I've been trying to think of one gimmick/feud/tag team/etc. from the Attitude Era that could fit into today's TV...does anyone know of any? I guess for the most part Bret Hart could have, and he was around for part of the early Attitude Era. But, his not fitting in was one of the reasons he left.

Edge & Christian. Hardy Boyz. Stong. Fabulous Moolah. Taz. Kurt Angle. There's lots of things. Hardyz I agree, and post-Brood E&C. But, with all of the TLC matches I almost wanted to argue that it would have been too violent for say, the '80s...but, weapons were certainly used in the Hogan era, and are used now, so, I agree. Moolah, agreed as well, though with Mae things were often quite sexual. Tazz, agree, and Angle. Stong is an icon who could have excelled in any era.

I was gonna say Mae Young along with Moolah, but she was pretty raunchy. lmao. What about the tag team Lo Down? haha - anybody remember them?

... Most of the stuff that wasn't s*** back then would be considered appropriate for PG TV programming.

Most of the Attitude era was Stone Could drinking beer, sticking up the middle fingers, and DX making penis jokes.

Dont know how falling off a ladder through a table is more violent then driving a spike in someones skull or throwing fire in their face.

Most of the stuff from the attitude era wouldn't be considered very vulgar these days as a lot has changed on whats vulgar. TV show's these days make dick jokes, sexual references, and have as much cursing as the WWF did back then.

storyline wise there wasn't anything good that couldn't somehow be incorporated into today's programming but the wrestling often was more hardcore with a lot of blood, but it doesn't bother me so much that that's been toned down.
