Believe it or not I am disappointed to not see a new Titan Tron platset of some kind. Yeah I something that looks like one in one of the photos, but not even close to what I was expecting based on Mattel's comments a while back. I remember Mattel saying that they were looking into making one that had a downloadable gimmick, but that was quite awhile ago. I'd even settle for a cardboard Titan Tron as long as it was in scale. They are never going to make a real scale stage. They made a real scale ring and nobody bought it. A real scale stage would take up half a wall. There's just not a market for something of that size and price. We may not, but we are a very small part of the overall market. You are 100% right. I just don't understand why Mattel can't sell a Stage, by itself, of any kind. I remember my friend got a Raw stage, that was basically compised of cardboard, but it looked really nice as a display. I also got a Smackdown stage that hod no electronics, but it had the "look" and that too was impressive for being a $10 item. I also see that the ES Ring didn't sell well, but could that have been a distribution flaw? The Jakks RSRs sold out everywhere they were available. No stores near me ever got in the ESR. I had to drive to a TRU 20 miles away to get mine but it was well worth it. Not to mention Jakks had higher price points, because they came with cages, cells, and chambers. As far as having to many rings, I understand that Mattel is looking to make money like any other company, but would it be cheaper for both them, and the consumer to just make the add on parts? Many people may buy these sets to get the extra parts, but then there are also a lot of people like me who pass because the ring serves no purpose. the last set I bought was the Ringside Battle Playset, and that was simply because I wanted barricades and a commentary table. I gave the ring to my daughter.

Perhaps there just isn't enough of a profit margin in them. Remember, it costs Mattel money to ship these things and playsets take up a large chunk of retail space within an isle.
My guess is we will either see something or have something announced at SDCC.

Toyfair might as well have just been a few proto pics uploaded to Facebook. Pretty letdown, not gonna lie. But the Q&As are always interesting, so I'm looking forward to that.

^ Yeah... I loved what I saw - there just wasn't enough of it! I think Mattel know what they're doing though - "...always leave them wanting more...".

Maybe DDPs face is let down by the paint of the hair and stubble... Maybe the face is too thin.,..
I just really really want to like the scan as we probebly won't get another.....but there's defently something off.
The amount of times I've switched between the sculpt and a picture of DDP trying to convince myself to like it but I am struggling. Will still get it though as its better than nothing but I wish Mattel had done better.

Kind of dissapointed in the amount of new figures we got to see. I mean don't get me wrong the figures are amazing but it feels like we only saw a few new things... Hopefully there is more... and i have a feeling Mattel will not let us down

This is kinda the expression I wanted for DDP: I think that would have came out much better, but like you say I doubt we'll get any more DDPs, unfortunetely... I'd even take a stalker version if it meant we got a decent headscan...

It would be so cool if the toy fair ended with mattel saying we have one last WWE item and they bring out Lex Express Lex Luger and the Lex Express Bus to go with the Yokozuna figure. I would love that. Summer 93 was my favorite Summer because of the Lex Express!

I usually see it like this
Early-1st to the 12th Mid-13th to the 20th Late-21st-the end
Now it does vary, but this is just how I see the months split up as far as RSC time goes.

Just an update, the Q & A video is now in the original post and keep your fingers crossed for the Rundown from Tim & I for today. Both videos are well worth the lengthy watches. Lots of fun, intricate discussion.
