Haven't heard about them switching. What do they have now? Chevy? I think they need a better driver in that camp you got Brad K who is a young up and comer and Allmendinger who I just don't think he'll make it.
On another one anyone know why red bull isn't sponsoring a car this year?

I dont think it will hurt them that much switching to Fords. Penske ran Fords before switching to Dodges a few years back so they've got a decent knowledge of Fords. Id put them in the criteria of RCR Racing when it comes to Chevys. Just about every Chevy runs a Hendrick motor except for the RCR cars. Penske will probably be the same way. They do need a better driver then AJ Ohmydinger!
As for Red Bull Racing, they closed down their Nascar operations after last season because of lackluster (or piss poor as it should be called) performance. Their points were sold/give to the cars driven by David Reuitmann and Landon Cassel at BK Racing.

But, if they aren't getting their motor from Roush and building it themselves.. what is the point of switching? They are just putting themselves behind the 8-Ball. It appears they are switching to be "championship" contenders.. which I think is stupid. Brad was - what - fourth in points last season? Kurt made the Chase. They'll switch to Fords, make a little noise, and then nothing will happen. They'll be just another Richard Petty Motorsports, you see them.. but they aren't really there, imo.
Plus, each manufactor suffers.. look at Roush and Fords. They are just coming back, but whose to say when the 2013 season starts with the brand new cars.. Fords aren't crap? I just don't know how well they'll do, honestly. Should they have stayed with Dodge? No, not at all. I just don't think going to Ford and not getting their engines from Roush-Yates will help them anymore than staying with Dodge as far as championships go.
If they want to be a champion.. should have went to Chevy and got Hendrick motors. Can't argue with 6 back-to-back championships. LOL

Chevys are obviously the way to go to be successful. I was born in 1983, in 28 years 20 champions have driven Chevys. That should tell people something right there. Penske has always put together a good team though. They were good in Pontiacs, Fords and Dodges. With a better driver in the #22, I dont think they'll be as bad as Petty...Lets be honest, that team has been awful since before Petty retired in '93. Will the be as good as Roush with Yates Engines? Probably not but I still dont think they'll be that bad. Maybe its my age but I find it freaking weird to say Roush-Yates engines anyway. I know Robert got out of racing and Doug is still building Engines but it's not right not seeing the 28 car on the track. Its kinda like seeing the #11 and knowing Junior Johnson doesnt own it.

It's kinda like seeing the number 10 and it being a woman, and not Johnny Benson.
At least Danica is better looking than Johnny.

Sorry, sometimes I dont realize just how old I am until I hear some people associate drivers to numbers that I would have never thought of. I'd probably said Ricky Rudd or Derrick Cope haha

I remember him driving the 15 for Bud Moore, 26 for somebody, 5 for Hendrick, 10 for himself and then when his team went belly up he went to Yates and drove the 28. I wanna say he drove for the Wood Brothers and also the 88 car for Yates at some point, but not 100% sure.

So what do you do, just choose drivers before the race or do you choose guys and use them all year long?

So what do you do, just choose drivers before the race or do you choose guys and use them all year long? You can do either. If you want to use Jimmie Johnson all year, you can. If you'd rather just pick and choose drivers based on the track, you can do that. 5 more slots. If we can fill it before PIR tomorrow, that'd be sweet.

Says I cant edit my drivers until the league is locked? Does it have to be full before its locked? What about multiple drivers? Can two people take like Carl Edwards during the same race? ....Havent played this before so dont really know whats goin on.

And yes, we can pick whomever we want.. no matter if someone else has 'em. It's my first time playing it too, so lol

JGR are looking like a fantastic team so far. Won the shootout, Denny ran awesome in the 500, Denny wins at PIR, all three JGR cars top ten at PIR.. looking good.

Where did he finish at the 500? I thought Bifle would be points leader. Pretty uneventful race though.
