Yeah cammi oh I'm pretty much the same way. If I know somethings going to hit store that I want I will go about once a week twice max otherwise maybe once every 2 weeks or so. And I've learned to look at paint apps more becauseive gotten stuck witha few figures that were less then perfect

LOL tell me about it. the workers at TRU notice me walking to the wwe figures and give me a mug. The second I leave because there's nothing there they have like one or 2 employees check their aisle to see if I had taken anything. I usually walk through the 'EXIT' door... walk to the wrestling figures, see that they have nothing, then walk right back out the 'EXIT' door. Takes about 2 minutes to be in and out of there. So they probably think I am snatching something real quick and getting out of there as quick as possible or something. One time I had a manager waiting at that door to greet me like "Did you find everything you were looking for?" "No, you guys never restock your shelves." I feel the same way about TRU. They used to be the place to go to, but now they don't have anything new and their prices are ridiculous.

I'm warehouse manager at Smyths Toys so I unload all the deliveries. I'm always obsessing over the new figures when they come in. Cool things is though, the figures I want I can just stick 'em in a draw for a couple days til I buy them. Love working in a toy shop!

I used to be that way in the early days of WWF figures, but they're just too expensive now.
Also, I don't go figure hunting as often since I've learned to just call TRU and have them check the item number. That probably saved me quite a bit of gas money on wasted trips to find the BOPPV Cena & HHH, since I didn't make a trip until I knew for sure they had them.

... I use to be a manager at kb toys years ago and there would be a guy who would come in literally every day to check for new stock even though he knew what days we would get shipment... Sounds like me but I'm sure it was somebody else ;D. My KB used to put out shipments on Thursday afternoon but I was still there like everyday.

Yea i feel all collectors have a little of this in them i mean thats obsession is what makes a collector. Theres always that one thing whether its a figure comic card etc that you would do anything to have. I'm sure most of us have overspent and caused us to have money problems for something. But hey once you get it all settle you can say to yourself wow what a nice piece i have. I know there are some people who take it to the extreme but hey its what they really like.

I started just with the Hasbros then I saw how much I was spending on them so my girl bought me my 1st 2 Mattels back in March 2010, I told her Im only gonna collect the WWE line!!! Since then I been collecting DCUC, MOTUC, ML (in which I sold them but now Im regreting), MU, GIJoes!!! Im focusing more on my WWE and MOTUC because they are just awesome but I still find myself buying something else lol!!! Along with addiction it's a habit for me but I never let that get in the way of my personal bills and my family!!!

I am sort of obsessive.
When I'm looking for something I really want, I'll go to the store almost everyday. Drove me crazy trying to find Elite 12 Kane and Basic 13 Vickie. Went almost everyday for 2 weeks to several stores.
Also, I am very uptight about paint jobs. If there are multiple of who I want to buy, I will stand there and compare and look for the one that looks the best.

No. But I literally run to the Wrestling figure Isle when I go to Kohl's or TRU. I did it today when I went to Khol's. I dodged a few people in the process.

I'd rather be addicted to figures than Drugs.

I can admit that I can get a little obsessive. Over the winter break period I had two consecutive weeks where I went figure hunting 5/7 days. And it was intense. No. But I literally run to the Wrestling figure Isle when I go to Kohl's or TRU. I did it today when I went to Khol's. I dodged a few people in the process. Dude, I know what you mean. I don't really run, maybe more of a powerwalk, where ever I go, but especially Walmart, Target, or TRU. I have a total fear of being swiped, almost like it's a race to get the figures.

I went to Toys R Us again today and finally found The Best of PPV Elites... I said to the lady ringing me out..
"I'm glad I finally found these, I was coming in here like every day and felt like the employees here were looking at me like a weirdo."
She said..
"Don't worry about it there are tons of people that come in here on a daily basis." :/

Lol ill be honest I'm a little shocked at a lot of the responses to this post. I'm mean god bless those of you who have the time to go figure hunting almost every single day I prob couldint even if I tried because of work, personal life, responsibilities and a little girl on the way. To each his own I guess.

I buy most of my stuff online. When I go to the store its sad to see the pathetic scalpers watching like hawks what everyone buys. 1 guy got so overly excited that people were buying wrestling figures when the new set hit he grabbed every piece off the shelf then when he found out they weren't money makers he returned them. I only go to the stores to talk to a few friends that work in there.
