Even before this year's box office hit sequel, The Hangover Part II, opened, director Todd Phillips was announcing that a third Wolf Pack adventure would both happen and be planned as an end to the franchise. "Obviously we always envisioned it as a trilogy," he said back in May, "The third would be very much a finale and an ending... As far as where it takes place, I'm very open." Today, it looks like we might have the answer to that location question, straight from one of the series' leads, Bradley Cooper. He appeared tonight on the BBC's The Graham Norton Show and explained the following (via Bleeding Cool): "I think that we adhered to the formula in the second one, for those who’ve seen it, and the third one, I think, which would close the whole trilogy… I think it'll take place in Los Angeles and maybe not adhere to the structure. It might be different." Though no dates have officially been announced (and even the title itself is tentative), The Hangover Part III could go into production as early as next year for a 2013 release. Cooper added, "I hope we're gonna start shooting in September. I know that Todd Phillips is working on the script." In addition to Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis are definitely set to return. -Comingsoon.net CAN'T WAIT.

I actually didn't mind the second one as much as some people I know. So I'm for it.

It's not so much that the second one was bad, but it was just mostly rehashed material from the first, and slightly altered. It was underwhelming more than anything, after how great the first one was. If they vary the formula up, I'd be all for a third one.

That's not a very good example considering Home Alone 2 is terrible, too.

I hope they do something unique, unfortunately we all know it will be the same jokes because they know people will see it regardless.

I was making the point of Home alone 1 and 2 being the same story just altered How dare you speak ill of the first two Home Alone films like that. The first film he was home by himself, the second film he was by himself in new york city! Plus different shennanigans happen! But yeah anyway if they do a new story with the same writers and all I'd be for it. Like others said, it wasn't that Hangover II was bad, it was just all stuff that was in the first film.

eh i really didnt like hangover 2 for two reasons, i hated the setting and i hated that it was a carbon copy of the first i mean there can be sequels that are the same idea or plot but im talking about the scenes were IDENTICAL, tooth/tattoo, tiger/old man fron monk place, baby/monkey, eddie the wedding guy/ eddie the pimp, police involved/police involved, horrible dyhydration and sun burn to missing guy/missing finger on missing guy, wedding/wedding, drugged/drugged i mean identical
i think hangover 2 would be much funnier to me if hangover 1 didnt exist but it does oh well if they changed everything in the third then maybe it could work but i cant see it doing as well as the other two since people know how bad the second was

I don't have much an issue as long as they truly try to make it different this time around. It's not that the second one was bad, it was just essentially the same movie done again in a different city.

The thing is, and I bring it up everytime, that they straight up said that the second one is basically the same movie. If you couldn't tell from the plot or the trailers, then you have to be blind. You knew what you were getting into. So if you go and see the third, and it is just like the first two, you have no reason to bitch.

Like others, I also hated The Hangover: Part II. Not funny at all and was, essentially, a remake of the first one. If the third one looks the same, then I shall avoid it all together.

I didn't like the first one, and never saw the second one. Won't be seeing this one if it comes out.

I think I'll wait to see it on dvd.
I would not be surprised if they made a 4th film or a spin off if the third one does well.
