They could have Jericho come out as a masked man, so nobody knows, and defeat punk earning the title match, and then next week it is revealed to be Jericho thus making his return

Booker beat Cody? That does nothing for Booker and is worse off for Rhodes. Ah well, still nice to see Booker get a victory. It furthers the feud and makes it better when Cody beats him clean. |

boo zack rider!!!!!! Gotta say though, that match with Cody/Booker was fan-  ing-tastic. The feud itself seems kinda hollow, but these two have a lot of chemistry both in and out of the ring. Would love to see Book back in the ring FT, but I'd rather him remain on commentary, DAWG. |

Here's how I would book the gauntlet match. I know there's a lot of interference, but it IS the WWE...so yeah.
Match 1 Competitor: The Miz
CM Punk wins from interference from the returning R-Truth taking out Miz. Laurinitis then says that Truth is the 2nd competitor.
Match 2 Competitor: R-Truth
CM Punk wins after Miz interferes and screws Truth. This sets up a feud for them outside of the title picture. They fight off into the back as CM Punk recovers a bit.
Match 3 Competitor: Alberto Del Rio
It's generally a back and forth match, but Del Rio looks more in control. It looks as if he's going to win, but CM Punk pulls it out and pins Del Rio clean after a GTS or something. Del Rio leaves as Laurinitis comes down.
Laurinitis is in the ring as CM Punk is getting ready to fight. CM Punk toys with Laurinitis a bit, and as he goes to give him a GTS, Del Rio returns and breaks it up, beating down Punk. Del Rio stands over Punk as the show ends, setting up the feud.
Note - I want Del Rio nowhere near the title scene myself, but with the way the show is right now, it makes sense.

Dolph Ziggler, Punk will go over him too
Mark Henry?!?, Doubt he will face Punk at the Rumble he's on SmackDown
So best case scenario is Punk wins all three or Ziggler goes over Punk.
