Well if they're showing his car and his window net comes down and you see him get in the back of an ambulance....common sense would say he's ok then. As far as either of us knows they didnt have a signal to Kyles radio or knowing Kyle, he was probably rambling profanities. Either way, It's hardly some conspiracy against Kyle. Not everyone is going to get a 5* treatment after a wreck in every race. They didn't show his window net down nor him getting into the ambulance, all that was shown was his car sitting in a heap of sheetmetal and at one point you see an ambulance going away from the car. That doesn't mean he's okay..What does it matter if Kyle was rambling "profanties"? It takes all of ten seconds to say: "Kyle is on his radio with his team, he's okay". Not that hard. The problem isn't someone didn't get a "5 star treatment", it's the fact that Kyle hits the wall head on at 180+ MPH after getting turned, and not a single word as said about him being on the radio with his team, his window net being down, nothing. I'm not the only one who shares this opinion either. Twitter and Facebook blew up asking if he was okay, because they didn't say anything. If you weren't on Twitter or Facebook, you didn't know because they said nothing about it. It's not about five star treatment or spending 20 minutes dweling on it, but in the replay shots or the shots of his car sitting there without anyone checking on him.. 10 seconds is all it would have took. If they have access to Danica's rant (and still air it) they could have found someway to get an update on Kyle. ESPN can still kiss my ass for not having the common sense to say something about Kyle. The worst thing they could have done was say nothing. That simple. Case closed. You said the window net "did come down" not that it was down which made me believe that you actually saw him take it down while they showed his car. Either way its not the first time they didnt report right away on a wreck. Ive been watching racing since the mid 80s, it wasnt the first and I can promise it wont be the last.

I am not saying it was the first or the last time, but the people in the booth can't be comfortable when someone wrecks and use the mindset of "Oh, it's safer now. They're okay" because one day... they aren't going to be okay. The minute you get comfortable when it comes to safety.. is when something is going to go wrong. If you can't spend 10 seconds to say "Kyle has climbed from his car and into the ambualnce", then what is going to happen when someone is hurt? I'm jut saying.

Yeah I was watching to and was wondering why no mention of him. They showed his car sitting there then cut away for something else. I didn't know he even got out.

So I guess the race is at 7:00 eastern tonight. Which is awesome for me because that means I actually get to watch it. but it will overlap with Raw so I have some decisions to make.
Monday night, under the lights 500 does sound pretty awesome on the whole.

Dang it Elliot, way to kill a good part of the field one lap in. Now we'll get to see footage of Danica's car in the garage for a while.

Can't really blame him, seemed like his car broke and he had no control. But That was scary. And different. I'd love for Blaney to be the winner of the Daytona 500, even though I want to see it go the distance. But idk if the track is, well, usable, or if the weather is coming again. Ricky Bobby as wrecked at the Daytona 500...HE'S ON FIRE! Lol!

They should have had the top 20 drivers run from the start of pit lane to the finish line, first one across wins the Dayton 500
