It looks like Matthew Broderick will reprise his role as Ferris Bueller for a Super Bowl commercial, but it is not yet known for which company. You can check out the short teaser below! Who do you think the company is? Broderick starred opposite Alan Ruck, Mia Sara, Jeffrey Jones and Jennifer Grey in the 1986 classic, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, which was written and directed by the late John Hughes. The comedy earned $70.1 million at the domestic box office. Read more: Ferris Bueller Returns for the Super Bowl? - ComingSoon.net www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=86334#ixzz1kbHAMIRF

I hate football and have no interest in this year's Super Bowl (and I'm from Massachusetts no less) other than Madonna's half time performance, but this is something else I'd like to see as well.

I'm betting it will be a Pepsi commercial.
Anyways, 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' is one of my favorite movies of all time, so I'm really psyched for this.

...Please lead to a sequel, it would be hilarious to see a 45-year old man skipping work just like did when he was in high school. Besides it's a funnier idea than Hangover III...you know it is.

Maybe it's for a special edition shoe that'll go for thousands on eBay and I'll never be able to own...wait, wrong eighties classic.

Brilliant idea. If in the right writers hands, I don't know how a sequel could go too wrong. It really could be about Cameron, basically Ferris sees his friend in a dead-end job/life and busts him out for the day ala like they did on that magical day in 1986. Alan Ruck joking had the same idea, but for when they were in their 70's. Ferris busts Cameron out of a nursing home to live it up one more time, before Cameron dies. That's actually not too bad an idea, jokingly or not. It'd be like Ferris mixed with Grumpy Old Men.

I'd like to see Charlie Sheen return for a sequel. With the exact same dialogue.
