Obvivously Shane McMahon was born into this business as the grandson of a legendary promoter and son of the man the changed the business as a whole. But his hard work and dedication makes him IMO a future Hall of Famer. Shane McMahon had some of the best matches at WWF/WWE PPVs he was featured on. Amazing classics vs. Vince, Kurt Angle, Kane etc.
The man was also a great athlete. Took bumps very nice, sold pretty well, even did an impressive shooting star press (onto a trash can) vs Angle at KOTR2001.
His on screen character with The Corporation to the fued with X-Punk for the European title then onto The Corporation Ministry was great. Was involved with serveral main events as a heel special ref. I know he was known for taking risk taking bumps but it takes balls to do so. I would love for WWE to make a dvd on him (hell Vince got one).
Great Matches like- vs Xpac for European gold vs Steve Blackman for the Hardcore title where he fell 60-70ft at Summerslam vs Vince at WM17 in a street fight vs Big Show at Backlash 2001 vs Kurt Angle in probably his greatest match vs Kane at Survivor Series vs Shawn Michaels at SNME in 2006 vs Orton at no way out etc.

His street fight with Kurt was incredible. I watched their commentary on the KOTR 2001 DVD and Kurt was trying to get him to stop since it didn't really work the first or second time (the glass spots), but Shane wanted him to do it again and keep doing it. That to me shows his determination to put on a great show. He had other great matches too, but this was, in my opinion his best and most memorable match.

Shane was awesome.
I think he knew that in order to get respect from the boys backstage and be viewed as being someone other than "Vince's kid" that he would have to work his butt off or take a beating like no other.
He did both.
