does anybody actually care about what batista thinks? I mean, his best buddies Rey and Eddie were champions.. i'd argue that neither is any better than Danielson. And, Eddie's first title win was pretty random too

Seriously i reacted that way and I love the guy aswell. Its kind of like Reys win. He deserves it but its just not believeable. Look at all the top guys on smackdown. With the exception of Cody everyone else (Orton, Barrett, Show, Henry, Sheamus, etc.) looks like they could squash the kid. Its a bittersweet title win for me because i know how good he is and how much he deserves it but i know its going to be a flash in the pan of sorts. Tho only way i see Bryan having a lengthly reign is if they turn him heel and have him be like "Nobody has faith in me, nobody thinks I can be a legit champion so the haters im gonna show you all" kinda cocky heel type thing. |

I kind of agree with Batista... I know DB is awesome in the ring in ROH and other indies, but I think once you're in the WWE, it's like hitting the reset button. I just haven't seen anything super-impressive from him in his WWE career. I also think he needs some credible wins over some top guys before he carries that belt. Didn't he just lose clean to Cody Rhodes?
Either way, I have a feeling his run is probably going to get the Swagger treatment...

Dude that match was a whole 5 minutes long and Big Show has been through much worse before. If Cena can go through an elimination chamber match, Taker can go through a Steel Cage match, hardy can go through a TLC match, Orton has to be jumped before they were all cashed in on then The Big Show should kick out after 5 minutes and a DDT on some chairs. But other then that smackdown NEEDS heels, with Henry reportedly hurt all they have is Barrett, Rhodes and thats it when theres Show, Orton, Sheamus, Booker T, and DBry all top faces on smackdown. Either Show or Bryan is turning heel. Its almost necessary |

I love the way that Batista tried to act like a bad ass by saying he's at Gracie Fighter in Tampa every day.

I love Daniel but I think he got it too soon. They really should have built him up more. But that's not Bryan's fault. It's not his fault that creative sucks, and they booked him to be the weakest MITB winner since Ken Kennedy. Now that he has the title, I'm hoping that they make him the badass that he can be. He is this generation's Lou Thesz. He is a grappling and technical master, and I hope they allow him to be that. |
