No.. Diaz should fight the winner of Petis and Lauzon for number one contender ship. What has Anthony Pettis done since coming to the UFC eh? Lost to Clay Guida and picked up a win again Jeremy Stephens. He is no where near the title picture right now. Joe Lauzon and Anthony Pettis is a good fight though but right now Diaz Vs Miller winner makes the most sense to me.

If the winner of this fight doesn't get a title shot then idk wtf the UFC is waiting for. Both guys are on a tear right now. As far as Pettis/Lauzon goes I think the winner of that should get the loser of Edgar/Hendo and then possibly a title shot but its too soon right now. Im pulling for Diaz through and through right now though. As much as I hate the guy and think he needs to learn some damn respect he's been looking damn impressive in the fights with Gomi and Cerrone.

I'm sure the winner of this will get a title shot, actually. There's not doubting Nate if he beats two straight top-10 guys.

Joe Lauzon and Anthony Pettis is a good fight though but right now Diaz Vs Miller winner makes the most sense to me. Well for one Pettis was the last WEC champ... and the last guy who beat Ben Henderson. You know, that guy who beat Jim Miller. He also was more active on his back then Clay was on top of him. So, take that for what it is worth. Joe has won his last two fights. Some thing Jim Miller can not boast right now.

Miller has fought better competition than Lauzon.

So, take that for what it is worth. Joe has won his last two fights. Some thing Jim Miller can not boast right now. The arguement can be made for Pettis possibly but in my eyes Miller/Diaz are ahead of him right now. Sure he was the last guy to defeat Henderson and was the last WEC champion but he lost to Guida (even if Guida was the human blanket that Pettis just couldnt shake off throughout the whole fight) and beat Jeremy Stephens who is no where near top 10. And Lauzon in his last 3 fights has lost to Soto, Defeated Curt Warburton and Melvin Guillard. So i'd say he's about a victory or two away from deserving a title shot. But as for Diaz and Miller they both deserve a title shot if they win this fight. Diaz is coming off two absolute demolitions of Gomi and Cerrone. Where as Miller is looking extremely impresive himself lately and his only loss in 3 years has been to the current number one contender in Hendo. So to even think that Lauzon or Pettis deserve a title shot more so then the winner of Diaz/Miller is absurd. But anyway im excited to see who the rest of the card is going to be, if it turns out to look as stacked as the UFC on FOX 2's card then im excited as hell.

Still pulling for Diaz. I think Diaz versus either Hendo or Edgar will be one HELL of a fight.
