Bucs sign Mike Sullivan as OC. Not bad after seeing what he did with Manning this season. Plus anything is better than Greg Olsen Is this post serious? Eli coached Sullivan, not the other way around. Who gives a crap at least I don't have to watch another year of Greg Olsen's play-calling.

No but in all seriousness, Sullivan will defiantly be an upgrade to Greg Olsen and I don't see why Freeman won't benefit from his coaching.

I dont get how Ben doesnt make the HOF, but Eli does when "Everyone who has won 2 Super Bowls makes it"
Can you please elaborate and make actual points not just tell me to get over it, because no its not official, Eli is NOT a Hall of Famer yet especially if Rapelisberger isnt either.

Wait, Eli is but ben isn't? That's ridiculous. Right now, if they both never played again, they would be borderline and might get in eventually. Honestly, they are pretty equal comparisons. Any argument against one is an argument against the other.
But honestly, too early for HOF talk with either of them.
But they are already both in the douchebag hall of fame, if that is any consolation.

Not to take anything away from Eli, but before this year, if I could avoid playing one of them (Eli or Ben), I'm picking Ben with little to no hesitation.

If Eli ever becomes MVP the same year he wins a Super Bowl, I'll consider him the better Quarterback. Dude who are you talking to? Looking through the past two/three pages you've been arguing about Eli/Peyton when nobody has even said Eli is the better quarterback. I'm not speaking to anyone directly. Just speaking about where Eli is vs other QBs in the league.

Can we just make a thread for Eli talk and get this over with? I'm tired of coming in here and seeing arguments over him.

I guess the steelers arent gonna sign Hines Ward for one more year. Absolutley ing horse crap!!!!!! At the end of the day the NFL is a business, they aren't going to pay Hines if he can't produce, sad but that's how it goes.

It's great to see stories like this. Good for him. And to those complaining about Hines Ward not going to be resigned, this guy is the main reason why. He was a monster this year. That and the fact that, unfortunately, it seems Ward has lost it

This Eli talk and HOF is crazy. He just came off a 25 INT year. Lets seem him put together stellar back to back seasons like a Brady, Manning, Brees, etc. Eli had an elite YEAR. Does not make him an Elite QB. Elite QBs are doing it year after year.

Niners denied Tampa Bay permission to talk to DB Coach Ed Donatell....So far its the 3rd time TB has been denied permission by a team. No love for TB apparently lol

Rapelisberger has a 10 point higher QB rating, 5% more completion percentage
Eli has played 7 more games than Ben, and has 20 more TD's but also 29! more INT's!
Plus Ben has 10 more TD's rushing than Eli.
I mean the stats really arent that close, Eli has played more games, 600 more attempts, and more TD's but also 29! more INTs, with a worse completion % and QB rating.
Ben > Eli, and they both have 2 titles.

In my opinion the way Eli won both his Super Bowl's surpasses how Ben won his, people are not blind and they saw how Eli won his and how Ben won his too. Ben beat Matt Hassleback (Hassleback outplayed him, and Ben threw 3 INTs and 0 TDs in that Super Bowl), and Kurt Warner. Eli has beaten arguably the greatest quarterback ever TWICE in the Super Bowl, and in the second win he actually out-played Brady, Joe Namath had a 67.9 career QB rating, threw more INTs than TDs and still made the Hall of Fame. Now Eli has a way better resume than Namath, and is a more accurate passer/quarterback. Eli has also been playing in a much tougher division, the Eagles and Cowboys are two very good teams. Ben has always had a great defense behind him, in 07 Eli had to carry his teams at times (Cowboys playoff game, overtime in Green Bay), and even the Super Bowl. In 06 the Steelers totally carried Ben and if it weren't for that defense playing so lights out and their run game being a total tank of a unit, Ben could have lost it for them (Again, 3 INTs and 0 TDs). In Ben's second run, he had the #1 defense in the league (Again), and of course this time he actually helped his team win it all, but his defense still played a HUGE roll in getting him there and winning it. In Eli's second run, it was pretty much all him until the playoffs started, he carried his team into the dance, and carried his team into the Super Bowl as well. The Giants defense was getting butt- ed by Brady, Eli still came out and drove his team down the field (Making one of the most impressive throws I have ever seen by a quarterback, EVER..to Manningham down the sideline), and left :57 seconds for his defense to win the game, not like that's a breeze, especielly with who their facing..(Brady, of course)..but again..not a hard task for a group of 11 guys. Yes, Big Ben has less INTs and a higher QB rating, but from a player standpoint I think we can all agree Eli throw for throw, is the more accurate quarterback, with more intangibles.
