I know he didn't literally mean that The Governor character was letting him go, I'm asking if you guys think that's foreshadowing that Randell is in fact a part of The Governor's group. Or is it a red herring, and Randell's group will not have anything to do with The Governor.

Too many stupid characters. Carl, Lori, T-Dogg, Glen, Andrea, Maggie, Rick & Dale - glad he's dead, wish Shane actually did it now however, they all act completely stupid. Also Daryl, why hold info that this 'kid' and his gang at least were witnesses to the implied gang rape of two teenage girls in front of they're father away from the group. And lets not forget the multiple intent to kill shots fired at the bar trip. You say that in front of everybody and they'd all be on board the eradication. While were all watching saying kill the **** we have Dale standing up for him all ep long. Lets get shot of T-Dogg, Lori and Andrea - I hope by season 3 end we have these two morons dead and move the on shall we, Rick needs shaking up some more apparently. Also could do with Maggie or Glenn getting killed, hate they're dumbass love story.Well, stay far away from the comics. They're both still alive nearly 100 issues in, and Glenn is sort of an important character. Fact is, this show is about the people, their relationships, humanity, and trying to live and survive in a world that just so happens to have zombies. It is a drama... expect "drama-like" elements.

Yeah, the show much like the comic is much more about the characters and not the zombies. I seem to find that people who actually read the comics tend to enjoy the episodes with little to no zombies because of the character development that gets to take place.

Fact is, this show is about the people, their relationships, humanity, and trying to live and survive in a world that just so happens to have zombies. It is a drama... expect "drama-like" elements. Yeah I get that and apart I like/d both characters and I think they both have a place but the emphasis of this bullcrap(not enough work done to convince me of a Sawyer/Juliet kind of love ;[) love angle has fenced them off from other characters and storylines which they could be involved with, the dialogue between the two and this "connection" between them leaves much to the imagination. They don't really talk much to anyone else and then barely talk to each other. You would imagine they would try and have some fun, somewhere. And on that, when has 'father of the year' Rick done anything to entertain Carl a bit, he gets shot and then he just lets him go on and bam he does stupid stuff. The writing is shhh... Very early Heroes season 2 of em. And then you've got the "characters" not doing anything. "Love" isn't a hard thing to acheive in drama even in a short space of time, Breaking Bad season 2 absolutely nailed the Jesse and Jane affair. It has to feel earnt, this doesn't and is easy to resent.

I want to love the show and have no problem with it being character driven. However, after 2 seasons, I can't think of a TV show where I really dont know anything about any of the major characters. We get no background and very little character development for a show that has been mostly centered around dialogue for the past 12 episodes. I dont know several of the characters names on the farm. A few others don't say anything. The characters we do know stuff about are completely 1 dimensional. Its pretty disappointing cause i've heard nothing but good stuff about the comics.

What happened to that guy from episode 1 of season 1? The one with the kid, Rick was suppose to walkie him every sun up? Does he ever show up again in the comics? Or did they "anonymous raw GM" him?

Warning. Contains Spoliers for the comic seriesAm I the only one who can't stand Shane? I really wish he would've been killed off like he was in the comic series. Maybe not by Carl, but I'd like him dead. I am hoping that happens soon, and I seriously hope it happens the same way. Me too. I remember flipping to that last page and instantly knowing that this would be a good series. I love how Carl is so badass in the comic series.

People really watch this FOR the zombies? smh Even though there are a lot of people that get what the comic and the TV show are about, far too many people read/hear the description as, "a group of people adjusting to life during a" ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE!!"

Zombies are neat but if people miss the storytelling then they have missed the point.

I can't wait for tonight. I have a really bad feeling Shane is going to die this season. I actually hated him earlier but now he's grown to be my favorite character. I hope he makes it to Season 3... But I just don't see it happening.
