Despite his recent transgressions.. I miss Kurt Angle being on WWE TV SO much. He was the perfect heel.. he was cocky, he was an arrogant idiot and he was actually the best wrestler in the company to back it up.
Can you imagine the pop if you heard his music start playing? It would be AMAZING. I'm getting excited just thinking about it! Haha.
Anyway. The point of this thread is for you guys to show your appreciation for this legend. Youtube links to some of his classic matches are more than welcome! So are pics and anything else!

Kurt Angle's my all time favorite wrestler. I really wish he'd clean up his act and return to WWE with a nice long run to finish up his career.

undeniably one of the best, he OWNED smackdown from 2003 till 2005. Pretty much. He had a huge roll in late 2001 as well. Guy was main-eventing almost every show. |

I really don't like him in TNA. I loved him in WWE, if only i could hear his music hit in a wwe arena once more.

Kurt Angle is one of my favorite wrestlers ever, he's on my top 3 of all time. I do wish Kurt Angle came back to the WWE. When you tell me WWE Champion, I think of Kurt Angle. This same entrance is what comes to my mind when I think of someone as WWE Champion. |

I just understand how such a great guy had to end up in such a crummy company.
I think if he stayed he would of won the ECW title - having awesome matches with Benoit in 2007.
He seriously had talent.
WWE should of really kept him no matter what.
Hopefully he comes back since SD needs some SD originals back on the show.

Recently watching some of his time in wwf in the 90's/early2000's and realised how much I missed the guy. He was awesome.

Maybe he's a lot happier in TNA with the light schedule. Maybe WWE haven't shown interest in offering him a contract: there's a lot more to it than "he should go back".

Despite it not being the most technical of matches, him and Shane put everything on the line in their King of the Ring match. I'll always love those two for that match.

I had very very low expectations for that match. I'd love to see Angle return back to the E'. Honestly, the guy is one of the all time greats and it could be argued the most athletic in the business. I'd love to see him go against guys like Punk, Daniel Bryan etc. I know that he'll give every match 110%, but we can't expect the same performance we had from him 5-6 years ago. |
