I received an email from Chad Broadwater, the man who donated a kidney to Konnan. Chad passed along word that as of 8/8, Konnan was headed to a transplant center in the U.S. to try and stop his kidney from failing.
Upon further research, I found that Konnan's body has rejected the kidney and he is headed to San Diego to see doctors. Here is the message on his MySpace which was posted on Tuesday, August 07, 2007 at 10:06 PM:
"Just so everyone knows i came home for one day decided to answer mail. My body is rejecting the kidney, i was in tiuana for 7 days and nothing really changed so i will be coming to san diego and see if they can fix me, thanx for the support and thank u chad. konnan s j"

Damn. That sucks I hope something is done soon. But this really goes in the Other Feds board since he no longer works for TNA. No biggie though.

Does anyone no if that can be fatal No, from what I gather (My dad has kidney disease, he's waiting on a transplant), they just put you back on dialysis until they find another kidney. |

Maybe the kidney was racist....... If I was a religious person, which I am not, I would say maybe this is Gods way of telling Konnan to stop being the worlds biggest crybaby douchebag. But personally, I think it is karma biting the prick in the ass.

TNA loaned him the money and the douche still whines. Like I said, I don't buy into religion, but if I did, I'd say God is telling him to stop being a prick. And again, personally I think it is karma kicking him in his whiny ass. This has nothing to do with Jeff Jarrett, Dixie Carter or otherwise, it is about Konnan being a grade A bunghole.

I think the key item in this whole story is that Konnan needs a new kidney based on things he did before TNA ever existed. TNA doesn't need to cover his medical expenses; and it was actually nice of them to loan him the money for it.
That being said, I hope he finds a kidney his body accepts and it works out well for him.

How is lending someone money that works for your company helping? TNA has enough money to blow on Pacman Jones and Matt Morgan though.

Actually I am in my late 20's and married. But that doesn't matter to you evidently. Konnan has come off as a world class douchebag and I for one think that in the case of scumbags like him, what goes around, comes around. He is getting what he deserves. As for Dixie, I happen to admire women who can make it in business and in a mans world. Her success makes her a role model for any woman looking to make it in business, even my wife thinks she is great. She is 42. Why is that considered old? I guess when you are 12 that is old maybe? I don't know. Either that or it says a hell of a lot for society.
