John Cena has probably been my favourite thing about WWE 2012, the past 2 weeks specifically, I love how he's getting a more heel type character, Destroying Jack Swagger, interrupting Punk, and being pissed off after Eve said it was his fault.
I'm really looking forward to Rock/Cena now, I really hope he keeps this character up for when The Rock comes back, it will really add to the match, I could see The Rock doing a promo on Cena and Cena interrupts him just to fight.
What do you think of Cena's character?

It's getting better every week and if he keeps it like this we won't need a heel Cena (Although a heel turn in the future would still be great).
The build up for Rock/Cena should be epic.

Looks like business as usual to me, bud. Sorry. Other than some overly intense facial expressions and a few more entertaining matches I see the same 'boy scout' we've always been forced into. The 'toying with the dark side' thing is kind of interesting but at the end of the day, heel or face or alien from Mars, John Cena is still John Cena.

I must say, now that he's becoming more vengeful in his behaviour and introducing a bit of grey to his character rather than just the black or white I'm enjoying him a lot more.
If he keeps this up I can see him achieving the same standing quality as his predecessors.

Looks like business as usual to me, bud. Sorry. Other than some overly intense facial expressions and a few more entertaining matches I see the same 'boy scout' we've always been forced into. The 'toying with the dark side' thing is kind of interesting but at the end of the day, heel or face or alien from Mars, John Cena is still John Cena. I don't get why we aren't allowed to just have a good guy. People keep throwing 'goody two shoes' and 'boy scout' around when describing Cena. I don't see why a lot of people's problem with Cena is that he is a good guy with certain values. Everyone according to WF has to be a 'badass', or a Heel, or a badass Heel, otherwise they ain't happy, it seems. That said, if anything I think Cena could be the ultimate Tweener. It was so cool seeing him come out and get in CM Punk's face at the start of RAW, 'cause frankly, Punk was rambling a bit lol. |

I expect promos along the lines of "They have EARNED the right to cheer and boo who they want, they're the WWE UNIVERSE! No no no n-n-n-n-n-n-n-no my friend, even if they call me a FRUITY PEBBLE, we're LIVE with the WWE UNIVERSE!" for all of 2012.
In other words, the Kane storyline ends at Royal Rumble, Cena wins at WrestleMania, Rock comes out one more time to try and get a Cena heel turn, but Cena AA's Rock and Raw ends and no heel turn for 2012.

All this angle is meant for is to give Cena an edge going into his fued with Rock. I just can't wait till the end when Cena destroys Kane due to all the hate he is finally embracing, and the following bitch fest on this site that will follow. |

Still can't stand him, especially whenever he awkwardly tries to stand up for Zack Ryder mainly because it just seems so forced, but I must admit he's been a lot more tolerable as of late.

the fact that John Cena is not anywhere near the WWE championship picture and even occasionally takes a back seat to guys Like Punk and Ziggler makes this his best year in a long time ( and this is coming from a Cena fan )

Turning Cena heel won't benefit anything. It would just flip the reaction he gets from the fans. I would rather have him still be a face but with a little bit more aggression.

Squashing Jack Swagger, Making angry face, and interrupting CM Punk are not characteristics of John Cena turning heel. It's actually the same stuff he's always done.
