I never understood what the point of having legends enter the rumble is. I mean, come on. Everyone know's they're not gonna win. Pure nostalgia. Plus I think with past entrants that have showed up, it makes people want to tune in to see who's gonna show up. I mean people went crazy when RVD, Kevin Nash, Booker T and guys like that entered. I guess I'm just looking at it from a selling perspective.

Mick Foley vs Dolph Ziggler would be great.
Anything to do with Mick Foley is great. He's my 2nd favourite wrestler of all time though, so maybe I'm slightly biased. He looked old in the ring last night.. and a hardcore match in the PG era might not be quite as good.. but maybe WWE would lighten up a bit for Wrestlemania...?
Anyway, the rub Ziggler would get off of Foley would be huge.

Am I the only one that thinks Ziggler vs. Foley would be terrible?
"Look what it did for Orton!"
"Look what it did for Edge!"
Look at the shape Foley was in on Monday.. I'm all for Foley cutting some promos and making a random appearance at the Rumble..
But for a rising star in Ziggler to have to take on a clearly out of shape and older Foley at Mania.. Is not a testament to Dolph's talent..

I was thinking the same thing. I'd love it if Ziggler beat Punk, while Foley won the Rumble. Then Ziggler could face Foley and Punk could face Jericho. That's actually exactly what I was thinking last night. That would pretty much be the ideal situation, IMO. Foley winning the Rumble? That doesn't make much sense at this stage. You could still have both of those matches. Just have Punk win over Ziggler (Foley screws Ziggler), and then Jericho wins the Rumble (Ziggler interrupts Rumble, eliminates Foley). I'd like to see it go down like that. A Ziggler and Foley feud reminds me of the Orton and Foley feud from 2004. Look how much of an impact that had on Orton's career. Was thinking the same thing.

i predict ziggler eliminates foley from the rumble then foley costs ziggler the match, setting up their mania match.

Well now that Evan Bourne has been suspended Foley can take his spot in the Rumble.

Mick Foley may not but Cactus Jack, Mankind and Dude Love might be a part of it.

Mick Foley can barely walk down the ramp anymore. I really don't have much interest in seeing him wrestle.

Foley wants to work with Ziggler and/or The Miz. He won't return until he gets back into shape. So if he returns for the Royal Rumble, it will probably be very brief... we all saw how out of shape he was.
I think Ziggler will eliminate him and somehow embarrass him in the Rumble match to plant seeds for a later match.

I'm sure the WWE remembers how much Foley helped Orton and Edge's careers... so why not bring him in to do the same for their next number 1 star? Ziggler seems like he'd be one helluva hardcore worker btw. He sells the poop out of everything. Im seeing the Hardcore match thing happening too. At first everyone assumed The Miz would get that spot but now its pretty obvious that if Foley does the Hardcore match with anyone at mania it will be Ziggler. I just hope Mick gets into decent shape beforehand. He looked heavy as hell on Raw, id say bigger then he has in his whole career. But either way i see the match being pretty good.

maybe it will lead to a match between foley and ziggler, but maybe it wont go further than Punk & Foley vs Ziggler & Laurinitus (Title vs GM Position)

There is still lots of time for Foley to get in shape for WrestleMania. If he can do so, I'd be up for a Foley/Ziggler match at Mania.

If they are gonna have him in a Mania match, which seems ultra likely after monday, I can see Foley begin working out and training now, appear quickly at the Rumble, and then getting in ring shape for Mania.

He could take Dolph's place in the Rumble, whether or not Dolph Ziggler is in it or not.

Doesn't mean Foley will do anything with Ziggler. Might have just been them having Ziggler talk him down like he doesn't deserve it.
Remember the Rumble last year when Nash and Big Show had that stare down in the isle and everyone predicted they would have a match at the following 5 PPV's? Yeah.....nothing ever came of it.
After touting Ziggler as the guy who beats World Champions week after week after week....having him start a program with Foley would be a step in the wrong direction for Ziggler.

Mick Foley vs. Dolph Ziggler in a Street Fight at Wrestlemania, perfect since the man who beat him in a street fight at Mania 22 will be going into the hall of fame the night before

Ziggler maybe the best Heel in the biz right now. Please don't let him wrestle Mick Foley at WM. To me thats a waste of a great wrestler. But I hope Foley enters the Rumble just like it was a waste when he faced edge at WM.
