The Rock is expected to appear live on WWE programming for nearly every week beginning at the end of February to build to his WrestleMania 28 match with John Cena.

Can we get another Rock centered Raw, maybe a 'Thank you for gracing us with your presence again' Raw and Pitbull can perform and they can blow the Rock for 3 hours.

I didnt recall this being a Rock Hate Thread.. Maybe I read the title wrong...
Anyway, I doubt he'll appear live every week. I see him appearing via satellite, but let's hope he's there live. The hype for this match needs to be special.

Who's hating on Rock? Sounds to me like we think the Rock's Birthday Raw sucked balls. No one's hating on Rock.

Of course, this may or may not happen, as plans may or may not change.
I'm all for The Rock live.

Well he tweeted he couldn't wait to have fun with Jericho now that he's back too. So is Rock really back, more than just Cena? Will he work more programs? Time will tell.

According to Comingsoon.net, www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=85660 Rock is in negotations for a new film which would start filming in April. Plus GiJoe: Retaliation drops in June, so he'd be gone for a few months at least to promote that. He's not sticking around long after Mania.

I think the main way to look at this, is the same as Floyd Mayweather, Lawrence Taylor, or whoever else that had big bouts at Mania. Dwayne is a celebrity doing a celebrity match. When you think of it that way it takes away some of the bitterness at the fact that he's being paid 9 trillion dollars to main event WM when other guys on the roster who work the shows every night get paid not a small portion of that. But, wrestling and WWE have a strong history of doing that.

I kind of figured he'd be appearing regularly. It's tough to really put the finishing touches on the build up to this match without him actually being there.

But, wrestling and WWE have a strong history of doing that. You're missing the point. Yes, the Rock gets a big payday. But him appearing on the show only makes everyone else's payday that much bigger. Randy Orton even thanked the Rock in an interview because he knew his payday was substantially bigger because the Rock was advertised for WrestleMania XXVII. I have no problem with Punk but of course, Punk seems to think otherwise, but in reality the Rock is lining Punk's pocket as well.
