Anyone else watch it?

I just finished watching the 2 episode premiere. I really enjoyed it, big fan paranormal activity fan so it was kinda obvious that id like this show. Some good scares in the show, definitely something that needs to be watched at night to add to the show, not really something that can scare you at 3 in the afternoon lol

Loved how they set the show up to look like an actual documentary show and not a tv series. I like the story honestly can't wait to see where it goes.

Episode 1 was amazing imo then episode 2 kinda got stupid because of bug crawling in the girls mouth and possessing her which made me say outloud, that is

ing stupid. Some things in the show they took abit too far like the dolls, the

ed up dolls were creepy, but they didn't need to make their heads turn and blink, that just killed it imo

Can't wait to see where the show goes, best US show i've seen in a while since the event and american horror story sank.

What did you guys think of the river?

I hate Shaky Cam as well.

I don't like Paranormal Activity and so far I am not liking this show either. I tuned in because the preview I saw for it made it look like a creature feature type deal, once it started going on about ghosts I was disappointed.

Edit: American Horror Story was far better than this.

Paranormal Activity is my favorite horror movie of all time, bar none. With that being said, I thought The River was pretty terrible. I had high expectations going in, and I was let down to the point that I felt bad for convincing my friends to watch it.

The acting is subpar, the story is a complete mess, and the pacing is awful. I'll give it another shot next week, but I don't see it improving much.

It's a shame, really. I'd been all hyped up about this thing since the teaser came out last spring.

I'm a PA fan, and I was looking forward to this, however with what I'm consistently hearing about it, I'm glad I missed it at this point. I'll stick with Walking Dead.

I still need to watch the second episode, but the first was below my expectations. It moved way too fast and didn't give the story any time to develop. The acting was OK but definitely nothing to write home about. It also wasn't too scary, which was definitely the most disappointing thing about it. I'll probably watch it again next week, but if it's another lackluster episode, I'll most likely avoid it.
