Eugene tweeted that he's packing for a flight and the Royal Rumble is tomorrow. Could be bull, but worth noting. Do NOT want...  I'll be watching the Rumble at a friend's house so that should be fun. I just wish they built up more matches. I can't believe they would have only 2 matches and the Royal Rumble so it looks like we might get any combo of 2-3 unannounced title matches such as: Tag titles, Divas title, US title, and IC title.  |

I'm actually really pumped for the rumble this year, it's shaping up to be a great ppv. Would love to see Barrett win, I just don't know who he could face at Wrestlemania. It's a longshot, but a CM Punk vs. Barrett title match at Wrestlemania would be legendary. |

Cena vs Kane as well remember. My bad I forgot about that match. Just goes to show I don't care much about it.. I am really interested in seeing Dolph/Punk and the Triple Threat Cage match is okay to me as long as Bryan wins and hopefully moves on to Sheamus or Orton.. Still they need to add a mid card title match and make Beth's ass defend her title she has not on TV/PPV since TLC and that was more than a month ago.. |

I'm betting on Barrett winning and challenging Bryan for the title but Orton gets in so it's a Triple Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania

If you think about it, Wade Barrett could face either Daniel Bryan or CM Punk and it would make sense. He has history with both of them. Exactly. I just don't see how he would face Bryan considering Bryan's heel turn, unless Orton managed to get involved. |

Ever since 2005 I always get "Theres gonna be some trouble tonight, a very Royal Rumble thats right!" stuck in my head on Rumble day lol. Anyway, I hope Jericho wins tonight. Him vs. Punk is just too good to pass up. After The Rumble Jericho could have a little mini feud with HHH which leads to a match between the two at EC, which would end in a dq or Jericho going over. Then Punk should successfully defend his title at EC and bam, you got Jericho vs. Punk at WM.

So damn pumped for tonight, haven't been this excited for the Rumble since 2006.
Got the day off work tomorrow so I am staying up and watching this one live.
Enjoy it guys. May or may not pop into the RR thread to see what's 'appening.

Can't wait for the Rumble tonight live, With Kane/Cena, Bryan/Henry/Show in a Cage, Punk/Ziggler with Ace as Ref and a stacked Rumble this COULD be the best Rumble PPV ever and might top the 2001 Rumble.
With Christian and Del Rio most likely surprise entrants hopefully we can get some others, Taker? HHH? Nash? Cara? Rey? or even Rock to cost Cena? If these guys don't show up then expect them to be back soon on the road to WM.
My picks, Bryan, Punk, Kane/Cena ends in a screwjob and Jericho wins the Rumble.

If each of the matches on the undercard is given approximately a half hour, then I really doubt we see ANY other matches.

It's a good set, but some variety would be nice. I remember being disappointed when that arch-like SummerSlam set was used for three-sraight years. I think four years (counting tonight) of the same Rumble set is enough, and hopefully they'll change it up next year.

Yeah I get ya, it's just disappointing to me compared to say, the 06 set that was like a coliseum, or the 05 set with the back alley look, they've all been boring since then (except the always cool MSG mini-stage). |
