Horrible Bosses could be back for a sequel, its director has confirmed. Seth Gordon revealed that because the film, which stars Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrell and Kevin Spacey as the bosses from hell, has done so well in the US, producers were now trying to think of what to do as a follow-up. The director said: "Yeah, we've definitely discussed it. It's done well in the States, the film has, so that's becoming a more concerted effort now, we're trying to figure out what the sequel could be." He went on: "The original was a great script and a big part of why we went for it, it was because the script was so good so we won't compromise just for the sake of doing a sequel." The first one was great, especially at a time when theres no such thing as a funny movie, but I'm not sure how they'll be able to do a sequel.

Do these bozos ever think for one second that a string of successful "done in one" movies might be better for the industry than just rehashing the same old movies with sequel after sequel?

The only way I could see them doing a sequel is if it was with a different set of guys...or they try to kill their new bosses which would kind of take away that sympathetic idea from the first that they're just regular guys who can't take anymore. It would just make it feel like they're just determined to commit a murder.

Maybe if they use the same characters, same personalities but just a different storyline. Get away from the killing of the bosses idea. Use a different name for the movie, but just make sure they know its a sequel to Horrible Bosses. Just have them in another dilemma.
Kind of like Dogma and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

Liked the 1st so I'd be down for a sequel...would need to be a different story then the original or I don't think it could work..
