I just don't want that figure. Me either. I wish I did, I want the line to do well on Matty but I just don't care for Andre so I won't spend $30 to get him. I plan on getting DDP, Liz and the Brain Busters when those hit so I will pull my weight that way I suppose. It's a great figure but not one I want.

Sadly, I have a feeling that this will be the last year of Legends. If Rockers have been up for 2 months, that signs the fate of this from the get-go.

Andre was one of my favorite wrestlers when I was little. I loved it when he was terrorizing Hogan up to WM 3 and then when he cheated to win on Main Event right before WM 4. I picked up 2. One to keep MOC and 1 to open. The only wrestlers that I have MOC are all Andre so I figured this one would go well with that set of Jakks, Hasbro, Mego style, etc.

I got an Andre and a Ministry Taker. My friend also picked up an andre in the same order. Not really looking forward to DDP but I cant wait for Bundy!

i'm sorry but almost $30 for a Legends figure that should have been released at retail is ridiculous.

Got Andre and Taker and took the cheaper shipping option cause I'm not that impatient, just glad I got them. Just think about the price of this Andre figure in 2-3 years when Hogan eventually leaves TNA...wishful thinking right? Haha Nope your right! If any figure is going to be worth the value 10 years from now its Andre. His Hasbro MOC became worth it, his Jakks figs did. Mattel def should as well. I just dont see what Hogan would have to do with an Andre figure though. I don't think he's speculating value. If Mattel is charging $20 for Andre in 2012 then Mattel will probably charge $25+ for a Hogan in 2-3 years due to all the various factors. $20 will look like a bargain. At least I think that is what he meant, I could be wrong .

Pretty sure he meant that when Hogan finally gets a Mattel figure, everyone will be trying to buy Andre to go with him and the secondary market value of Andre will increase a considerable amount.

Eh, nothing can save this line. I don't think Andre will have a problem selling well over time, but you can definitely bet that Bundy, Arn, Tully and probably even DDP will be tough sells at roughly $30 shipped. I think Liz will be okay since her last figure was that Toybiz 2-pack with Savage, and she's almost essential for Randy Savage.

I just don't want that figure. Same here as Andre doesn't interest me in the slightest bit. I feel the same way about Blanchard, Bundy & Anderson. I want Liz & DDP but I don't know if I even want to chance ordering from Matty again. After it taking over a month for me to get The Rockers and the customer service being utterly useless it's left a very bad taste in my mouth.

I still can't possibly comprehend the idea that we'd have to pay $30 for a DDP figure with almost no accessories!
I really wish Mattel had decided to go with Ringside for their Legends. At least RSC would not charge that much...especially if they just released a set. Releasing a Legend every 2 months is not creating any "buzz" about them.

I plan on picking up Andre, but I really wish he had a sculpted singlet instead of a cloth one. To me, it just sort of reminds me of the Jakks way of doing things, i.e. "we don't want to make a whole new mold, so we'll just cover it up with new fabric clothing." An Andre with a molded black singlet and removable, cloth navy blue one might have worked well.
I wish we had some better pictures of it. Andre didn't really look like a regular tall person with normal proportions, he had those huge hands and feet that really made him look like a giant, and from what I can tell, the figure really doesn't. I've learned that with Mattel, a lot of times the figure looks a lot better in person. Guess we'll wait and see.
The head sculpt is spot-on, though.

i'm sorry but almost $30 for a Legends figure that should have been released at retail is ridiculous. i agree. i love the Andre figure and was super excited to order it but the more i thought about it, it's just not worth $30. especially when i know that legends are only $12.99 at retail. i love the legends line and really want them to continue but not by way of ripping us off. i'm positive i'll get Andre in a trade or purchase through the classifieds here in a couple months for half the price or a reasonable trade.

I bought an Andre earlier along with 2 packs of stands. Upgraded to UPS ground for shipping since their standard shipping is a nightmare. Came out around $57 for everything. Yes, more than I wanted to pay but what can you do? It's either pay that on MattyCollector or hope to find one for cheap on eBay. And I can't see them being under $20 on eBay.

I've ordered Andre and a set of deluxe stands - which with shipping came to $45, not too bad considering I thought shipping would be expensive.
£29 for Andre and stands delivered to my door in the UK is a great price in my book, especially when I've never seen any Legends at retail in the UK - its hard enough finding and getting hold of Elites.

I havent bought Andre yet. I don't care. His thighs are way too skinny.
I have a feeling it won't sell out anytime soon anyway.

If 1 Andre is going for $28 +, where on earth do you think someone is going to just take a loss and help you out, especially for Andre the giant?? lol If the figure costs $28 at least, and that is what ppl are paying, no one is going to just sell you him for $15 and lose out or trade you for some garbage figure. If anything, the price is going to rise.

I got Andre and Taker, so that helped on the shipping. Otherwise I might not have. But I'll be glad to pay for DDP alone if needed.
