I agree they should have used him better.

Taz also ended up in bad shape physically not long after he got to WWE, hence his relatively quick transition from active wrestler to color commentator. So even if they decided to push him again after their initial screw-up, he might not have been in good enough shape to carry the ball for very long.

I don't know, I think it was easier to mask that Taz was small in ECW, and not so much in WWF. He was definitely misused. I still think he could have been a wrecking machine at the midcard level but the promos were definitely badass. I still think Raven was more misused than Taz though.

i was a huge Taz fan in ECW and even to this day, he's still one of my all time favorites. i was so pumped for the royal rumble and his debut. the teasers were pretty obvious that it was Taz with the whole black and orange and number 13. it was still cool how they hyped it up. i also feel he was majorly misused for his WWF wrestling career.
