removable. I think the Cody mask's fine, all things considered, but I also thought they should have put it on a headsculpt where the hair has an indentation for it. I don't see really how they could sculpt the mask on and then have it look clear. Yeah, there's that too. They would mold the head so it exactly fits. And then "glue" the straps onto the head so the clear plastic is covering the face. Think of how some long hair molds are glued to the head.

they could mold the straps into the hair, and them have the head molded to fit a mask in place after the painting. but as someone mentioned, that would cost more...just trying to get more accurate.

I think its a great piece and when I first looked at it and took it off I gave praise to Mattel.
Could'nt have done it any better imo
