The Main Event~!
Phillip Schneider vs. David Brennan
Following a very successful Loaded last week for these two, it’s only appropriate that they make the main event. Somehow, Phillip Schneider found himself NOT under police custody after the damage he caused last week following his victory over Benja Hart. After brutalizing Hart and most of the behind the scenes staff, Schneider announced that he was more than happy to accept the match WFWF CEO Xavier Pierce announced earlier in the evening, Phillip Schneider versus Michael Kyzer for the WFWF Championship. As for David Brennan, following his close defeat to Drakz at Super Brawl VII, he got himself back on the right track by downing former WFWF Champion Thunder in rather spectacular fashion. This is going to be good.
WFWF International Championship Tournament
Round 1
Mak Cross vs. Thunder
Well, Mak Cross can’t seem to lose. He’s beaten just about everyone there is to beat in the WFWF so far aside from maybe Kyzer and Schneider. That makes him the perfect candidate to be in the WFWF International Championship tournament. And in this round, he gets Thunder, former WFWF International Champion, former WFWF Champion…you know, the works. Thunder, since Before The Devil, has won only one match, in that span losing his championship to Shawn Malakai and dropping to David Brennan last week. Old school versus new school. Bam.
WFWF International Championship Tournament
Round 1
Trace Demon vs. Hutton Brown
All that can describe this match is BLOCKBUSTER. Well, kind of. For Hutton Brown, pretty much see the description for Mak Cross, and just take out Schneider’s name as he handed him his first loss at Super Brawl. Trace Demon though is now in the hunt for his first ever WFWF International Championship en route to becoming only the fourth Grand Slam champion in WFWF history. He may have an advantage though, as Hutton Brown is preoccupied thanks to Xavier Pierce’s request for Hutton to drop his WFWF National Championship this week. Fireworks.
Singles Action
Cam Nitta vs. Ace Bennett
If memory serves right, Cam Nitta is undefeated, following a dominating victory over Reckless and company last week . He’s looking to extend that winning streak against Ace Bennett who at one time was the Streak Destroyer, is now in serious danger of losing his fifth straight match. Now there’s a streak that needs destroyed. Expect a dogfight down to the bitter end.
More Singles Action
Randel Benjamin vs. Oscar Conrad Davidson
While not pinned, Benjamin was on the losing side of his tag team match against Cam Nitta and The Bryan last week. However, as a result, he took a seriously nasty bump at the hands of The Bryan, messing up his head pretty mad it seemed. Oscar Conrad Davidson lost in a strong showing against Samael Ahriman last week, and for sure looks to take advantage of that injure and FINALLY win another match. Here we go.
Opening Contest
Ripp Jackson vs. Jackson Brooks
Ripp Jackson is debuting. Jackson Brooks is debuting. Wait, you mean to tell me that these two both debuted versus each other four years ago as The High Horror and The Cursed Eagle?! NO WAY! Ripp Jackson’s not a religious crazed lunatic and Jackson Brooks doesn’t think he’s a crazy birdman. (Well…we can hope, anyways.)
