The way I had written it in my head (which is ruined now because they showed his face in the promo) was Masked Kane comes back with Paul Bearer and says the Kane that was talking and unmasked wasn't the real the Kane instead WWE "killed" the real Kane because he was too powerful to be running around WWE and replaced him with a watered down imposter and now he's taken out fake Kane and is back for revenge. Then have him rampage and destroy, maybe give him a title for one final run then have some up and comer beat him then just let him retire. Typing it out now it seems kinda lame, but meh whatever.

Did y'all know Kane has been maskless for longer than he had the mask? He wore a mask for the first 7 or so years of the character's career (1997-2003) and it's now been about 8 years without the mask (2004-2011)... I'm just saying it's kinda got to the point where I'm used to maskless Kane.

Not months but years that Kane has been stale, but I will say it again, since he took the mask off in mid 2003 he has been stale. So that's 8 long years that Kane has been unmasked and what makes it worse is masked Kane only last for 5 years compared to the current Kane's 8 years!  i'm pretty psyched for his return with the mask. he's been stale for months and months and he needed this more than anything to make things better. i can't wait for the return promo when he's finally back. |

He says he feels less like a monster and more like a human.Maybe that's why now he's putting the mask back on again so he can feel more like a monster and destroy his opponents in the ring?

Kane resurrected? F*CK YEAH! I will always support Kane, but lately, he's been meh. Maybe this could lead to a replacement Kane after Jacobs retires. I would hope not, but it wouldn't surprise me if WWE did a Tiger Mask like thing with the Kane character.

I think it's a little too late to plan big things with Kane. They already ruined him by involving him in some of the most lame rivalries and stripping him of his psycho, monster gimmic. These days Kane is almost laughable and bland. That aside he has all the potential to be just as big as Undertaker.

I dont think he will come back with the mask. It was a great promo but I dont see it. On the other hand the past 2 years has been great on Kane. He was a monster again for most off it. Had title reigns. It was good.

This is very exciting to watch. Im really hoping this all leads to a rumble win and maybe a wwe championship reign. I hope they treat kane well whether he is masked full time or not at all but surely he should be bringing the mask back in some capacity even if its more used as the urn was to taker. Im just wondering when he will be back, this cant drag him out to the rumble surely so either TLC or maybe the first raw of 2012 (yeah two big returns) seem like the most likely. Thats just over 5 and a half years, not really close to 7 which is even more of a shame since he has been unmasked for 8 and a half years meaning he has been unmasked for almost 3 years more than he was masked. People seem to regard the masked era as kanes longest but its gradually taken a back seat. |

I love how everyone shoots down potential ideas because they don't make sense. This is the WWE writing team we are talking about. Seldom does anything really make sense. Usually when it does, it has to do with the character himself having some sort of say. With Kane's track record of terrible angles I wouldn't be a bit surprised if he just had the mask and they came up with some lame excuse, like the hospital he was in when his leg was crushed burned down and his face is a mess again, or he was training to be a fire eater and the lessons went awry, or his BBQ exploded in his face when he was cooking up human remains. They did just drop the whole story of the burned face the week after he took off the mask. Of course, he might come back without it, leaving the masked promos making no sense.
