yep, WWE found a way for Cena to open the smarks wallets. Genius! I was just thinking this. So does Cena still get money off these? His name is on it, so he would have to. |

i think the people who made it are smart, but it bothers that Cena will get the residuals from these shirts, like some have said, probably just a way to get Cena back to the top of their merch sellers list (not sure if Punk is still #1 or not)

Or how about stop worrying about who is making the company the most money, and just have a bit of fun, join in with it and buy the shirt because you think Cena sucks?Plus, most crowds are virtually silent nowadays until the 'Let's go Cena!' 'Cena sucks!!' chants kick in, that's why the WWE Universe revolves around Cena. It's the fans fault for not bothering to get into a show other than booing Cena as hard as they can. Because if I really think Cena sucks, I don't want a tshirt that promotes John Cena. That's like me hating the Green Bay Packers, buying a "Packers Suck" shirt, but the Green Bay Packers making all the money off of the shirt I just bought. I'd be supporting something I supposedly hate. Not only would I be a hypocrite, I'd be a moron too because I thought I was getting one over on the Packers. I don't have the problem, I enjoy Cena, but if I really didn't like him, this wouldn't be my way to demonstrate it. Additionally, you're the biggest Cena mark on this site, of course you want people to "have fun" and buy the shirt. I don't get it to be honest. It's making WWE money, it's not promoting John Cena, you're just taking it too seriously. It's just a f****** shirt, it's not like people buying a 'Cena sucks' shirt is gonna prevent CM Punk from being the biggest thing in WWE or whatever it is that worries you. I couldn't care less which Superstars are the biggest merchandise movers or who is making WWE money... don't see why you are so concerned about it. No need to be belittling and call me a 'Cena mark' either; I'm a fan of the guy, just like I'm a fan of CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Wade Barrett, Randy Orton, Alberto Del Rio, Dolph Ziggler, Christian, Cody Rhodes, Big Show, Kane, Evan Bourne, Sheamus, and many many others. I just can't believe you're telling people not to buy a shirt that has their opinion printed across it, just because it will = another Cena shirt making WWE money. Petty or what. |

That just isn't right, sure its smart and all that, but jesus, should the company really be making shirts saying that thier top guy sucks. No matter how great Cena's attitude is, no matter how much of a man he is, this has to hurt him a bit. Doubtful. Cena's a smart man. He knows it's business, but more likely than that it's the seeds for some kind of storyline. Turning Cena heel even if only for a short time frame (maybe a couple of months) could do a lot to spark interest in the TV product. If Cena is supposed to be the best guy in the company (as is often portrayed), what happens when that guy goes bad and dominates as the villain? Besides appeasing some of the audience who don't care about the good guy Cena character, it could give some of the smaller faces a chance to rise up and make a name for themselves as they try to take down the big bad villain Cena. |

I don't get how some of you don't get it.
We want Cena in small letters = the kiddies. CENA SUCKS = equals the majority of people.
We See U as in We can see you.
