I like Dino! You should try molding the head a bit, like add some chubbiness to it. Clean painting on the trunks.

That actually helps alot!
I hate Painting skintone to match the rest of the fig. I was working on a Nash with a Taker torso. I have a good skintone color, but it's off with the other parts. I keep adding a bit of red and then blue, but it never matches up.

what head did you use for Dino? Matt Hardy? ANyways both look great, Dino was one of those guys that I always liked, especially during his early run with Earthquake, and then as the New Dream Team w/ The Hammer. Bret Hart thought he sucked, but not me. He deserved a CS figure from Jakks, and a Legends figure from Mattel.

Yes he definetly did/does , Yes its matt hardy , i think it works very well and im extremely happy that it does, ive always wanted to make a dino bravo custom but all the faces ive seen used never had any expression in them, or they were ken anderson
I loved Dino in his Canadian Strong Man Gimmick, Im a huge earthquake Fan too so i guess that makes me want a Dino Bravo figure even more.
ChristianEdge, ive tryed to paint skintone before and it never looks the same, even if you get the color right, the shines just not there, so its either paint the whole figure or none when it comes to skin for me . and id rather not paint any skin because then im always afraid if i move any parts then peices might chip off
Im trying to avoid using any jakks heads anyhow so skin color shouldnt be a problem anymore, The only Jakks heads i have right now are Earthquake, Hogan, Flair and Barbarian, Flair works perfect, r3 Hogans not bad, Earthquakes just a stand in till mattel makes him and I think i have an idea to make a mattel barbarian head.... if it works im gonna scrap the oversized jakks one , i may even try to make a mattel earthquake head..... which i think will be hard but not impossible , actually i think i could make a great earthquake out of a dusty rhodes head with sculpty and an exacto knife

Both Gonzalez' are awesome. You did such a great job to capture the likeness and detail.
I wonder why, with all the effort WWF put into the fur suit, why they went with the airbrush look? Maybe it was too hot even though it was a little fur but they could have saved themselves the trouble and just kept the first suit since he wouldn't last by 1993 year's end.
As bad as some gimmicks were it's too bad they didn't get over more with all the effort of the costumes (Gooker, Akeem, Papa Shango, Giant and more) and the wrestler's playing bad gimmicks at least put effort into it. Watching Royal Rumble makes one really think if Undertaker finally met his better match in Giant.

Thnx dude, i appreciate that, i really loved gonzalez when i was younger, to see him flawlessly throw the undertaker out of the rumble, fight 3 jobbers at once, and wm9 when he has that ref by the throat and keeps lifting him off the ground and throwing him around , he was just a character that struck fear in little kids hearts, you can see it in the audience, when i was young, he was that character. the guy that you were afraid might just change his mind and come into the crowd and start rampaging anyway, hopefully mattel change their minds and make him as well For thos who missed it on the mattel boards , heres my scott hall and razor ramone

Great customs all around. (gonna focus on Warrior) Warrior is nice. There are few things I would have done differently. The Warrior symbol on the cheek could a WAY neater. I feel if you outline it again with the black it will make is pop more and look a little more accurate and less amateurish.
Lastly, to me...looking at the Warrior it looks to be only about 50% done. Why didn't you do the wristbands, fray, arm bands, boot tassels and lastly boots accurately? Eh, like I said it looks half done.

good luck at auction. My recommendation to you. Is pull it off eBay..since it has no bids. Touch it up and I bet you get a lot more $ for it. I know from experience that those knee pads were not easy...and they look good... so you might as well put the effort into the rest for the figure. Although I realize that it's probably in the category of an "eBay custom".
