Didn't Rowdy Roddy Piper say on twitter that Savage slapped Vince at a bar?

I have never believed the rumor one bit. I mean seriously, if Savage slept with Stephanie, and an underage Steph at that, don't you think Vince would have been able to just completely ruin Randy's life, beyond, a ban in the WWE world?

This is my favorite wrestling conspiracy theory/rumor of all time. My theory (of course just a theory) is that he made a pass at Steph and the rumor snowballed to what we hear now. I think if Savage did do the deed with her, McMahon would've kicked his ass or sent him to jail, especially after he jumped ship.
I find the Hogan holding him back plausible, although there are some problems with the theory, mainly most in the industry are completely open about Hogan holding them back at one point or another. When many wrestlers are asked about the situation, they just dont answer. Its common knowledge that there was a feud between the two, so its not like that would be any new information if Hogan was forcing Vince to abstain from uttering Macho Man on TV.
I find it odd that many just don't want to talk about it. In my opinion it seems as though wrestlers in the know are a bit reluctant to talk about it for fear of getting blacklisted themselves, which makes me think its more than just Hogan holding Savage back.
Finally, I think his Non-Induction into the HOF speaks volumes. To have such a notable name missing from the Hall without an outright reason is fishy, especially since Hogan has been out of the picture since 2009. I doubt Hogan was still telling Vince to blackball Savage when he was in TNA.

I'm not sure how I feel about the Hogan theory. The Stephanie thing has always seemed a little bit ridiculous, but if it turns out it was consensual and Vince found out years after the fact what was he going to do but be mad? I don't think the Hogan thing is that big of a stretch but then I don't see why other wrestlers wouldn't talk about it? That's really the only issue I see with that logic. Vince didn't hold a serious grudge with any of his major stars jumping ship that he didn't eventually get over. Nash and Hogan definitely stand out as guys who came and went with open arms. Maybe he was closer to Randy so he took it more personal, I don't know, but this is sort of the "who shot Kennedy" of professional wrestling.

Maybe he was closer to Randy so he took it more personal, I don't know, but this is sort of the "who shot Kennedy" of professional wrestling. It still just seems weird that they've waited SO long to induct Macho, and they waited until he was dead to do it (if he is going in this year). I think he is definitly going in this year, but to see him bypassed year after year for people like Bob Armstrong, Koko B Ware and their joke celebrity category, you gotta wonder what was up. Vince is a businessman, and over the past 10 years he has worked with people who have screwed him financially, people who have physically assaulted him, and people who were trying to run the WWF out of business. It just seems exceptionally odd that Vince had waited that long to cash in on Macho Man merchandise, and even weirder that he wasn't honored by the HOF up until this point. This leads me to believe it was something personal, not business related, that drove him to blackball him from the industry.

Also, punksnotdead, I dont know if you've heard this shoot with Macho Man's brother, but its pretty damn interesting. "I don't have the balls to ask my brother" and "if you are a wrestling fan on the internet you already know" are pretty relevant statements....

(skip to around 1:30) I've never heard that, thank you for sharing. That is really interesting. I'm wondering, especially from what he said at the end, if he knows and just wanted Randy to be the one that came out and said it. He implies that the internet got it right, which, is he referring to Stephanie or his real life feud with Hogan? I don't know how to interpret that really.

The thing about not having balls to ask him makes me believe it has to do with Stephanie and not Hulk. I cant see why he wouldn't have the balls to ask about if he had a feud with Hogan (which everyone already knows he did). I can see him not having balls asking about a potential statutory rape, however. Just my 2 cents, but we will probably never know.

I hung out with JJ Dillon at a convention a few years back and told me that he too was on the Black List with Randy and a few others. He didn't mention anything about the Steph rumor.
Honestly, I just don't believe it.

This was 3 years ago...Jakks couldn't get a Legends deal with him at the time and he was unsure as to what he had done.
