Exactly. All that needs to be said. Everyone cheats on their wife with their best friend's girlfriend these days? Honestly though who the cares? The only time you ever saw Edge was when he wrestled right? Then why do you care what happens in his personal life? People need to get over this already. Its one thing if you didnt enjoy his wrestling ability, or his promos (don't know how anyone could), but just for the whole Lita/Matt thing to hate a guy is pretty dumb. They're on the road all the time, poop happens. There were also rumors before of Jericho getting frisky with Kelly Kelly. Does that mean you hate him now too if he cheated on his wife? Things happen, life goes on. NEVER said I hated the guy. I said I would never be able to give him my full support after that. Is it any of my business? No. But either is most of the dirt sheet stuff that people post endless threads about on here. As a wrestler he was real good. Not great, but real good. HOF worthy? Sure. But I don't have to like him as a person but him showing little respect to his wife and his friend and tearing relationships apart.[/quote] You don't know him, does that resonate with you or no? Just because you watch him on tv, doesn't mean you know a damn thing about Adam Copeland. This is where "fans" get embarrassing. You don't like a guy as a wrestler, for what he did in the ring, good for you, but the personal lives of people you don't know is none of your ing business. It's not your place to judge.

Its because hes retired and going into the Hall Of Fame, just another flavour of the month. Flavor of the month for years and years and years? That doesn't make sense dude.

I was never a big fan of Edge until about his return to SmackDown in 2010 then he retires shortly after. Hey-ho. Also was never a big fan of HBK either.

1) Being a fan of the guy is not a "love affair" 2) Who the hell is Xtian? 3) Edge is my all time favorite superstar, bar none. You want to know what the "love affair" is? Here's a few reasons for me personally: Edge was obviously one of those passionate fans, who grew up watching wrestling, and finally saw his dream realized and became a professional wrestler himself. That right there makes him relatable to other fans. Also, he was extremely entertaining in the ring and out of it. His passion for his career showed through in every aspect of it, and made people respect him, and in turn, made them like him. He was incredibly believable in whatever it was he was doing, be it as a bad ass "Rated R" Heel, or the loveable, hokey face character. He busted his ass and put his body on the line night in and night out for over a decade to get where he got. He deserved every accomplishment that came his way. Hall of Fame included. Edge MADE WWE for me. I can honestly say that I was heartbroken and even shed a few tears when I found out he was retiring, and can't express how glad I am for him that he's getting recognized in the Hall of Fame. Clearly I'm not the only one who thinks he's one of the greats. Agree or disagree, I don't care. Edge is, and forever will be my number 1. EDGEHEAD FOREVER! Took the words right out of my mouth bro

He's been overrated ever since he retired. Don't get me wrong, Edge is awesome, but he's been praised to death on the internet ever since he retired.

He was one of the best working heels of our generation. Even in 2008, during the Jericho/Michaels feud, he gave Jericho a run for his money. Plus the guy could work. Great in the ring and on the mic. I'm a bigger Christain fan myself, but Edge was great.

Dude, it's 2012. This happens all the time. The divorce rate is higher than the marriage success rate. As far as Edge goes, he did just about everything there was to do in the business. His character was always entertaining. The Rated R gimmick was awesome, a lot of times he was just a transitional World Champion, but he was a believable Heel World Champion, doing whatever it took to win. He was always evolving his character, something that some guys can't do, or just refuse to do. He did have a lot of injuries, but he still put on good matches, and was in the better storylines. Everyone cheats on their wife with their best friend's girlfriend these days? That's terrible.. My Brain Would Explode!

Christian better than Edge? People are entitled to their opinions, yes... But sometimes those opinions are just completely outlandish. For a guy dubbed Captain Charisma, he is extremely mediocre to me. Being in the WWE takes a ton of acting ability and athleticism. Christians athletic, but his acting blows. You can literally tell he's acting just by how poor his quality of acting is.. Whereas Edge.. Edge always hooked me into what he had to say, and made it believable somewhat with his emotions. To be flat out honest, there probably would be no Christian without Edge. And that definitely says a lot. See that, I completely disagree... I like Xstian waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more than edge on the mic.. & I like him on the mic more than I like him wrestling.. They gotta push him, especially if they got the miz being pushed too

I found him really entertaining. He had some amazing matches, could speak pretty well, had managers or allies in his career I also really liked, etc. I just watched his retirement speeches a couple days ago and it was so sad. I miss him a lot.

Eh, I like Edge. Not my favourite superstar... probably not even in my top 15 but he had great career and put on some really good matches but I did find him to be boring in 07? i think it was or more specifically his feud with Batista. Also wasn't a great fan when he returned from his heel injury but thats really down to him not being as physically fit anymore i would think.
Edge is good and deserve to go into the HOF but I personally wouldn't praise him as much as others and don't think he needs to go in the HOF this early.

I liked Edge but he is highly overrated. After his neck surgery he was never that good in the ring again. His Rated R gimmick was old after a few months, and the fact he was a 10+ world champ in only a few years was a joke. Was he good? Yes. Is he a legend? Unless you look at his time w/ Christian then no. He didn't deserve half the pushes he got in the WWE, and even when the fans didn't care for him from 2004-early 2005, he kept getting pushes. It wasn't until he and Lita hooked up in real life that he started to get some heat.
Christian has always been just as good on the mic as Edge, and better in the ring as well.

But no, I don't hang out with him. But I'm aware of something he did in his personal life that I find to be a terrible thing. Just as someone who make not like Bush or Obama because of a decision they've made. Do they hang out with them personally? No. But they may like or dislike a public figure for something that was made public. Don't pretend you never did that. Besides, I never said Adam Copeland was a bad person and not worthy of being liked. I simply said that while it isn't my personal business I still feel that what he did was wrong and I was never able to support him the same afterwards.

Edge was pineer in tag team wrestling in the 90's as well has revolutionizing the ladder and tlc matches. He always had a great passion in everything he did, and had an energy that can't be matched. He was able to make the transition from face to heel without missing a beat. He was also able to cut a damn good promo. He's also has had classic on top of classic matches wether it was all thoes tag team ladder matches, or againts christian, eddie, kurt angle, rey, undertaker, cena, jericho, etc. Wether you like him or not there is no denying he has had a Hall Of Fame career. Multiple Intercontential title reigns, 11 time world title reigns, all thoes tag title reigns on of which he held with Hulk Freaking Hogan! King of the ring winner Royal rumble winner First money in the bank winner, first to cash it in twice. Like him or not he belongs in the HOF Exactly. I could not have stated this any better myself. Edge was the Guns N' Roses of pro wrestling.

Xtian...? Why you would spell it like that I'm not really sure.
As far as Edge goes, his accomplishments speak volumes to what he's done in the company. He was a fantastic heel, sad to see his career end forcibly and not under his own will.

Who gives a crapif the guy did that? It's his personal life and should in no way effect his in ring life. I thought it was ed up but still, Edge remained as my favorite and still is.

He may not have been the best wrestler alive but he loved wrestling and you could tell that it was his passion to do this. Honestly, when he retired alot of my passion for wrestling left too, because honestly, Im not into the WWE as much anymore. It isnt the same without him here
