Show a major wrestling company your animations, get hired, but never have your animations air on TV! Oh wait....

Cutting grass? I have never in my life walked down the road and saw a kid cutting grass. (doing it for a job) I see that all the time here. I get at least 2-3 people every summer who come by and want to cut my grass. If they're adults, I tell them no thanks 'cuz I can do it myself and costs nothing. If it's a kid, I'll let them because I want to encourage them to work.

Invest in something. Not sure how old you need to be to purchase stocks, so I'm going to assume 18. Or, you could always spend your money on a CD from the bank or possibly a savings bond.

You can work at most places in NJ if you're 16 but you need working papers.

Well, you could whore yourself out to a thousand fat chicks for $50 or a hundred really fat chicks for $500.
What? Fat chicks need love too

you sound like the most ignorant, spoiled kid i ever heard of. No, it's true man. I cant do paper routes, its too dangerous. in the 30s,40s,50s, (the good ol days) you could walk anywhere, do errands. Now everything sucks, things are 2 far away, no real money making. Plus, taking cans to that crashbag place takes like 10 cents a can. I used to be a true can fiend but i gave up, saved it for weeks, got like 10 dollars. So I mean when you think about it, just wait until your old enough to get a job. I do chores at my house, but i usually do nothing and live in my cave all day. But its true. tings are too far away now. my neighbors hate me so I dont go down the road much We save cans at college for extra money, and take ones people throw out. We average a decent $40-50 per week. Plus, it's only 5 cents a can in New York. You can make decent spare cash collecting cans.

Lol. Throw cans, man be real. No one does this. This isnt the 40s or 50s where you could ride your bike to johnnys grandma house and be safe. we aint ride bikes no more. I mean, no kid has a lawn mower he picks up and tows it to his friends house. No one even cares bout lawns anymore, except schools. I mean, try telling any girl you cant chill this week cuz your out making money. not making money doing nothing, making money doing work. like throwing away garbage, i barely do anything at my house except live in my room and play games all day, i stay paid. just be a rebel, dont do anything. I'd love to see where you're at at in 15-20 years. If you're 16, go out a find a job at a fast food place or some other small store. You'll only get paid minimum wage, but hey, its money. Once summer hits, go out and do some yard work (yes, people actually do care about their lawns). During the summer I umpire baseball, so if there's a children's baseball league in your area, go for that. I make about $20 a game to just stand there and call balls and strikes.

Cutting grass? I have never in my life walked down the road and saw a kid cutting grass. (doing it for a job) I'm not sure you actually leave your home. You also sound like a waste of carbon; you're full of more excuses than anyone in government. "My neighbors don't like me", who's fault is that? Probably yours from acting like a lazy brat. If you've never seen kids so any work, I have no idea where you exist; it sounds like nowhere. Take some pride in being a productive part of society. But yeah if you're under 18 you don't have many options. I don't know the legal age to work in NJ, but I was working since I was 14 here. Which isn't legal still, but family hires anyway and no one cared. But fast food, some mall stores(Hot Topic hires frequently out of high schools around here), busing dishes, etc. Really low paying things like that. It sucks, but you'll understand the value of saving money and not wanting to spend it all the time because you really won't make that much of it. When it comes to summer, try and do lawn work. Even if people mostly hire Mexicans, there's a lot of people who will still try and pay the teen kid just trying to earn spare cash. Especially if you do a fine job and are really working hard. You'd be surprised about people if you just show them you want to work to try and make something of yourself.

Work at a fast food joint or Subway. I've never heard of someone not being able to get a job because they are under 18.

McDonalds and Wendys hire 18 \ Not true. McDonalds hires at 14 around the country, mostly 16 though. I'm a manager though, so I know the rules. You can get a job at really any supermarket as well. You just can't be lazy; look around, call around go directly there.

I think there are all kinds of good ideas in this thread - mow lawns, shovel snow, do various lawn work jobs, flip burgers, work retail, etc.... They all involve leaving the house and going to work though.

If you're dedicated, you can make some good money recycling cans, plastic, and glass bottles. Just get some trash bags and start collecting them. This. A teacher in my school goes around at the end of every day collecting all the water bottles from the recycling bins, he made $38,000 from that alone last year.
