I absolutely hate the idea of Orton winning. It's unnecessary and unbelievably predictable.
He should be eliminated by his potential Mania opponent in his hometown, thus creating a nice and simple starting point for a big rivalry.

Looking forward tot hat match for sure. Hopefully Big Show isnt injured too bad. Also hope Henry is healed up. He seemed really limited on Smackdown.

My predictions:
Punk retains.
Trips returns.
Bryan retains. Someone's gonna fall through the ring.
Sheamus wins the Rumble. Barrett would be second choice.

I can see Henry and Big Show trying to climb up the cage, allowing Bryan to sneak through the door to get the win.

Great World Title match, great WWE Title match (both fairly unpredictable, it's got to be said), a nice Grudge match in Kane/ Cena, oh and the theme song isn't awful for a change. Now I eagerly await the announcement of the Rumble participants.

Here's an idea for an opener for the PPV: Primo & Epico vs. The Usos, winners get into the Rumble match. It'd be a nice, fast-paced opener I think. I'd want The Usos to win and thus start a feud with the Tag Team Champs as well as getting in to the Rumble.

Speaking for myself, one of the best wrestlers in the world (to my limited knowledge) as WWE World Champion is a good thing, and a big beast of a man coming to the ring attempting to dance (and failing), before destroying his opponent in 30 seconds, is more fun than a big beast of man playing the same monster Heel role that we've seen 1027 times before. |
