emphasis on "your",as everyone has their own thoughts and feelings on this...but i'd love to know what everyone thinks are the biggest pops they've seen in all their years of watching wrestling...my list:
1) The Rock vs Hollywood Hogan - WrestleMania X8 : just a ridiculously crazy reaction for Hogan....
2) Mankind vs The Rock - Raw is War : as others have said in another thread,when Autin comes out,and Foley wins the title,it's nonstop mayhem with the crowd....
3) Austin interrupts WWF Championship Ceremony - Raw is War : Austin comes out on a Zamboni and attacks McMahon....
4) Austin confronts Mike Tyson - Raw is War : enough said!
5) Goldberg wins WCW Championship - Monday Nitro:
6) John Cena Returns - Royal Rumble 2008 : a complete surprise...

I feel this often goes overlooked: Plus, you have almost every crowd reaction from One Night Stand 1 and 2. My personal favorite might be the famous fake Bret Hart return . The crowd went crazy and so did I in my living room!
And most recently you have C.M Punk's entrance as MITB and the entire match.

IMO........the biggest Pop ever is for Austin on Jan 4 99 at MSG.its so loud you cant even hear lawler and cole properly......absolutely unreal.
fast forward to 10.00
then his return at backlash 2000-also massive

That was the pop that never stopped. Speaking of that...remember when Hogan returned in red & yellow on Smackdown and got a standing ovation for like 10 minutes? Add that to the list. |

These are the 2 biggest pops I ever heard in person.
1. I went to a Smackdown taping in Feb. 2001. They taped Sunday Night Heat first. The very first guy to come out was Undertaker and it had to be the loudest pop I've ever heard. I still remember it to this day some 11 years later. What a way to kick off the show. Taker rarely if ever was in the opening match of the evening. Oddly enough he fought Edge that night, 7 years before their WM showdown.
2. Hulk Hogan's surprise return to Smackdown Jan. 2003. The place was literally shaking and the pop lasted almost 20 minutes. Say what you want about Hogan, but on that night he was the man.
As far as on TV, when Austin comes out during the Mankind/Rock match where Foley wins the belt the first time. I wish the crowds were like that now.

I'm going to give a shout out to Zack Ryder at Survivor Series 2011. Sure, it's no where near the biggest pop, but it was loud as hell in the garden when his music hit.

Agree with that one, that whole show was filled with good pops, Ziggler, Rhodes, Rock and Punk all got great pops aswell as Ryder |

I've been to Raws where I couldn't hear Vince talk and at Survivor Series I couldn't hear what Johnny Ace was saying either. DX was pretty bad back in the day too. |

I remember when Monday Night Raw would start with glass breaking and a Stone Cold promo for WEEKS and WEEKS in a row and it never got old to the crowd. They ate it up.

Its obviously not "High Quality" and its not in an arena with 60 thousand people but you can just tell that the place went crazy and unlike most pops during the attitude eras this lasted a good few minutes not just a quick thing. Also there isnt any theme music which to me gives false sense of just how loud a crowd is.
