I've seen this been brought up on here before but I just wanna know, is it actually true? we will never know.but one things for sure....whatever Savage did he was viewed in an unforgivable light.even Bischoff and Russo went to work for Mcmahon again.......but Savage was on the blacklist for so long. one thing it WASNT:Savage leaving.this theory is utter nonsense because Vince gave him his blessing to leave and even gave him an on air farewell. whatever it was.......it happened/came to light after Savage left, because as i say Vince gives him an on air farewell when he left.

Yeah it seems like it was something which(if it was true) was let out after he left for WCW and I have also seen the farewell which was honest and very polite, so thanks for the quick reply also.

no sweat man. yes Vinces goodbye was genuinely heartfelt it seems.Savage asked him to resume wrestling shortly before SSlam 94 and Vinnie and he had a long chat about where he was headed with Titan. Savage felt he could still contribute and had Vinces 100% blessing leaving.Vince knew where he was headed because Savage told him Turner had rolled out the welcome mat. like I say....whatever it was was ing DEEP.Flair,Cornette and many others have claimed to know what it was in shoots and refuse to talk about it with nervous looks on their faces. it fascinates me to be honest.

This. Macho Man probably had or wanted to have a three way with Stephanie and Linda.

whatever it was,it was bad enough to put him on "Vince McMahon's Blacklist of Death" ,of which only a few individuals are on (basically meaning he will never, ever work with you again) :
Lex Luger - for having a handshake/verbal deal with Vince to stay with the WWF,only to very shortly thereafter jump to WCW on a Monday, when he had wrestled a house show for the WWF the night before.... Cornette has said in the past this hurt Vince deeply,as it was one of the first times someone had screwed him over like this...honestly,it's possible the anger has softened a bit over the past few years as Luger was allowed to be at the HOF Ceremony this past year, and his working with the WWE with their Wellness Policy stuff...
Madusa Miceli / Alundra Blaze - for the basically unforgivable betrayal of not resigning with the WWF,and taking the WWF Women's Championship belt to a live WCW Monday Nitro and throwing it in the trash on air....repurcussions included the title being inactive for 3 years, and making Vince so paranoid,it led to the Montreal Screwjob where the WWF higher-up's were afraid Bret Hart could take the WWF World Title to WCW as well...
Jef Jarrett - for holding Vince up for money, and starting his competition. it was no big secret in Oct. 1999 that Jarrett was leaving for WCW. unhappy that his push into the main event against Austin was vetoed by Stone Cold himself, Vince knew Jeff wasn't resigning with the WWF. what he DIDN'T expect was that Jarrett would arrive at the arena and refuse to drop the IC Title to Chyna unless he was paid a certain amount of dollars before the match.needless to say,Vince paid him,but was royally pissed off,and the name Jeff Jarrett became persona non grata in the WWF from that point foward. didn't help when, after the fall of WCW, Jarrett started up TNA to compete against the WWE.
Scott Hall - for showing up unable to work. time after time it seems Vince gave Scott a chance, even paying for his rehab. but i guess he fell off the wagon one time too many, and Vince apparently says he won't ever bring him back again, Hell, even even told mattel he won't authorize a Razor/Hall Legends/Throwback figure! that's harsh! even Luger and Savage got those!!
...so whatever it was that Savage did,it had to be something that personally hurt Vince...professional differences,he can usually put aside if it furthers his company and has the potential to make money (see: Hulk Hogan,Ric Flair,Eric Bischoff,Scott Steiner,Steve Austin,The Rock,Kevin Nash,Sean Waltman,Ted Dibiase, Bret Hart,etc.)...though it's kinda interesting to see that near the end of Savage's life, the "betrayal" softened enough for Vince to allow Savage figures and a DVD set to be made...
do i believe it's possible Savage boinked Stephanie? absolutely! a lot of these guys like to party, mix some alcohol, drugs, and a young girl into the mix,and perhaps they wer both feeling a littel "lonely" that night...besides,i've heard some stories that, contrary to the "innocent young woman" Stephanie played during her initial WWF appearances, she was quite the wild child in college...
on a side note, that Gorgeous George snippet might be a bit revealing too - it mentions that Savage wanted a 3-way with her sister, who was 17 at the time...wellif the Steph-Savage tryst happened in 1993 or 1994,she would've been around 17 at the time...also,Miss Elizabeth was barely out of her teens when she met Savage in ICW....Savage apparently like em young!!

I think in Bret Hart's book he mentions Savage originally agreed to stay and then called Vince late one night drunk and told him he was leaving.

I think in Bret Hart's book he mentions Savage originally agreed to stay and then called Vince late one night drunk and told him he was leaving. whatever hard feelings there was over Savage leaving had obviously subsided though because Vince gave him a farewell on TV. had to be something Vince found out about after he left,or something he did after he left.

Lex Luger has worked for WWE recently, he did something to do with the wellness policy, he was a playable character on smackdown vs raw 2011 so I'm guessing Luger has made peace with McMahon, and Madusa was interviewed recently on WWE.com.
All wrestlers who are asked about this in shoot interviews etc have said that they never heard any rumour about it while they worked there or around the time savage left, it's only a rumour that's come about over the last few years, and this is from some of the bitter wrestlers who love to bury WWE. Plus if I remember correctly savage and WWE were negotiating in late 90's after savage left WCW but savage was asking for too much money so the deal fell through.

I still think it has more to do with Hogan-Savage then McMahon-Savage. Almost the second Hogan-Savage problems arose, Savage-McMahon problems came up. I just cant see it being anything about Stephanie, 1)Because it would have gotten out by now and Savage would have done time. 2)Anyone with a daughter knows you dont continue to employ someone that slept with your underage daughter and 3)You certainly dont remember him "fondly" in any respects if he slept with/ raped your daughter.
To me, its all about Hogan-Savage. Savage blames Hogan for everything, Hogan blackballs Savage from WWE. As soon as Hogan more or less cut ties with WWE, Savage was being brought up again.

Guys........Macho Man did NOT bang Stephanie McMahon.
The reason Macho Man Randy Savage was "Black Listed" by WWE for so long was because Hulk Hogan wanted it that way.
We know there was always so much personal and professional jealousy between Hogan and Savage, and when WCW went out of business and Hogan went back to work for WWE, he wanted Savage basically treated like he never existed. That's why there was no merchandise, no figures, his matches were never on DVD's, he was never mentioned on TV....because that's how Hogan wanted it.
Even after Hogan stopped wrestling for WWE, he remained under a merchandise contract and would only agree to come back and promote WWE, but it was always his condition with McMahon that he never does business with Savage again.
Then ALL OF A SUDDEN after McMahon and Hogan have a little falling out and Hogan goes to TNA.....wow what a coincidence (NOT) that WWE starts pumping out Macho Man Randy Savage merchandise in FULL FORCE. DVD's, video games, action figures, mentioning him on television.
So we can finally put to be the "banged Stephanie McMahon" rumors.......Savage was black listed because Hogan told McMahon that he had to choose either him or Savage and McMahon chose Hogan....now that Hogan is in TNA, McMahon is promoting Savage to try and spite Hogan.

If it was that bad, wouldn't Hogan have pulled that move in WCW?

And like I said, why did WWE lift their "ban" on Macho Man at the EXACT same time Hogan was joining TNA? It's a little obvious to me.

Savage definatly did NOT do anything w/ Steph. If he did, it would have gotten out long ago and the guy would have done some jail time. He even did an interview back in 1999 or 2000 saying that he was open to negotiating w/ Vince, so obviously the Steph thing never happened or he wouldn't have mentioned that.
Even though McMahon gave him a fare well on TV, I've heard that McMahon was always hurt by the fact that Savage left for WCW during a time when the WWF was hurting financially. The whole steroid scandal had hurt the WWF's popularity big time, and Vince had lost alot of investors. When Randy left, he took the Slim Jim sponsorship w/ him, and Vince felt betrayed since him and Savage had such a close relationship. Just what I've heard.
The Hogan thing is plausable, but I doubt it. When Hogan returned in 2002, he didn't have much say in the back anymore. Even a few years later when he was in the HOF and on Vince's good side, he still didn't have much say backstage like he did in his hey day. The only time he really had say was threatening not to show up to his matches w/ Orton and HBK unless he won them. I find it hard to believe that Hogan would be the sole reason why Savage was never mentioned in the WWE until recently.

I'm pretty sure if anything had happened with Stephanie when she was underage, it would have been worse than him just being barred from WWE.
not to mention the fact that they'd made peace before he died. He even did videos to promote his figure and the all stars game.
I know Piper mentioned once that Savage slapped Vince in a public place not too long before he left and felt that was a lot of it.
Also, Savage went really crazy there for a while making claims that he was bigger than Hogan and so on. I imagine a lot of them not working together during that period was on him.
But I don't think WWE ever really black balled him. I remember him being mentioned from time to time and being used on DVD releases when it was appropriate. It's not like thy totally erased him from history. He just never returned like people thought he would/should.
we'll probably never really know the full story about what happened, but whatever it was I'm quite confident the Stephanie story is bunk.

Hogan isnt that important but money is and whether people like it or not Hulk Hogan, Hulkamania, Hulkster and everything that goes along with it makes McMahon and WWE A LOT more money then Savage ever could/would. If you have two business partners and one tells you to drop the other and you'll make twice as much money as you were before, then you'd be a fool not to do it. Its business. All's fair in business.

When WWF did the Hukster, Nacho Man WCW parody around early 1996 one of the skits mentions the word "disloyal" while Nacho Man is being shown on the skit so maybe it has a lot to do with Savage leaving for WCW when Vince may have expected him to stay loyal or not continue the slim jim deal with WCW.

i've been watching a lot of Raw shows from 1997 and one of them was advertising a show looking back at previous SummerSlam's. Macho was featured heavily in the advertising and if Savage had had an illicit affair with Steph, then i doubt he would ever be mentioned again.
Also i doubt he would be featured in video games, had action figures etc if it was the case.
It's possible that Macho may have priced himself out of previous merchandising deals.
One more thing how does everyone know that he was blacklisted? Has someone come out and said it?
