There are so many people on here that would kill for an HBK from 95-98 to be released in ELITE form! This figure would sell! Todays audience is familiar with HBK so they will buy it! And even if they don't know who is is there are SO many flashy attires that would appeal to people unfamiliar with HBK! Please here us out on this one! THis isn't asking for a Magnum TA figure that would most likely not sell well, THIS IS ASKING FOR A FIGURE THAT IS ALMOST GAURENTEED TO SELL! PLEASE HERE US OUT!

I want 1 too, but I doubt they are in a rush to release another 1... since they just released that Royal Rumble Heritage 1.
I want 1 in that blue attire he used to wear.

Seriously Mattel could sell their whole line with HBK and Taker figs if they wanted to. They are that iconic and important to the wrestling world. Each has had some many different looks its surprising we haven't seen more...but we're to blame for poor sales  ? |

Seriously they screwed themselves with the legends line by not releasing guys like Michaels, Taker, Kane, etc. Jakks first set of CS was HHH, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Undertaker, Ultimate Warrior and Andre The Giant!With Mattel we got The Road Warriors, Ricky Steamboat, Dusty Rhodes, Steve Austin and Sgt. Slaughter and while that was a GREAT assortment you can clearly see the difference here! But that's not what we are here for we just want an elite Michaels! and Hell even Taker for that matter! I don't know about you guys but I haven't seen a single EG Taker warming the shelves and I haven't seem much of the Michaels either because these guys sell! Come on Mattel do the right thing and make smart decisions! Make this Michaels!

Absolutely, yes.    Any of those would suffice. I especially want the last one, which he wore at 1997's UK PPV, One Night Only, and I think he wore something similar during his 2000s comeback before switching to pants. It's my favorite wrestling attire ever. Can't find a decent picture of it, but it's this really reflective silver/red/white candystripe look. It would be unbelievably awesome in figure form. |

Hey, it worked for the Masked punk. So put me down for this one. As I was one of MANY clamouring for an Elite 95-98 HBK since they announced legends, and clamoring for the blue Summerslam 95 attire since WAY back when Jakks started Classics.

This should be turned into a poll thread with the question being do we deserve a Shawn Michaels 95-98 era elite flashback figure. Simple yes or a simple no! It would show Mattel how much demand he has.

I think Mattel should do a boxed set of 5 or 6 HBK figures (ala the Rey tribute) in classic-only attires. Even if it included outfits that Jakks already did (Montreal, DX, WM10,) I'd still have no problem dropping $50-$75 on it.

I never understood this logic though, that was one of the great things about Jakks CS, you got current stars in past attire, while it didnt occur often it did happen, look st how many Exclusive Shawns we got from jakks, the guy sells! Lets go mattel, make a figure that is gaurenteed to sell! |
