It does seem like it was suppose to be in Philly again but they lost the building and scrambled to find the cheapest available booking. I would think with it being in Easton you would lose a little of the attendance and I would expect more wacky American based trios and less international talent to keep costs down.

Okay so I am new to this thread.... I've always known about Chikara and seen a few show's here an there but recently I've just been way into the product, I really enjoyed High Noon and it was a show that made me decide to go a buy some more DVD's I got Young Lion's cup 9 as well as all three nights of King Of Trios from last year and loved it as well... what I am basically saying is Chikara has renewed my faith in wrestling as a whole.... I've purchased every show so far from 2012 and I just can't get enough.... Is there any previous show's you guys could recommend for me?
P.s.: Really looking forward to the next IPPV and also looking forward to posting in this thread more offten!

If you want some hows that will make you love wrestling, and I mean make you LOVE wrestling, watch King Of Trios 2011. That is probably my all time favorite indy event that I've ever watched. |

I'm still curious why this is even an ippv. To me it looks like any random CHIKARA show. I expected a little more out of this show. Maybe it isn't fair to compare but a show taking place in NJ the same day features Muta, Vader, Dreamer, Scott Steiner, Scorpio, and some well known indy guys and it is still cheaper than this ippv.

I don't think it's as strong as High Noon but I bought it to support the company. I'm interested in nearly all the matches, it just doesn't seem that "outside flavour" that the event has had the previous 2 years.

I think one of the things that will make this show a big deal, is the GEKIDO. I have a feeling that their identities will be revealed.

Well, apparently there was an issue between Chikara, GFL, and Roku. Couldn't stream the event on my Roku box. But, the replay will be available at noon tomorrow. Guess I'll watch it then.

I enjoyed the show myself, there was no real "omg amazing" match till FIST/Young Bucks at the end however. Also, Tommy Dreamer announced that he, Jerry Lynn and 2 Cold Scorpio will be a trios at King of Trios.

Probably better off just getting the MP4 from SmartMarkVideo, you'll save $5. Everything was fun, but again, the only "really good" match was FIST vs Young Bucks.

I thought the ladder match was entertaining. That main event is one of my favorite tag matches this year however.

I thought the show was pretty good live. I gotta say the venue is pretty shitty though. I'm surprised the wooden steps used to get to the balcony didn't collapse from the weight of some of the fans.
