How would you book the Royal Rumble?

One thing I really want to see, is for Kane to break his own record by eliminating 12 people.

I want to predict Royal Rumble matches but it all depends on on the Jan 2nd thing. If it were to be Jericho he were to enter the Rumble I'm pretty sure he would win, but who knows. The cool thing about this year is that theres lot of potential. Miz, Ziggler, Barrett, Orton, Christian, Rhodes, Sheamus, and Kane are all good candidates. Even Brodus Clay could be a threat if hes booked as a monster.

I guess they will do something with Cena. Punk will probably face Ziggler or The Miz. I think Daniel Bryan will face Big Show. And maybe they will do Air Boom vs. Epico & Primo for the tag titles again if they dont do it on RAW between now and then. Also a divas match. If Layla comes back they should do Beth vs. Layla for the Divas Championship.

Yeah I'd prefer no Divas match too: the time they get for matches is what they should get for Raw as apposed to a 30 second 12 diva cluster . The PPV matches they have would be perfectly suitable for free.

This may be slightly OT, but rather than waste a whole thread for it, here's my simple fantasy scenerio.

I know it has a 99.9999% chance of not happening, but I'd LOVE to see a World/WWE title unification match at Mania (or any show) featuring Punk vs. Bryan.

30 Man Royal Rumble Match - Winner = Chris Jericho (if hes behind 2/2/12)

WHC Title - Daniel Bryan vs Show

WWE Title - CM Punk vs Dolph Ziggler

Kane vs John Cena (no point in having Cena in the Rumble)

Doing this all under consideration that Jericho is returning. Also, I have no idea when Christian is good to go, so I'm leaving him off...

- Who would be in the World Title matches? Easy, Punk vs. Ziggler and Bryan vs. Show.

- What would be on the undercard? Kane vs. John Cena. Cody Rhodes vs. Booker for IC title. For Kane vs. Cena; DQ win for Cena ... as Kane goes too far in his attacks. Kane will still appear in the Rumble, as would Rhodes.

- What would happen in the Rumble match itself? Road Dogg and Mick Foley would definitely appear. Kane will break his record for most eliminations in a single rumble. My reasoning being I'd have Kane vs. Taker booked for Mania. So while he won't win (which can be attributed to also competing against Cena), I would ideally book him the strongest he has ever been.

- How would the next few weeks play out? Kane would continue reeking havoc on Cena; Jericho will return.

- Who would be the 2 starting entrants? The Miz and R-Truth.

- Who would be the final 4? Kane, Chris Jericho, Sheamus and Randy Orton

- Who would last the longest? Kane or Jericho. Either one is fine.

- Who would win? Chris Jericho.

- What would happen in the Rumble match itself?

My Fantasy Royal Rumble Card

WWE Championship: CM Punk (c) vs The Miz with Chris Jericho as the Special Guest Referee

Going into the match, CM Punk and Jericho would be acting as pals, but it would be clear that this friendship is superficial and hanging on a thread. During the match, Jericho would refuse to count a GTS and therefore, Punk would go over, GTS Jericho and then brutalise him around the ring with chairs and the announce table. He'd return to the ring, where Miz would be playing possum and hit the SCF. A referee comes to the ring within 10 seconds and it's a 2 count. Punk then locks in the Anaconda Vice and Miz taps out.

World Heavyweight Championship

Daniel Bryan (c) vs The Big Show vs Mark Henry

In the upcoming weeks, I would have Big Show and Bryan 'hug it out' and enter this match as friends, with Big Show forgiving Bryan for his actions and conceding that he would have done the same thing. Daniel Bryan enters the match as a large underdog, with Cole playing up the fact that Daniel will have a short title reign. The match ends with Big Show knocking out Henry, only to have Bryan hit him with a sledgehammer in his man parts and steal the pin on Mark Henry before running out of the arena. Bryan retains.

Tag Team Championship: AirBoom vs Epico & Primo
Intercontinental Championship: Cody Rhodes vs Booker T
United States Championship: Zack Ryder vs Jack Swagger

The Royal Rumble Match

The final two would be Chris Jericho and Sheamus. At this point, the favourite would obviously be Jericho considering the 'spat' he had with Punk earlier in the show. But no, not to be deterred, the Celtic Warrior picks up the victory and wins the Royal Rumble.

WHC Scene

In the weeks leading up to Elimination Chamber, Big Show would once again forgive Daniel Bryan and even go as far as to compliment his cunning instincts which lead him to retain the title. Again, Show would concede that he would have done the same thing in that scenario.

The Smackdown Elimination Chamber would be Bryan (c) vs Show vs Henry vs Rhodes vs Orton vs Barrett. Bryan would be the last to be released from the pod. At this point, Orton, Barrett and Rhodes have already been eliminated. Henry and Show are fighting in the ring. As the 10 count goes down for Bryan to be released, Henry spears Show into Bryan's pod. Both men are out. Bryan is released and pins Show for the 1-2-3. He then pins Henry, but Mark kicks out at 2. The sudden realisation comes over Bryan that he is alone with Henry in the EC and his face is swept with fear. However, Daniel overcomes the odds and makes Henry tap.

Leading up to 'Mania, Big Show would complain that Daniel Bryan pinned him, his friend, instead of Mark Henry and once again cost him the WHC. He questions Bryan's friendship and Daniel shows no remorse. The relationship between the two grows more sour. Doubt lingers over whether Big Show will be included in the WM main event between Sheamus and Daniel Bryan. On the last Smackdown before Mania, Teddy Long makes a match between Sheamus and Big Show whereby, if Show wins, he is in the match at WM. 10-15 minutes into the match, Bryan storms the ring with a chair and beats the living daylights out of Sheamus. Sheamus wins by DQ. Daniel Bryan ends the show on top leading into Mania.

This sets up a 1v1 match at the April PPV between Bryan and Show, where Show says that he had his hands on the WHC for 30 seconds and that is enough for him. But at this point, he would much rather get his hands on Bryan. This leads up to an incredibly personal match in April which poses the question - will Bryan get knocked out or will Show tap?
