Like I said in my other posts.. First time i'm watching in months, but where is Hardy? Did he get injured last week or something? dunno.. but not everyone is on every week. unless you where one of the faces of Fear I don't know what those two did to be on nitro every damned week lol Its just that at this point Hardy is basically the face of TNA, and since its out of the USA and is a big show tonight its odd that he's not there tonight.

It was another great episode of Impact tonight, TNA's been on a good streak as of late, the booking has been good and they're really putting good emphasis on the championships. Also can't wait to see what develops further between Styles/Kaz/Daniels and Gail/Tara, this is a farcry from the TNA that was stinking up the industry last year.

Airs over here on Sunday, I'll catch the whole show then.
Saw the Gail/Tara fight on YouTube, thought it was great! I've missed that stuff from woman's wrestling.

Show was pretty decent this week. Just wish they didn't have the Hogan/Garrett/Eric thing going on, cause I feel it's the weakest part of the program atm.

- I'm sort of torn with how they did the main event. I like that they drew a line between Bully and Roode, because obviously they are in a match against each other and Bully wants to win as well, but they still let a 53 year old Sting submit the top guy in the company. Not something I would have done personally. - Austin Aries vs Shelley vs Williams was entertaining. Shelley winning tells me Aries wins on Sunday though. Should be a good match regardless. Shelley needs to calm down in the ring. He has always been overly theatrical but last night felt like a lot. - I really enjoyed the promo from Magnus, and I like that they went with the home town thing. I thought the segment was really well done and I like Joe pulling him out of the ring. I am desperately hoping Morgan and Crimson end up costing themselves the titles. - Mickie vs Velvet was meh. I just don't think Velvet should be in the ring and Mickie wore those ing shorts again. Wasn't terrible, but wasn't any combination of Mickie/Gail/Tara/Madison good. - Enjoyed Daniels vs AJ. I'm sure Daniels will add that win to his imaginary list of accomplishments his character has been boasting recently. Him not just throwing the knucks out of the ring kind of made me laugh. Still not really sure where it's going with Kaz. ... and Eric and Garrett Bischoff and the "Immortal" Hulk Hogan. FML. This is the only segment that continually brings down TNA. I know Mickie James called out Hogan for calling Garrett the future of the business, but I hope she isn't the only one that stands their ground on the subject. Nobody ing cares about the Bischoffs in TNA. I honestly am of the belief that nobody cares about Hulk Hogan in TNA at this point. TNA has a lot of really good things going on right now, and if Dixie would let everything Bischoff and Hogan just walk away, the product would be better for it. The angle is embarrassing, the Bischoff's are embarrassing and Hulk Hogan is at rock bottom embarrassing imo. Just stop wasting the money. You have statistical proof that Hogan and crew has done NOTHING to warrant the money spent on their salaries, wake up. End rant. Decent episode but I hate that the moment with Hogan was so disappointing.

My dad decided to record Impact for the first time in what has to be years, I've watched a "full" episode of TNA. And it didn't suck. It wasn't great, it was pretty average. Now, I quoted full because my DVR didn't account for overrun so I missed the latter half of the main event. Didn't enjoy what I've seen from the main event, so I didn't bother to check it online. My quick thoughts...
Opening Segment was good. Ray & Roode have always been good on the mic so I enjoyed it. Sting didn't annoy me that much either. Didn't like the whole thing were they go on the ramp, stop talking and go into the ring to talk. Kind of wish they talked on the ramp for a little bit longer, think it would've worked better. Took away from how pissed Ray was suppose to be that he pretty much instantly agreed to be quiet until they both entered the ring again.
Daniels vs. Styles was disappointing, I was probably expecting too much though. It was good and built on the angle (which TNA did a good job filling me in on) nicely.
Magnus gave one hell of a promo. Might've been my favorite part of the show, it was a really enjoyable promo.
The X-Division triple threat was really entertaining. First time seeing Austin Aries compete and he really stole the match. The low blow spot was great. Also, Shelley got me to laugh, the way he sold one move was just funny to me. Best match easily.
The Hogan/Bischoff segment was incredibly boring.
The KO's match ... honestly I think the Diva's could pull off a match like this, and better, if giving the time. The match was a little less than decent, I was more into the commentary and Mickie James attire (particularly the shorts) than the match.
Other random thoughts ... all the backstage segments sucked except for the Roode/Ray one. The theme songs were bad and really sounded the same to me. A few did stand out though, and that's a minor complaint.
