What Is FCW!
Welcome to Florida Championship Wrestling!
For nearly half a century, Florida Championship Wrestling has been the Sunshine State's primary wrestling promotion. Now officially sanctioned and recently reorganized by WWE, FCW has also become the training ground for future WWE Superstars.
Under the tutelage and leadership of Florida wrestling legend Steve Keirn, FCW's goal for the fans is simple: To give them a glimpse at the potential Superstars of tomorrow, while providing exciting ring action that leaves the entire family with smiles on their faces.
Beyond the strength of its global-sized management and corporate backing, Florida Championship Wrestling is at heart an organization that is local and charitable. Hosting fundraisers with the Pasco Police Athletic League (PAL) and the Youth of Pasco Football League, FCW's very first show was a monstrous success, raising more than $12,000 for the Angelus fund. The organization is also scheduled to work with the SPCA Humane Society later this year, and is proud to continue its support of various local causes throughout the Sunshine State.
The key objective within Florida Championship Wrestling is to train the next generation of WWE Superstars. FCW takes enormous pride in its live events all over the southeast, and in promoting tryouts at the organization's Tampa location to showcase young men and women interested in a career as a sports-entertainer. Florida Championship Wrestling looks forward to the future, and wholeheartedly encourages anyone who has ever had the dream or desire to take the first step and contact us.

FCW Wrestling 04/02/2012 FCW Arena The show opens with the voices of Chris Russo and the familiar voice of, Dusty Rhodes as they both welcome us to the first episode of FCW on the WWE Network. We are then sent to the FCW Intro. We are then shown a video package of the history of FCW including the company in the 80's. We are then shown the live crown in attendance and are soon joined by Steve Keirn who welcomes us to the event. Keirn announces that this will be the first of many great FCW shows on the WWE Network. After a couple seconds of the fans cheering, FCW Champion, Leo Kruger makes his way to the ring with the FCW Heavyweight Championships around his waist. He steps into the ring and starts insulting the crowd before telling Mr. Keirn that he wants to start of the show with real competition unlike facing any of the FCW talent. Mr. Keirn then told Leo that if he wanted competition then he would get it as tonight, he will face a mystery opponent for his FCW Heavyweight Championship! Kruger obviously not liking the decision, quickly gets out of the ring with frustration on his face and heads off tho the back as we head for out first commercial break of the evening. COMMERCIAL BREAK As we come back, Dusty Rhodes tells us that next week we will see the FCW Tag Team Championships on the line as FCW Tag Champions, Brad Maddox and Briley Pierce face off against the tag team of The Uso's! Kenneth Cameron vs Mike Dalton In this opening bout, the “Deranged” Kenneth Cameron faced off against “The Blond Sensation” Mike Dalton. For most of the match, Kenneth had control of the match but Dalton with the help of the fans cheers, came back with a flurry of punches and then hit the Impaler DDT for the victory. Following the match, Mike Dalton continued celebrating his victory but the duo if Jiro and Sakamoto came out and starting attacking “The Blond Sensation”, Jiro then hit Dalton with a superkick and then Sakamoto hit him with a Fisherman Buster. Is Japan Wrsetling on it's way to FCW? We are now greeted by Maxine backstage. Maxine welcomes us to the FCW report, she tells us that FCW will be coming to the following cities for live events: Stamford, CT and Hartford, CT. COMMERCIAL BREAK As we come back to FCW, Dusty Rhodes and Chris Russo announce to us that all episodes of FCW including past episodes will be uploaded and shared on YouTube. Richie Steamboat vs Xavier Woods vs Seth Rollins vs Dean Ambrose In this exciting bout for number one contendership to the FCW Heavyweight Championship, these four men raised the bar. Rollings and Ambrose started to use a strong style for a while but Woods and Steamboat used some highflying action to separate the styles a bit. To end the match, Woods hit a flying elbow on Rollins but Ambrose pulled Woods out of the ring to steal the victory. As the four-way match finishes, Ambrose slides out of the ring knowing he just stole the win from Xavier Woods. Ambrose heads off to the back as Xavier Woods just stares at Ambrose in anger and frustration. We then cut backstage to see Steve Keirn getting ready to announce Leo Kruger's opponent next! COMMERCIAL BREAK As we come back, Leo Kruger was already standing in the ring waiting for his opponent. Mr. Steve Keirn then came out to cheers from the crowd and as he enters the ring, Kruger started to insult him. Mr. Keirn then told Kruger to “shut his yap!” then Mr. Keirn announced that tonight, Leo Kruger will defend against not one but two former FCW Talent. He first introduces “The Funkasaurus” Brodus Clay. Clay comes out with Naomi & Cameron by his side and does his funky entrance for the crowd. Then as Clay stops dancing, Mr. Keirn announces the return of... KAVAL! Kaval comes out from behind the curtain to the delight of the audience. Kaval enters the ring and starts a attack on both Clay and Kruger as the main event of the evening starts. FCW Heavyweight Championship Leo Kruger © vs Brodus Clay vs Kaval As the match starts, Kaval started using his kicks and quickness early on by attacking both Clay and Kruger. During the match, Clay started dancing around the ringside area and then started to proceed to attack both men in the ring. After hitting his headbutt on Kruger for a two-count. Kaval then got the big man out of the ring and gave the Warrior's Way on the champion for the win and the title. After the match, Mr. Keirn gets in the ring and hands the belt to “The World Warrior”. Kaval celebrates with the title as confetti pours down into the ring as the show fades to black. © FCW Entertainment & WWE Inc., 2012

OK, haven't really watched the WWE developmentals in years. First off format is off, really needs some fixing to be easier to read. Decent opening promo with Skinner and Kruger, wonder who the mystery opponent is. Don't really know either of the guys in the opening match, hopefully we can get some character development to get to know these people, I don't even know who is the face and heel in these matches. 4 way seemed good, I know those guys and Ambrose stealing the win is decent. Why is Kaval here? First off he wouldn't come back and if he did he would just bypass FCW altogether, seems like a really poor move to put the title on him.
Overall I'm sorry to say but I think this was actually quite a poor show and a lot of things need to be worked on, first off the format, getting us to care about the characters, that probably includes more detailed match descriptions and the bizarre booking choices (seriously bring Kaval back AND having him win the belt is just terrible dude). On a more positive swing there is a base and it isn't horribly written, plus it's nice to see an attempt on the developmental system and you do seem to have a couple of decent ideas. But stick at it and you are definitely need to work on the things I listed and hopefully this and you will improve.

Florida Championship Wrestling: Saturday 4th February 2012...Here's my effort at replying to this developmental territory diary. Nice little idea to have FCW open things up with a timeline of Championship Wrestling from Florida dating back to the 80s. Leo Kruger kicking things off is fine...if I had a clue who he was. We need some character development, we got a little of it from this, but not enough. I just got the impression that he was a cocky heel. Right, opening contest we have Kenneth Cameron and Mike Dalton but oh dear, yet again I have no idea who is the face or heel. I feel like Dalton is the face, based solely off of his look. Dalton with a win was fine, a crowd-pleasing moment to kick off the action for sure. Wait, who are these guys? Jiro and Sakamoto? I assume they're foreign stars recently signed to the company. Richie Steamboat, Xavier Woods, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose are four of the biggest FCW stars, and they're competing in this big contenders match midcard? I don't like that...I feel like you should have held off the FCW Florida Heavyweight Championship match until next week in favor of this match, or visa versa. Dean Ambrose with the win? Interesting, but I believe Leo Kruger is a heel as well. It only means one thing; we're expecting a title change. As expected, a title did change hands, but I don't get why Kaval is here. Why would he be here? He wasn't happy with the company a year ago, why would he change his mind after this mess of a year for the company? Secondly, what gave him the right to get into this title match after just seeing the hard fought contenders four-way match that Ambrose won? Brodus Clay seemed like the odd one out here, too. Kaval winning the Florida Heavyweight Championship in his return match was a little too soon for me. Overall, it was an OK show, but we didn't really get much character development; match ordering was off, I'm not given enough information to get behind any of these guys. Another issue is the scenario; if these guys are trying to advance to WWE television, what happens to NXT? Why broadcast FCW on national television? Does that not sort of decline the importance of moving superstars up to the WWE? I also highly doubt this show would get the decent ratings being that they're practically nobodies at this moment in time. And lastly, as Fury mentioned, the layout. It needs a font change, Verdana is putrid. And add some bold to these match headers, the simple green font doesn't help me differentiate things honestly. A lot of things to work on, but it seems like a fairly positive start to the diary.

FCW Wrestling 11/02/12 FCW Arena
The show opens with a quick music video recapping last week's events as Kaval won the FCW Heavyweight title in a three-way match with Brodus Clay and Leo Kruger. We are then sent to the FCW intro.
As we come back live, Chris Russo and Dusty Rhodes welcome us to the second episode of FCW on the WWE Network. We then head towards the ring as Kaval is seen standing in the ring with a World Warrior shirt on and the FCW Heavyweight title over his left shoulder. Kaval grabs a microphone and starts to announce that the new era of FCW has begun. He then starts to talk about how he was featured on WWE NXT and how he was portrayed as a joke, but he has decided to come back to FCW to show that he is the best wrestler the world has to offer. Then, the sound of Leo Kruger's entrance music started to play on the speakers in the arena, as the former FCW champion starts to walk towards the ring in a cocky fashion. Kruger gets in the ring and grabs the microphone from the champion, and announces that he wants a rematch. He then starts to say that last week's match was not needed. Kruger then tells Kaval that he is a joke and that he should have just stayed in the minor leagues. Mr. Steve Keirn then comes out and gets in the ring, he shakes hands with Kaval and gives a stern look to Kruger. Mr. Keirn takes a microphone and announces that last week got a decent rating on the WWE Network. He then starts to congratulate Kaval on his win last week. Mr. Keirn then told Kruger that last week there was a number one contenders match between Dean Ambrose, Richie Steamboat, Xavier Woods and Seth Rollins. He announces that the next contender for Kaval's championship is Dean Ambrose. Dean Ambrose then makes his way from the entrance and signals that he will be the next champion and then heads back to the backstage area, as we cut to commercial break.
Commercial Break
Aksana vs Raquel Diaz The FCW Diva's champion and daughter of Vickie Guerrero, Raquel Diaz had most of the match under her control.
We cut backstage to see, Mr. Keirn standing in his office talking on his cellphone. Then, Xavier Woods appears behind him and starts complaining that last week he should have won the four-way match and how Dean Ambrose stole the victory from him. Mr. Keirn then told Woods that since he thinks he should face the FCW Heavyweight Champion, then tonight he will face Kaval, in a non-title singles match. Woods then got a smirk on his face as he leaves the office, as we cut to a commercial break.
Commercial Break
We return to see, Dusty Rhodes and Chris Russo remind us that Xavier Woods will face Kaval in tonight's main event.
Eli Cottonwood vs Husky Harris In this contest between two former NXT Rookies, Husky Harris relentlessly attacked Cottonwood with his cowbell whip before the match.
As the referee called this match a no contest, Bo Rotundo ran down to the ring to try to calm down his brother but was unsuccessful as Harris started attacking his own kin with the whip. Harris then left the ring through the crowd as the ringside doctor checked on Cottonwood and Rotundo, as we cut to another commercial break.
Commercial Break
A graphic is shown promoting our main event: Xavier Woods vs Kaval.
Xavier Woods vs Kaval In this fast paced action match, Kaval used his hard hitting ways against the flying flurry of Xavier Woods. Woods was starting to have control of the match after he hit a top rope suplex, but unfortunately, Kaval gave Woods a superkick for the victory.
Following the match, Dean Ambrose made his way down to the ring and had a faceoff with the FCW Heavyweight Champion. Ambrose went to throw a punch but Kaval ducked a knocked him out with a kick to the face. Kaval took his belt and help it up high, as the show faded to black.

Florida Championship Wrestling: Saturday 11th February 2012...Alright, I'm hoping that this show is an improvement to last week's. Kaval in the ring to start off is fine, but him slandering NXT wasn't that good an idea really. Time will tell to see if I can get adjusted to Kaval as FCW Heavyweight Champion. FCW got a decent rating on the WWE Network...huh. I hope you stretch out the match between Dean Ambrose and Kaval personally. Aksana and Raquel Diaz...who won? You didn't make it clear whatsoever. It seems like Steve Keirn has more air time than anybody; isn't this a developmental territory diary? I don't get that. Focus on the future, man. Eli Cottonwood...oh boy. I sort of like Husky Harris' gimmick. He's definitely worthy of moving back up the card. I don't like the fact that this match ended up as a no contest from the get-go though, but the match wouldn't have been prettier than this angle. Bo Rotundo cameo, ah. Xavior Woods and Kaval had a nice match to close the show, Dean Ambrose staring Kaval down afterwards was the right call. Overall, it wasn't that bad a show, an improvement from last week, but it still needs a lot of work. Writing; make things more clear whilst writing. Also, explain some characters to the reader; I don't have too much of a clue and really you're trying to treat us like we should KNOW the character in each superstar, when really we don't. And lastly, where was the rest of the card tonight? I know the roster's too big to show off everybody, but this show lacked many faces.
