My Dad calls them dolls And always complains about the amount of money I've been spending on them in the past year. And the rest don't really care.

Mom- passes the cool test for picking me up D-Bryan elite for me over the weekend because she knows he's one of my favorites.
Dad- calls my bedroom a kid's room for all my figures.

No one cares really cause I only have the divas and Cody Rhodes and anyway my jacks divas and the Mattel divas who have been fired are in the attic so I only have out Kelly Kelly, DOD, Eve, Vickie, And Layla. (my Cody's are in my closet) so basically I only have six on my dresser

My wife is extremely cool about it. In fact, she actually got me started with collecting. I had been buying a few figures here and there of people I really liked (Austin, Angle, Booker), but I wasn't looking to make a hobby out of it. Then one day she returned home from a trip to Walmart and had bought me Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, and Ultimate Warrior from Classic Superstars Series 1. Needless to say, I was pumped, as I was a huge fan of all 3 and could not believe they were now making figures of legends. I thanked her profusely and proceeded to immediately make a trip to the same Walmart and pick up HHH and Taker to complete the series. I haven't looked back since and now collect both current stars and legends.
The rest of my family is pretty cool with it as well. My mom hunts for me when she goes out of town and buys me figures for Christmas. I'm sure my dad, who has always hated wrestling, thinks it is silly, but he has never made a negative comment to me about it. In fact, he is pretty amazed by my "wrestling mancave". The only person who gives me any grief is my uncle that lives across the street from me. We have always been very close and he is kind of like my second dad, so he gives me the little comments about how much money I'm wasting on it every once in a while. All I have to do is start giving it right back to him about how much money he blows at the casino every week and that usually shuts him up pretty fast LOL!

My girlfriend thinks that I don't need figures cause I "have so many." I don't have that much, old Jakks and new Mattel's together brings me to about 25 figures. Living in Canada, I miss out on most waves so when I see a new figure in stores or on sale online she tells me I don't need them haha. No one else in my family minds though.

Hell no lol. My family thinks I spend too much money on them.. they're kind of right lol. Then again, my mom knows how big of a wrestling fan I've been since I was a kid, so she's more than willing to get me a figure I'm looking for if she comes across it.

When I started dating my wife, I told her, with no reservation, that I was an authentic nerd. I'm always going to love comic books, action figures, Star Wars merch, etc. She was fine with it then and after seeing some of her friends fall prey to cheating/drinking/abusive husbands, she realizes that a little weirdness is a small price to pay for a happy marriage. Also, my kids think Daddy's figs are cool. Although I expect this to change when they become teens.

My Mum doesn't really care since she moved out. She'll ask me if I need some money for something online. My Dad's always saying not more bloody wrestlers. He has records, bike magazines, car magazines, about 4 copies of each LOTR movies, about 5 or 6 copy of each Sarah Brightman CD or record, Pink Floyd, David Gilmour. And I have WWE Mattel and TNA JAKKS as my hobbies. He can't tell me sh*t My Grandma asks me what am I wasting my money on. I think she's joking though. I mainly keep to myself about it.

I collect and make customs as well. Ive sold my customs and made money off them. My family has generally been impressed and supportive. My girlfried especially thinks its cool I have such a unique hobby. But most of all my dad supports it the most. He has his hobbys with crafts and sees it as another type of craft ot just a childs collection. Plus he collects hotwheels haha.

My wife tolerates what I collect. She'd prefer I didn't go crazy on spending, but she knew what she was getting into when we first started dating. My WWE figures were all on display the first time she came over to my house.
My mom is pretty cool about it. Even as an adult, I'll still drag her to TRU when I go visit and she'll buy me things. My stepdad, not so much. We don't tell him when we do a TRU run lol.

Every time I've wanted to stop collecting my Mom has talked me out of it. Its pretty awesome. I've still sold it a few times through the years but shes always told me to just keep going. (But I really don't wanna have over 40-50 figures.
My Dad was confused when I was in highschool and college and traveling the country and still buying them, and a few times told me I needed to stop wasting my money on them, but I think he realized that I don't spend a TON of money on them and I'm not about to stop anytime soon. I'll see if he supports it when he does or doesn't get me the Macho King exclusive for Christmas. I asked for it instead of buying it myself just to see if he actually was cool with me still collecting.

My wife enjoys it. If she sees a new figure, she'll call me to ask if I want it. If I see something on here that one that I'm looking for is at "x" store, she's more than happy to load up in the car & go with me. She has her own collection, too.
My friends vary between thinking that it's silly & envying me being able to collect them. My wife's family thinks that it's stupid, & I think that my mom's surprised that I still get them, but she understands it. She's the one that I used to watch wrestling with, & I had a lot of them growing up (23 LJNs plus the ring & steel cage addition, & 69 Hasbros plus the ring).
