Whenever I heard about this company, I thought it'd be a good idea for a sim. Glad you're doing it, Ham!

Glad this is back Hammers. Some good choices there. Dunno about Raven, hopefully he only wrestles part time. Cabana is great and could really be the big face of the promotion. I'm unsure on Generico and Steen, I love them both but I don't think I'd like they're feud continuing over here. Try and keep them seperate. Liking Da Soul Touchas, hopefully you build up a good tag divison UP IN SMOKE PLZ! Necros another decent add, I'd book him as face as hes more effective. Good luck and keep this up.
Edit: You added just as I was writing. Finlay's f'n awesome to have as a grizzlt vet. Meh at Cliff. PAC yeh. I know you like Broady so he'll do well. Chuck, Gargano and Swann? Roin baby! Liking it, push them to the moon. And PAC vs. Swann is a must. DCFC is another good add to build up the tag division.

11/25/11 Show Preview
Resistance Pro World Championship Semi-Final Tournament: Kevin Steen vs Fit Finlay
Resistance Pro World Championship Semi-Final Tournament: Mike Quackenbush vs Colt Cabana
Tag Team Match: Los Hombres Gravity Forgot vs Super Smash Brothers
Six Man Tag Team Match: Da Soul Touchaz vs RONIN
Singles Match: Jigsaw vs TJ Perkins
Singles Match: Sara Del Rey vs Jessie McKay
Singles Match: Cliff Compton vs Necro Butcher
- Resistance Pro's debut show will feature two semi-final tournament matches to declare the inaugural Resistance Pro World Champion. The four participants will be Kevin Steen, Fit Finlay, Mike Quackenbush and Mike Quackenbush. The winner from each match will move on to the championship match at next months show.
- On our website, El Generico & PAC announced the formation of a brand new tag team, "Los Hombres Gravity Forgot, or L.H.G.F for short. This debut team will be in action as they face the 8-bit luchadores, Player Uno and Player Dos of the Super Smash Brothers.
- Chuck Taylor, Rich Swann and Johnny Gargano have taken DragonGate USA by storm but as they head to a new company, they come face to face with Chicago's own Da Soul Touchaz. Acid Jaz, Marshe Rockett and Willie Richardson look to make the home crowd happy by defeating the cocky RONIN stable.
- Two of North America's finest Jr Heavyweights do battle in this first time meeting as "The youngest veteran in pro wrestling" TJ Perkins takes on Chikara fan favourite, Jigsaw.
- No female wrestlers have been added to the full time roster as of yet, and these ladies want to prove why they deserve the spots. Sara Del Rey is no stranger to competing in the ring with the guys, but on this night, she'll do battle with Australian native, Jessie McKay. McKay and Del Rey are no strangers to each other and have faced many times in SHIMMER. These ladies are going to prove that woman's wrestling doesn't peak at what you see on a Monday night.
- "Mr 1859" Cliff Compton has become pretty popular in recent months thanks to his appearances on Colt Cabana's Art of Wrestling podcast. So much so that Resistance Pro boss, Billy Corgan called Cliff personally to bring him in. Cliff requested a tough opponent to show Chicago that he isn't just a guy living in the 50's and we've gave it to him with Deathmath icon, Necro Butcher.

Liking the first show card. Finlay/Steen should be a good brawl, Steen should easily advance. Quack/Colt should be a scentific wrestling fans dream. Can see Colt winning here. Hoping you keep it kinda realistic and don't book Quack too much esp in singles. Tag team match should be mental, Generico and PAC teaming is wickedly awesome. Six man tag should be good too, RONIN BABY! hopefully Chuckie T and Gargano get some good single wins as well. Jig/TJ should be like a light heavyweight version of Colt/Quack (in a good way) Del Ray should kill all female oppenents. Hoping Necro kills Cliff. Good luck and please keep this up.

Resistance Pro #1 11/25/11 – Chicago, Illinois
1. Matt Cross beat Jigsaw, & TJ Perkins (14:32) with a Shooting Star Press on Jigsaw. 2. Necro Butcher beat Cliff Compton (00:12) with a Tiger Driver 3. Sara Del Rey beat Jesse McKay (08:55) with a Royal Butterfly 4. RONIN beat Da Soul Touchaz (10:03) with Rich Swann hitting a 450 Splash on Acid Jaz 5. Resistance Pro Heavyweight Title Semi Final: Colt Cabana beat Mike Quackenbush (17:46) with the Billy Goat’s Curse 6. Los Hombres Gravity Forgot beat Super Smash Brothers (13:14) with El Generico hitting the Brain Buster on Player Dos 7. Resistance Pro Heavyweight Title Semi Final: Kevin Steen beat Fit Finlay (19:58) with a Tombstone Piledriver
- The inaugural show for Resistance Pro gets underway with Jr Heavyweight action as Jigsaw was scheduled to take on TJ Perkins in singles action. Before the bell rang, with both men in the ring, another theme song played over the PA System as Matt Cross appeared through the curtain. Matt played the heel, talking about gate crashing the party because he certainly hasn’t been booked. The crowd start a fun “You weren’t Tough Enough” chant which annoys Cross where he asks where Silent Rage is now days. Cross asks the two men, if they have the balls, to make the match a 3-way Dance, to which they oblige.
- The Opening match, now a 3-Way Dance saw Jigsaw, TJ Perkins, & Matt Cross do battle in a fast paced Jr. Heavyweight action. The crowd were really in to the action, and it truly was a great way to kick off Resistance Pro. The Finish to the match eventually arrived with Jigsaw hitting the super kick on TJ Perkins, and going for the pinfall attempt only for Matt Cross to come off the top rope with the Shooting Star Press, crashing on top of both Jigsaw and TJ Perkins. Perkins rolled out of the ring in pain allowing Cross to get the three count on Jigsaw.
- “Mr 1859” Cliff Compton seemed far too cocky for a man being opposite the ring of Necro Butcher. Before the bell had even rang, Cliff ran down Necro as a s**tty death match wrestler who doesn’t know wrist lock from a wrist watch. Necro paid no attention to Compton’s remarks and when the bell rang with Compton offering a hand shake in the middle of the ring, claiming he’d go easy on Necro. Necro swung a right hand so deadly, it bounced off Cliff’s jaw, and sent him down to the canvas. Compton quickly got back up to his feet, but was clearly dazed and walked straight in to a Tiger Driver from Necro, picking up the three count, just over ten seconds.
- The ladies of pro wrestling get to show their stuff as the most dominant female wrestler in wrestling; Sara Del Rey took on the Australian sensation, Jesse McKay. These two women are no strangers to each other, as they’ve met several times in SHIMMER and they put on a pretty fun near ten minute match. The finish arrived with Jesse McKay diving off the top rope, looking to connect with the cross body, but Del Rey caught her and rather amazingly turned it in to the Royal Butterfly lock before slamming her down with the Butterfly suplex and picking up the victory via pinfall.
- Six-Man Tag action now as Chicago’s own Marshe Rockett, Acid Jaz, & Willie Richardson of Da Soul Touchaz went up against Dragon Gate USA faction, RONIN, consisting of Chuck Taylor, Johnny Gargano, & Rich Swann. The crowd were heavily behind the hometown boys tonight but it wasn’t enough as the dirty tactics of RONIN allowed them to pick up the victory following a 3-way finisher on Acid Jaz where Chuck Taylor first hit him with Sole Food, followed by a slingshot spear from the apron by Johnny Gargano, allowing Rich Swann to jump of the top rope with the 450 Splash to pick up the victory for RONIN.
- The first Semi-Final Heavyweight Championship match got underway in a technical showcase as Chikara founder, Mike Quackenbush took on World of Sport enthusiast, Colt Cabana. The match was slow paced for most of it but the crowd were really in to it, appreciating the science of pro-wrestling that both men were showing off. The decider of the match arrived with Quack taking a nasty knee bump on the apron, allowing Cabana to go old school with a Bret Hart inspired Figure Four Leg Lock across the turnbuckle. Quack never recovered from the leg abuse and eventually had to tap out to the Billy Goat’s Curse attempt from Cabana.
- PAC & El Generico who formed an alliance, calling themselves Los Hombres Gravity Forgot got a big reaction when they came down to the ring to do battle against the equally fun, Player Uno & Player Dos of the Super Smash Brothers. This may have been the match of the night of a pretty strong card, with a lot of near falls and cool spots. The finish to the match eventually arrived with Player Dos, and El Generico doing battle on the top rope. Dos took lead and got in to position for the B13, only for Generico to battle back and jump of the turnbuckle, and destroying Dos with the Brain Buster, Dos’ head bouncing off the top turnbuckle. At the same time, Pac dived over the ropes, taking out Player Uno, allowing Generico to get the three count over Player Dos to give Los Hombres the victory.
- Following the bout, Jon Davis and Cory Chavis of the Dark City Fight Club rolled in to the ring, Davis delivering a sick boot to the jaw of El Generico. PAC tried to get back in to the ring to help his friend but Chavis speared him from the apron, sending PAC crashing in to the barricade. Dark City Fight Club then turned their full attention back to El Generico where they delivered their sickening finisher, the Dark City Power Bomb. They leave as the crowd boo them for putting a damper on an awesome match.
- The main event of the evening had arrived with perhaps the biggest name in indy wrestling right now, Kevin Steen taking on the legendary Fit Finlay in the second Heavyweight Title Semi Final match. The crowd were in to both men, though Steen was clearly playing the heel. This match was equally as impressive as the earlier Semi Final match but for various different reasons. Finlay and Steen didn’t have a very scientific match but they did beat the holy hell out of each other. There was a portion of the match where both men just delivered stiff European Uppercuts to each other before Steen had had enough and drop kicked the knee of Finlay, sending him down to one knee, and following it up with a sick DDT. The two men continued to do battle, and at one point, Finlay even dropped Steen with an old finisher from years past, the Tombstone Piledriver, but Steen was too close to the ropes, and grabbed hold to the break the pinfall attempt. The match continued and eventually came to an end with Steen attempting the Package Piledriver, but Finlay refused to be lifted, keeping all of his momentum on the ground. Finlay escaped from the position and again went for another Tombstone Piledriver attempt. This time, Steen used the momentum in his weight to shift backwards and counter the move in to his own Tombstone Piledriver, dropping the British legend on his head, hard in to the canvas. This was enough to give Steen the victory and it was made official that at the next show, Kevin Steen will face Colt Cabana for the Resistance Pro Heavyweight Championship.

Bit sad Cross was added to the match, TJ/Saw had potential to be great and a great start of the company. Like how you write the talking segments into the match up. Necro gets a good win. Finish to the womens match sounded great. Epic combo by Ronin, hopefully that launches thier singles career here. Really cool to see Colt go over, like I said before I hope you dont want Quack to do singles too much. Colt could be an amazing first champ. PAC and Generico sound like an epic team though I would like to see them in singles. DCFC attack post match sets up a good tag match. Good long write up on the main event, the tombstone story runnuing though it was good and set up the finish nicley. Steen would also make a great first champ, I really dont mind who takes home the title next show. Good luck and please keep this up.

Good line up for the next show. Obviously Cabana/Steen stands out and should be spectacular. PAC/Generico/DCFG makes sense after the last show. The rest of the card seems very singles orintated, I would have liked another tag match. Swann/TJP seems like a good match, although anything with TJP gets a good rating from me. Necro/Finlay seems like an odd mix but a good match. Gargano/Jig should be a good match too. Taylor should easily win his match and I expect Cross to win his match. Good luck and do keep this up Hammers.

I've never heard of the promotion but this type of stuff does sound like a good idea for a diary. It's off to a solid start and you've got a solid roster to work with. Hopefully Steen wins the belt at the next show. The write-ups are fun and there isn't a whole lot to complain about. Hopefully you can keep this going.

Resistance Pro #1 Excited to see how you book this. I've always enjoyed this layout, too. “You weren’t Tough Enough.” Amazing chant. Good opening contest and Matt Cross with the win is fine, I suppose. Necro Butcher destroying Cliff Compton was some nice filler. Glad to see some of the woman get on the card. Del Rey going over McKay was the right call. The six man tag match up next is great. RONIN picking up the win was obvious, but it was a good match anyway. I'm actually surprised to see Quackenbush lose to Cabana here. I'm not sure how I feel about that, but I love Colt, so it's alright I suppose. Los Hombres Gravity Forgot is already my favorite team because of Generico. I excepted them to go over, it was the right thing to do. Main event with Steen and Finlay is amazing, but I prefer Steen in 2012, so him going on to face Cabana next show is great. Show pretty much had zero booking flaws, and there were some decent matches too. Solid debut show.
