Okay, so to follow up on last nights post. Went to Gamestop today. Told them about the message I got about my FIFA pre-order being in. They said they have some games programmed in the system to be released today, however they aren't allowed to break street date. Guy said they pretty much have everything in the back. I just didn't wanna lose my pre-order if they actually were selling it today, but I'm picking everything up Sunday. He said no midnight launch, but they're open earlier on Sunday. Brought up too they're only serving pre-orders. So if anyone thinks about lining up early and hoping for extras, they'd be out of luck. They did have the demo station set up. Held the Gamepad for the first time, and it felt great in my hands. The one thing that always worried me was the size of it, but it's a great fit. Surprisingly lighter than I thought it would be. Didn't try the Rayman demo, I only wanted to fiddle around with the gamepad. Cant wait for Sunday! The Rayman Legends demo is wicked. Especially the Castle Rock level. I could understand not wanting to be teased, though. ;D |

Anyone spending $40 at Old Navy on Black Friday and getting the free copy of NSMBU? I won't be able to because I'm starting work 2 days later and I will need my gas money.

I read on the forums at NeoGAF that they did this deal last year with another game and apparently they got around 2-3 copies in each store... |

Anyone spending $40 at Old Navy on Black Friday and getting the free copy of NSMBU? I won't be able to because I'm starting work 2 days later and I will need my gas money. I read on the forums at NeoGAF that they did this deal last year with another game and apparently they got around 2-3 copies in each store... Oh wow that kinda sh*tty. Nvm. I thought it'd be something to get excited for but not if each store is only getting 2 or 3 copies. |

I thought it'd be something to get excited for but not if each store is only getting 2 or 3 copies. It could be wrong. At any rate, TRU has a BOGO 40% on WiiU games for Black Friday. Anyway, Best Buy says mine is ready to be picked up tomorrow at my local store. Now to figure out if I want Scribblenauts or ZombiU. I was look at Epic Mickey 2, but it's getting torn apart in reviews which is unfortunate. |

  Launch wait video (a good look at the box itself at the end):  My Walmart got 4 Deluxe consoles and 4 Basic consoles. That's. it. I was first in line, and they made us wait on the freakin' tile floor and wouldn't allow us to get chairs. But alas, another successful console launch. |

Also, the reviews are not lying about the AI of Oswald, it's terrible. I will just read the review on ZombiU in the morning as I know Scribblenauts already got a really good one and then make my decision from there. |

Well successful launch was successful.
Been practically playing all day, haven't had time to come on here. Deluxe Set, ZombiU, FIFA 13, Madden 13, New Super Mario Bros. U, and Nintendoland have been practically spinning all day. Also picked up my Power of Illusion pre-order and got my Oswald Ears with it. I'll post all my Nintendo Network stuff tomorrow. (NO FRIEND CODES! WOO!)

i snagged CoD Blops, Mario, and Epic Mickey 2 with my Deluxe Set this morning. I don't want to go to work tomorrow, I just want to play Mario every day.

I got my Wii-U last night after work. I like it. I was pretty impressed with all of the features. I love the game pad but it's too big. I think I could've done without a touch screen. I find myself often wondering what screen to watch. Nintendo Land is dope as well. I LOVE the Yoshi game, it's simple but awesome. I've only played the Yoshi one, the Metroid one, the DK one, and I played the coin mini-game. I've gotten a Melon and Jukebox but I have no idea what you can get/what you can do with the items.
Regardless, once I get NSMU I'll probably use it more.
Does anyone know how to get the games I've bought/downloaded on my Wii and 3DS onto my Wii-U? For example...I know I bought Super Mario 64 and OOT on my Wii...but they aren't showing up in my history on the e-Shop in the Wii-U

Do you still have your Wii? You need to download a transfer utility onto both units and have an SD card with at least 512MB handy, to go over the process in the manual. Unfortunately, there is no real unified account system in place for Nintendo, so there isn't much in place of just being able to log in to an account like other systems. And you aren't getting anything from your 3DS onto the Wii U.

Decided to get NSMBU and Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper with my Wii U, 8 more days  need to get some Wii AV Cables too  Mario was a must, you have to get Mario if you get a nintendo, then I've had so many games in my head for a second game, Trine 2, Epic Mickey 2, Sonic Racing, ZombiU, Arkham City. Then I just today saw the trailer for Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper, previously writing it off as a JRPG, watched the trailer for it and found out it was a hack and slash game with a decent looking story, plus its japanese with subtitles, which I like (I don't know why) So yeah Premium Black Wii U, Super Mario Bros U and Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper ;D Next friday needs to hurry up lol |

I haven't been following the demand for the Wii U much, as I'm only slightly interested in the console, but was the demand unusually low, or was stock unusually high?
I didn't see a Wii in stores until July 2007. I walked into Wal-Mart on Wednesday night at they had 4 deluxe Wii Us in the case. Last night, they had about four more.
My local Bull Moose also has several in stock.

They were able to push out their second shipment just before Black Friday, so it's a combination of high supply and not necessarily low demand, but a lower than Wii demand.

How's the WiiU play, those that got it? I played the demo of Rayman at Best Buy, and really liked it. But that's just that, a demo system. Was just wondering the actual "take home" models work....how you guys like it and such.
