This should be good following a big Survivor Series. A nice opening segment and I fully expected the rematch with Alberto Del Rio, but a nice touch to add either John Cena or Christian. The King of the Ring Tournament is always a good thing to do, and I like Zack Ryder qualifying as the United States Champion, but I don't see him winning. Interesting segment with Laurinaitis and Vickie Guerrero. I wonder what stipulation Dolph Ziggler will choose when he decides to get his rematch. A nice victory for David Otunga over Mason Ryan. Honestly, I'm a big Otunga fan, I wouldn't mind seeing him win the whole thing, but I don't see it happening. Good match between these two Champions and a necessary victory for CM Punk to maintain his momentum after last night's victory. Cody Rhodes will likely qualify for the King of the Ring Tournament on SmackDown, I imagine. Kevin Nash and Triple H next week? That's huge. It'll be interesting to see what you do with Kane on his return. A tag team situation very reminiscent of my WWE Tag Team Championship Match at Extreme Rules, haha. The corrupt Laurinaitis is the best, hence why I'm doing it in my diary. Divas are just generic nowadays, even I'm struggling with Kharma involved. Didn't expect Christian to win this at all, but kind of glad he did, although I don't see him taking the WWE Championship at WWE: TLC. Wonder what will happen with John Cena and Awesome Truth. A nice Raw.

Friday Night SmackDown! | November 25th, 2011 | Wilkes-Barre, PA
WWE Superstars 11/24 Taping Results Tyson Kidd def. Yoshi Tatsu The Usos def. Tyler Reks and Curt Hawkins
After the WWE signature, cameras were rushing backstage as several Divas could be heard screaming in horror. We then saw World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry grabbing AJ by her arm, pulling her out to arena as the Wilkes-Barre audience showered the World's Strongest Man with boos. He rolled into AJ into the ring before cornering her. He demanded a microphone and told AJ that two weeks ago, her little boyfriend made a fool out of him. A 180 pound, scrawny punk who looks like he should be taking his orders pinned him. Last week, Daniel Bryan got exactly what he deserved - a flat out ass beating. He doesn't care if Bryan broke every bone in his body. And this past Sunday, he did the same to Big Show, and is still standing here as the World Heavyweight Champion. Henry soon screamed at AJ as she tried to look away from him. He's taken care of Daniel Bryan and the Big Show. All that's left....is her. AJ was crying as Henry yelled "Bryan ain't here! Show ain't here! Nobodies gonna save you!" He grabbed AJ by her hair and pulled her into the middle ring. Suddenly, Booker T stood up from his seat at the announce table and rushed into the ring, having seen enough. He turned Henry around and began to strike him as the audience erupted. Booker and Henry traded blows as AJ was able to leave the ring physically unharmed. Booker was able to duck one of Henry's shots and took control from them, soon clotheslining the World Heavyweight Champion over the top rope. Booker picked up the microphone and told Henry that he wasn't going to sit around and watch him torment a woman that's a 5th of his size. If Henry wants to fight someone, then fight him. Henry grabbed another microphone and told Booker that he'll gladly beat his ass too. And he'll do it tonight. The audience popped as Booker told Henry that he'll be more than happy to give him what he deserves in this ring tonight.
BREAK
Returning from the commercial break, a recap of what just transpired was shown. Before Mark Henry could physically harm AJ, Booker T made the save and sent Henry flying out of the ring. The two of them will be meeting one-on-one later tonight.
The brackets for the King of the Ring tournament were shown as this past Monday on RAW, four men qualified. The United States Champion Zack Ryder, David Otunga, and the WWE Tag Team Champions The Miz and R-Truth. Tonight, four SmackDown superstars will solidify their spots in the tournament.
Sheamus def. Jinder Mahal to qualify for KOTR The winner of last year's King of the Ring tournament was looking to take the first step towards a repeat here tonight. Sheamus was able to slide out of Jinder's Power Slam attempt, delivering a Brogue Kick to him to pick up the victory.
Sheamus raised his arms in victory as a graphic appeared, placing his name into the mix of things for the King of the Ring. Can last year's winner repeat victory this year and become King of the Ring once again?
Backstage, Wade Barrett was shown watching a monitor, looking on at Sheamus celebrating. Scott Stanford approached Wade and asked for his thoughts on tonight's Triple Threat match against Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton for a spot in King of the Ring. Barrett reminded everyone of what he did at Survivor Series. He eliminated 3 of the 4 members of Team Orton single handedly. He was the MVP of Survivor Series. Nobody was talking about The Rock, or John Cena, or CM Punk. They were talking about him. And tonight, they'll be talking about him after he solidifies his spot in the King of the Ring tournament. And next Monday on RAW, everyone will be talking about him again after he takes his rightful place on the throne.
BREAK
The RAW Rebound was shown at this time, focusing on the main event bout between John Cena and Christian. Due to outside interference from The Miz and R-Truth, Christian was able defeat Cena. RAW's main event at TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs is now set as the new WWE Champion CM Punk defend his title against Christian and Alberto Del Rio in a Triple Threat Match.
Backstage, Scott Stanford was standing by with the Viper, Randy Orton. Scott asked Orton for his take on what happened this past Sunday at Survivor Series with the masked man. Orton said that as far as the identity of the man, it could be anyone. He's pissed off more people than he can count in this business. However, he doesn't care who it is. If he's ever in his sights again, he'll rip that mask apart and punt a dent into his skull. As for tonight, he has something else to worry about. He's focused on taking out Cody Rhodes and Wade Barrett, and moving on the King of the Ring tournament, which he vows to win.
Sin Cara def. Drew McIntyre to qualify for KOTR A very solid bout here. Coming off of a disappointing showing at Survivor Series, Sin Cara was looking to bounce back with a spot in the King of the Ring tournament. McIntyre, who took out the Great Khali last week, was looking to further his momentum. Cara managed to counter the Future Shock DDT into La Mistica, forcing Drew to submit.
Sin Cara celebrated his victory as the updated brackets for the King of the Ring tournament were shown. Sin Cara joins Sheamus, Zack Ryder, David Otunga, The Miz, and R-Truth in the tournament coming next Monday on RAW SuperShow.
Cutting to another camera, Booker T was shown putting on his knee pads when AJ walked into his room. Still in a panic, she thanked Booker for saving her. Booker told her that he's sorry he couldn't do the same for Daniel Bryan, but he couldn't just sit back and watch Henry do something that he would've regretted. But he knows that he won't regret what he's going to do to Mark Henry tonight.
BREAK
Resurrection.......is near
Wade Barrett def. Randy Orton and Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes to qualify for KOTR Orton found himself competing against the two men who stood tall as the sole survivors against him this past Sunday. The announcers noted that Cody and Wade owe their victory to the mysterious masked man, who was nowhere to be seen tonight. After Orton planted Cody with an RKO, Barrett rolled him up with a handful of tights to steal the victory.
Barrett rolled out of the ring and raised his arms in victory as Orton's eyes stared intensely as this match was just stolen from him. Nonetheless, Wade Barrett's name was placed into the brackets for the King of the Ring tournament that he has promised to come out from triumphant. As Rhodes was stirring to his feet, Orton took him down with another RKO. He continued to stare at Barrett, letting him know that he'll be keeping a good eye on him.
A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry takes on Booker T, tonight on SmackDown.
BREAK
A video package was shown for the WWE's anti-bullying campaign, Be A Star.
Natalya def. Kaitlyn Natalya, who was coming off of a losing effort at Survivor Series, was determined to bounce back with a victory here. And she succeeded after forcing Kaitlyn to submit to the Sharpshooter.
Backstage, Cody Rhodes was shown leaving the arena when Scott Stanford caught up with him, asking for his thoughts on his loss tonight. Cody said that it doesn't bother him that he's not in the King of the Ring tournament. He's still the Intercontinental Champion, and he knows that he's better than every single guy in the locker room. And he hopes that Teddy Long is sane enough to realize that. Which is why he feels, no, he knows that he should be the next No.1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. All he's waiting for is for Teddy Long to make it official.
BREAK
A still shot of the WWE.COM homepage was shown, featuring The Rock standing tall in Madison Square Garden after his victory for Team Cena. Catch the encore presentation of Survivor Series, airing all weekend.
Ted DiBiase wins a 10-Men Battle Royal to qualify for KOTR Every participant in this match could be considered an underdog for King of the Ring, so they were all looking for the opportunity to prove the world wrong. Trent Barreta, Yoshi Tatsu, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Heath Slater, and Tyson Kidd. Those were the eliminations leading up to the final four of Ted DiBiase, Hunico, Ezekiel Jackson, and Justin Gabriel. As Gabriel and Hunico were battling on the ring apron, Hunico delivered a roundhouse kick that sent Gabriel down to the floor. Jackson thought he had eliminated DiBiase, but he hung on. Jackson charged at him as Ted pulled down the ropes, sending Big Zeke out. After a short battle with Hunico, DiBiase was able to toss him out to get the victory.
DiBiase raised his arms in the air and celebrated his victory as the finalized brackets were brought up. This Monday on RAW SuperShow, a new King of the Ring will be crowned in Zack Ryder, David Otunga, The Miz, R-Truth, Sheamus, Sin Cara, Wade Barrett, or Ted DiBiase. Who will take their spot on the throne next Monday?
Backstage, Booker T was shown walking down a corridor. The 6 time World Champion makes a rare in ring appearance as he takes on the World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry, next.
BREAK
A promo was shown for TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs. Live Sunday December 18th, only on Pay-Per-View.
World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry def. Booker T Booker T, who stood up for AJ at the top of the show, took it to Henry here, showing that he still has it. The six time World Champion nearly had the victory after a huge Book End, but Henry managed to kick out. As Booker was going for a Scissors Kick, Henry caught him and planted him with the World's Strongest Slam to get the victory.
Henry was handed the World Heavyweight Title as the audience expressed their displeasure for his victory. He quickly shoved the referee out of the way and grabbed a steel chair. He placed it on Booker's ankle, intending to induct him into his Hall of Pain. Suddenly, the theme of the Big Show hit as he marched down to the ring. Henry took his World Title and slid out of the ring as Show tended to Booker. The World's Largest Athlete grabbed a microphone and told Henry that at Survivor Series, he let the World Heavyweight Title slip away from him. He lost because he let his anger get to him. He just spoke to Teddy Long, who was very happy to grant his request after what Mark did to AJ earlier. Next week, on the live Tuesday SmackDown, they'll be meeting one final time for the World Heavyweight Champion. "And if I can't beat you, I'll leave the WWE. You have my word," said Big Show. Next week's live Tuesday SmackDown just became a massive one as the Big Show meets Mark Henry one more time for the World Heavyweight Championship. And if Show fails to win, he's vowing to leave the WWE for good.

King Of the Ring looks pretty exciting, Miz vs Dibiase sounds like it could be a well worked match, the other 3 matches I feel like I can predict the winners being Otunga, Wade Barrett & Sheamus, excited to see who wins the overall tournament however the semi-finals and finals seem to always make a me a happy camper in tournaments

Its a shame I've missed this for so long, this looks great. Good layout and lots of effort always makes a good diary in my book. I really like Punks opening to Raw as he talks about the other wrestlers. The trending stuff I don't really like but at least it isn't in the write ups. The KotR returning sounds good, could be a huge platform for one of the lowercarders. Punk/Rhodes sounded good. Wonder where you'll go with the Resurrection stuff. Loving Christian over Cena for no.1 contender didn't see that coming. Again, loving the opening to SD. Henry grabbing AJ like that and Booker springing up for the save is a great way to start the show. All the right guys won thier qualifying matches. Would have liked to see Cody in there, him playing the king role would be good to see but Barrett is also a good choice. Couldn't see Booker beating the champ but a good match. Why didn't Show turn up earlier? Epic ending to set up the main event next week. Got me hooked anyway, I can't see Show losing and leaving but a title change on Smackdown? Either way you got a brave choice to make. Good KotR brackets my early prediction will be Barrett, but theres plenty there I'd be happy with. Good luck.

RAW SuperShow | November 28th, 2011 | Columbia, SC
WWE Superstars 12/1 Taping Results Eve and Alicia Fox def. The Bella Twins Jack Swagger def. Alex Riley
Pyro shot from the stage as cameras scanned the audience here in Columbia. The usual commentary unit of Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler welcomed everyone to a special 3-hour edition of RAW SuperShow. Cameras focused on the throne set up on the stage, where 8 men will compete tonight for the right to claim that throne as theirs and be crowned King of the Ring. Plus, a huge main event as we will be getting a preview of TLC in 3 weeks. WWE Champion CM Punk, Christian, and Alberto Del Rio battle in a Triple Threat Match, with the winner being allowed to name the stipulation for the championship match at TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs.
The WWE Universe here in Columbia were on their feet as the theme of Triple H hit. The Game marched down to the ring in regular street gear, just as he did at Survivor Series when he was arrested after assaulting Kevin Nash, David Otunga, referees, and security guards. Last week, Nash challenged Triple H to meet him here tonight for a fight, which clearly, Hunter has come for. He stood in the middle of the ring, waiting for Nash. Instead of Big Sexy, David Otunga made his way down to the ring to a chorus of boos. Otunga told Triple H that his client, Mr. Nash, would've loved nothing more than to be here tonight to give him the fight of his life. However, it is his unfortunate duty to inform Triple H that Mr. Nash suffered a severe ankle injury this past weekend. Doctors have not cleared him to wrestle, and he's been told that they will not until 2012. The audience was clearly disappointed as they were anticipating a fight between Triple H and Kevin Nash. Otunga thanked Triple H for his time before making his way out of the ring, or at least trying to. Triple H turned Otunga around and planted him with a Pedigree. Hunter picked up Otunga's microphone and told him that if Nash won't be cleared until 2012, then that's when they'll fight. He wants Kevin Nash in a No Holds Barred Match on January 2nd, the first edition of RAW in 2012. And if John Laurinaitis won't grant him that, then he'll let out his frustrations on him instead. Triple H threw the mic onto the ground, livid that he'll have to wait until January 2nd to finally get his hands on Kevin Nash.
BREAK Trending: Triple H, January 2nd
Returning from the commercial break, a recap of what just took place was shown. Cutting back to the arena, Michael Cole informed the viewers at home that during the commercial break, Mr. John Laurinaitis reported on Twitter that he will be making official the No Holds Barred Match between Triple H and Kevin Nash on January 2nd. But before we get to 2012, we look towards the King of the Ring tournament. Tonight, 8 men will compete, but only one will be able to take their spot on the throne and deem themselves "King."
Sheamus def. WWE Tag Team Champion R-Truth in a King of the Ring Quarterfinals Match A decent way to kick off the 2011 King of the Ring tournament. Truth, who owes this opportunity to John Laurinaitis, was given another reason to believe in his conspiracy as Sheamus nailed him with a Brogue Kick as he was coming off the top rope, giving the Great White the victory.
Sheamus raised his arms in victory as the defending king will be advancing to the Semi-Finals. He will be meeting Wade Barrett or Sin Cara later on tonight.
Backstage, David Otunga was shown in John Laurinaitis' office, still feeling the effects of the Pedigree he took at the top of the show. Laurinaitis said that Triple H has no business putting his hands on superstars as the COO. He'll be meeting with the Board of Directors later his week to discuss Hunter's reckless behavior. "What about me?" asked Otunga. Laurinaitis told Otunga that he needs to go out there and become King of the Ring. Otunga made his way out of the office. He meets the United States Champion Zack Ryder in a Quarterfinals match next.
BREAK Trending: Sheamus, #KOTR
A promo was shown for tomorrow night's live Tuesday SmackDown. In one of the biggest main events in SmackDown history, Mark Henry will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against the Big Show for one final time. If Show fails to capture the championship, he has vowed to leave the WWE. It's a Live Tuesday SmackDown, tomorrow night on SyFy.
United States Champion Zack Ryder def. David Otunga in a King of the Ring Quarterfinals Match The audience was hot for Long Island Iced Z, who may very well be the WWE Universe's favorite to win it all tonight. Otunga, who took a Pedigree from Triple H earlier tonight, couldn't bounce back as Ryder was able to finish him off with the Rough Ryder to advance on in the tournament.
Ryder was handed the United States Title as he first pumped with Carolina. The updated brackets were shown, placing Ryder in the Semi-Finals. He'll be taking on the winner of the match between Ted DiBiase and The Miz later on tonight.
Backstage, John Laurinaitis was shown in his office, watching the TV monitor in disappointment. Soon, Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston walked into the office. Kofi and Bourne, still furious with Laurinaitis, asked why he wanted to see them. Laurinaitis told them that even they may not be in the King of the Ring tournament..."Yeah, because of you!" shouted Kofi as Bourne held him back. Laurinaitis told Kofi that he's not showing acceptable behavior tonight. He was going to tell them that they've got the night off, but after that little outburst, he's changed his mind. Tonight, they're going to be competing in a Handicap Match. "Who's our opponent?" asked Bourne. Laurinaitis told them that they'll just have to wait and see. Kofi and Evan made their way out of the room, having gotten into another altercation with John Laurinaitis.
BREAK Trending: Zack Ryder, Air Boom
Resurrection.......is upon us
Wade Barrett def. Sin Cara in a King of the Ring Quarterfinals Match Sin Cara was looking for a bit of retribution here tonight as it was Barrett who eliminated him last Sunday at Survivor Series, as well as advancing on in the tournament. He failed to accomplish either as Barrett planted him with Wasteland to get the victory.
Barrett simply rolled out of the ring and made his way up the ramp, no celebration needed. The updated brackets were shown as we now have our first Semi-Finals match set. It will be Wade Barrett vs. Sheamus later tonight.
Backstage, Alberto Del Rio was shown in his locker room when Christian walked in. Christian tried to greet Del Rio, who simply told Captain Charisma to "shoo." Christian told Del Rio that he might want to listen to him about something. They cannot allow CM Punk to win in the Triple Threat Match tonight. Unlike the two of them, Punk has no class. There's no telling what kind of match he'll choose. He knows that Del Rio will choose wisely, as will he. So he's proposing to Del Rio that they team up tonight. They take out Punk first, and then worry about each other. Del Rio seemed hesitant, but shook Christian's hand.
BREAK Trending: Wade Barrett, Christian
Returning from the commercial break, Josh Mathews was standing by with AJ. Josh asked her for an update on both herself and Daniel Bryan. AJ stated that she's fine. It could've been a lot worse if it weren't for Booker T. "And Daniel.......Daniel's not doing any better. The chances of him returning to the ring are slim. Doctors say he'll be lucky to even walk again. Mark Henry costed Daniel his dream of headlining WrestleMania. And tomorrow night, Big Show will cost Mark Henry the World Heavyweight Title." Josh thanked AJ for her time.
WWE Tag Team Champion The Miz def. Ted DiBiase in a King of the Ring Quarterfinals Match His Awesome Truth partner was eliminated from the tournament earlier, but Miz wasn't ready to meet the same fate. He managed to counter Dream Street into the Skull Crushing Finale to pick up the victory.
Miz was handed his Tag Team Title as he gloated about his victory. The brackets were shown as we now know the other Semi-Finals match. The Miz meets Zack Ryder later tonight on RAW.
BREAK Trending: AJ, The Miz
Backstage, Miz was shown in his locker room telling R-Truth about how he's going to coast through the Semi-Finals since his competition is Zack Ryder. Truth asked "What about me, Miz?" Miz reminded Truth that last week, they screwed John Cena out of the WWE Champion. Nobody has seen Cena yet tonight. He could be anywhere, and he's likely after them. He needs Truth out there to watch his back.
Cutting to the arena, the theme of Air Boom hit as Kofi and Evan made their ways out to the ring. Once they were settled in, John Laurinaitis came out to the stage to his usual negative reception. He told Kofi and Evan that there punishment for defying him are still not over. Right now, they'll be competing a 2-On-1 Handicap Match against......
World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry def. Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston Kofi and Bourne were forced to compete against Mark Henry, who is angry as ever as he is forced to compete against the Big Show one more time tomorrow night. Henry ran right through Bourne and Kofi, who weren't given much of a chance. Henry planted Bourne with a World's Strongest Slam onto Kingston, covering Evan to pick up the victory.
Henry was handed his World Title as he made his way up the entrance ramp, looking ahead to tomorrow night. John Laurinaitis, still on the stage, smiled at the sight of a broken Air Boom, motionless in the ring.
Backstage, Sheamus was shown making his way down a corridor. Last year's King of the Ring looks to become one step closer to a repeat as he faces Wade Barrett next.
BREAK Trending: Air Boom, Mark Henry
Returning from the commercial break, John Laurinaitis was shown in his office with David Otunga, who complimented Laurinaitis for how he handled the rebellious behaviors of Air Boom. After Otunga asked what was next for them, Laurinaitis stated that he's not done with Air Boom yet. Not done at all.
Wade Barrett def. Sheamus via countout in a King of the Ring Semi-Finals Match The two big-men remaining in this tournament took it to each other with hopes of making it to the finals. The action spilled to the outside as the referee was getting closer to the 10 count. Sheamus attempted a Brogue Kick, but Barrett moved out of the way as Sheamus' foot caught the ring post. He dropped to the floor, clutching his foot in pain. Barrett slid into the ring as the referee reached 10, counting Sheamus out.
The audience was furious as Barrett raised his arms high in the air. He made his way up the ramp, keeping his eyes on the throne as he is one match away from taking his place on it. Sheamus looked on, infuriated that his hopes of a repeat had to end through a count out.
Backstage, The Miz and R-Truth were shown making their ways down a corridor as Truth checked every door for John Cena. Miz meets Zack Ryder next in a King of the Ring Semi-Finals match.
BREAK Trending: Wade Barrett, Sheamus
Backstage, WWE Champion CM Punk was shown in his locker room when Josh Mathews walked in, asking Punk for his thoughts on Christian and Del Rio's alliance formed earlier tonight. Punk chuckled, asking how many times we've seen alliances stay intact in a situation like this. He knows there "alliance" will explode tonight, and he'll come out triumphant both tonight, and in 3 weeks at TLC.
United States Champion Zack Ryder def. The Miz in a King of the Ring Semi-Finals Match One of the more exciting King of the Ring bouts of the night. R-Truth accompanied Miz down to the ring, keeping an eye out for John Cena. As Miz was preparing for the Skull Crushing Finale, John Cena ran down to ringside, ducking a clothesline from Truth and planting him with an Attitude Adjustment. This distracted Miz long enough for Ryder to roll him up, snatching the 3 count.
Ryder rolled out of the ring, ecstatic that he'll be moving on to the Finals to meet Wade Barrett. Before Miz could realize what had happened, John Cena chased him into the audience. Cena, who was screwed out of the WWE Championship last week, has gotten back at Miz and Truth by costing them the King of the Ring tournament.
BREAK Trending: Zack Ryder, John Cena
Returning from the commercial break, R-Truth was shown walking into John Laurinaitis' office, asking if Johnny would do anything about that "Psycho" Cena screwing Miz out of the King of the Ring, and chasing him out into the streets. "The Colombian streets that only Lil' Jimmy roams!" Laurinaitis told Truth that he knows exactly what he's going to do. At TLC, he and The Miz will be defending the WWE Tag Team Championships against John Cena and a partner of his choosing.
Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes def. Mason Ryan The announce team put over the fact that Cody Rhodes is a bit on the disappointed side about not being a part of tonight's King of the Ring tournament. Despite the size disadvantage, Rhodes managed to plant Mason with Cross Rhodes to pick up the victory.
Rhodes was handed the Intercontinental Title as he asked for a microphone. He said that even though he's not in the King of the Ring tournament, he doesn't need it. He proves simply through his actions that he is the brightest star in the WWE today. He's the Intercontinental Champion, and is far more talented than everyone who was involved in the tournament. If Teddy Long is paying any attention, he should know that there's no reason why he shouldn't be named the next No.1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. Cody left the ring, making a statement to the SmackDown General Manager here tonight.
The updated King of the Ring brackets were shown. After 6 matches, we now have the Finals set. Up next, Wade Barrett battles United States Champion Zack Ryder. The winner will be able to claim the throne and the title "King" as theirs.
BREAK Trending: Cody Rhodes, Barrett vs. Ryder
A promo was shown for a Live Tuesday SmackDown, tomorrow night on SyFy.
Wade Barrett def. United States Champion Zack Ryder to become the 2011 King of the Ring After fighting to get here, neither Wade or Ryder were ready to say goodbye to the throne. Towards the end, the referee was knocked out after an inadvertent boot from Barrett. When he turned around, Ryder hit him with a huge Rough Ryder. As he was trying to revive the referee, Dolph Ziggler hit the ring and leveled Ryder in the back of the head with the United States Title, Ziggler, who we haven't seen since Survivor Series, tossed the title to the side and made his way up the ramp, knowing he may have just screwed Ryder out of the throne. Barrett picked Ryder up and sent him back down with Wasteland as the referee made the slow 3 count.
Barrett screamed at the top of his lungs as he was announced as the 2011 King of the Ring. Wade stared at the throne for a bit before making his way up the ramp. He took his seat on the throne before allowing the crown to be placed on his head. Zack Ryder came inches away from becoming King of the Ring, but it was Dolph Ziggler who ended up being the decisive factor. Josh Mathews approached Barrett, asking for his thoughts on this victory. Barrett said that over a year ago, he stated that the winds of change would be blowing. Those winds picked up with The Nexus, but they never blew at their fullest potential. Now, the winds are blowing stronger than ever. Wade Barrett is King of the Ring. The Barrett Barrage is in full effect tonight. And nothing will stop him from becoming the next World Heavyweight Champion. Wade Barrett is your 2011 King of the Ring.
BREAK Trending: King Barrett, #BarrettIsKing
A promo was shown for TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs. Live Sunday December 18th, only on Pay-Per-View.
Christian def. WWE Champion CM Punk and Alberto Del Rio With major implications on the Triple Threat Match at TLC, a victory here was a must. As Punk predicted, the alliance between Christian and Del Rio did not last as they both tried to cover Punk, leading to an exchange in blows. Punk nailed Del Rio with a GTS, but as he was getting the cover, Christian grabbed his foot and pulled him out of the ring. Christian quickly slid in the ring and covered Del Rio, stealing the victory.
Christian quickly exited the ring, escaping CM Punk's wrath. Christian was handed a microphone, now being allowed to name the stipulation for the championship match. He said that it shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone what match he is going to choose. It's a match that Punk and Del Rio have only been in once, and a match that he's been in 4 times. The match that he pioneered. When people think of this match, they think of him. In 3 weeks, he will capture the WWE Championship....in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match. Punk, Del Rio, and Christian battle it out at TLC in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match for the WWE Championship.

Right, it's time for the King of the Ring Tournament! Hopefully it's more memorable than Sheamus' victory the previous time. A nice opening segment, and typical heel stuff from Kevin Nash, not being there despite making the challenge. Expected the Pedigree on David Otunga and a No Holds Barred Match on the first episode of Raw in 2012? That's pretty big. Good to see Sheamus picking up the victory and moving on to defend his crown. Disappointed to see David Otunga go out this early, but it made sense after receiving the Pedigree earlier on. But Zack Ryder isn't winning this. I'm a big Sin Cara fan, so disappointed to see him go out also, but Wade Barrett versus Sheamus makes for great matches. Definitely the right move for The Miz to beat Ted DiBiase, but I hope The Miz doesn't win this tournament. I love monstrous Mark Henry, it's his best gimmick. I can't wait to see what you for for SmackDown because while I would love to see Henry retain, I don't see you getting rid of the Big Show. So it should be interesting either way. Wade Barrett over Sheamus is shocking, but it was obvious Sheamus wasn't winning two King of the Ring Tournaments in a row. I could see Barrett taking this whole thing. Very happy to see The Miz taken out, Zack Ryder in the finals is iffy though, but I'm 100% sure Wade Barrett is taking this now. I wonder who John Cena's partner will be for WWE: TLC... could it be The Rock again? Who knows. An obvious victory for Cody Rhodes, I'd love to see him go for the World Heavyweight Championship. Extremely glad to see Wade Barrett take the throne as King of the Ring, it was pretty obvious against Zack Ryder though. Dolph Ziggler screwing over Ryder adds fuel to the fire in their feud. I am still wondering where John Morrison will return into all this. A nice little preview for WWE: TLC, even though I feel it could be giving a bit much away, even without the stipulation for the PPV. Shocked to see Christian win, and I'm still not entirely sure on him being in the match at all, but I only see CM Punk retaining when the time comes.

Live Tuesday SmackDown! | November 29th, 2011 | Charlotte, NC
WWE Superstars 12/1 Tapings Results Tyson Kidd def. Trent Barreta Ted DiBiase def. Jinder Mahal
After the pyrotechnics display, the commentary unit of Michael Cole, Josh Mathews, and Booker T welcomed everyone to a special live Tuesday edition of SmackDown! In what is sure to be one of the biggest main events in SmackDown history, the Big Show will be putting his career on the line against Mark Henry's World Heavyweight Championship. Show has vowed to leave the WWE if he is defeated tonight. Can Big Show finally defeat Mark Henry and capture the World Heavyweight Title, or will the World's Strongest Man continue his reign of terror? Plus, the coronation of the 2011 King of the Ring Wade Barrett will be held tonight as Wade speaks to the WWE Universe on this remarkable occasion.
The theme of the Big Show hit as the WWE Universe showed their appreciation for the World's Largest Athlete on what could be his final night here in the WWE. Show was handed a microphone before saying that 2011 hasn't exactly been his year. And all of this misery is thanks to one man - Mark Henry. For months now, Henry has tormented him and made his life a living hell. Whether it was slamming him through a table, sending him crashing through a steel cage, or crushing his ankle with a steel chair. At Vengeance and Survivor Series, he had opportunities at not only revenge, but the World Heavyweight Championship as well. At Vengeance, they literally imploded this ring. And at Survivor Series, his emotions got the better of him and he ended up handing the victory to Henry. He figured that was it. That was his last chance at retribution. He didn't even plan on appearing last week. He stayed back at the hotel to watch the show. But seeing what Mark Henry did to AJ, tormenting a young woman who has absolutely nothing to do with this, that changed everything. It made him realize that Mark Henry needs to be stopped. Teddy Long was seemingly reluctant to give him another opportunity at Henry, which is understandable considering he's already had two shots. He needed to put something of his own on the line. That's why he's put his career at stake. "I said it last week, and I'll say it again. If I don't defeat Mark Henry tonight, if I don't leave Charlotte as the World Heavyweight Champion, I will leave the WWE for good." Show stated that he understands this could be his last night here. However, he doesn't plan on that being the case. He plans on standing next week, and the week after, and the week after, and so on. And he plans on standing here as the World Heavyweight Champion. He's going to do it for himself, AJ, Daniel Bryan, and everyone else who has had endure Mark Henry's reign of terror. Show's music played as he left up the entrance ramp, having spoken to the WWE Universe for possibly the final time.
BREAK Trending: Big Show, Mark Henry
Returning from the commercial break, the theme of the Awesome Truth hit as Miz and Truth made their ways down to the ring, reminding the WWE Universe that "they suck." Miz addressed John Laurinaitis' decision to grant John Cena a match against them at TLC for their WWE Tag Team Championships. It doesn't matter to them who Cena's partner is. It could be Zack Ryder. It could be Hornswoggle. Hell, it could even be The Rock. Whoever his partner is, the result will still be the same. "They're gon' get got! And that's.....AWESOME!"
WWE Tag Team Champions The Miz and R-Truth def. The Usos With John Cena and a mystery partner waiting for them at TLC, Miz and Truth were looking for a momentum-gaining victory here against a rising team here on SmackDown. In the end, Miz and Truth planted Jey Uso with their Skull Crushing Finale/Shut Up! combo to pick up the victory.
Miz and Truth were handed the WWE Tag Team Titles as they raised them high in the air. They made their ways up the ramp, knowing that they've got Cena and a partner of his choosing coming in 3 weeks at TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs.
Backstage, SmackDown GM Teddy Long was shown in his office, speaking to Aksana. Suddenly, a man with shaggy hair walked in. He simply stared at Long and Aksana before being asked if he needed something. "I'm looking for the man in charge," said the mystery man. Long, confused look on his face, stated that that would be him. The man grabbed Teddy's face and squinted his eyes for a few seconds before saying "Oh, it is you." Long and Aksana were completely baffled by this man's awkward behavior before Long hesitantly asked him to take a seat.
BREAK Trending: Awesome Truth, #CallHollywood
A video package was shown highlighting Mark Henry's reign of terror, starting back in April when the World's Strongest Man was drafted to SmackDown. Since then, Henry has caused terror for just about every SmackDown superstars, even Divas in AJ's case. Henry's reign of terror ultimately led to a reign as World Heavyweight Champion, defeating Randy Orton back at Night of Champions in September.
Drew McIntyre vs. The Great Khali ended in a Double Count-out Two weeks ago, McIntyre intentionally got himself disqualified after assaulting Khali with a chair. This week, Khali was a lot more reckless towards Drew, not allowing him much breathing time. Khali chopped him over the top rope, where the match would soon end. Drew tripped Khali, causing him to fall face first onto the steel steps. McIntyre headed up the entrance ramp as Khali remained on the ground, leaving the referee no choice but to count both men out.
McIntyre was all smiles, not bothered at all by the result. The WWE Universe expressed their displeasure towards Drew, weaseling his way out of another match with Khali.
Backstage, Teddy Long and Aksana were shown leaving their office, having finished speaking to the mysterious man. "Sign him," said Aksana quickly. Teddy seemed bewildered by Aksana's acceptance towards the man. She said that he's mysterious, creepy, and dangerous. He could bring something to SmackDown that has been missing. "I don't know. He doesn't seem.....not all there," said Teddy. He opened the door slightly, observing the man as he sniffed flowers that were on a desk.

Resurrection.........could it be?
Cutting to the arena, the ring was propped with a red carpet and a throne, which can only mean one thing. Justin Roberts introduced the 2011 King of the Ring, Wade Barrett. Wade stepped out to the stage, observing the audience that showered him with boos. He marched down to the ring with his smug, arrogant expression. Cole remarked about how much Barrett looks like a king, while Josh and Booker felt that Wade's path to the throne could argue that he doesn't quite deserve this. Barrett took his seat on the throne as the crown was placed on his head. He simply stared at the audience for a moment before speaking. "The winds of change started with my arrival on NXT. They picked up during the tenure of the Nexus. Now, the winds are blowing at full speed because Wade Barrett has taken his rightful spot as the King of the Ring." He went on to say that it was never in question whether or not he would come out of the tournament triumphant. Look at who he had to go through in the Finals. Zack Ryder. "Are you kidding me? You people would have been accepting of that joke as the King of the Ring?" Barrett stated that he's ashamed of the WWE Universe. They're unbeknownst to real talent. Soon, they'll all be forced to recognize his talents. They'll all kneel to his feet. And that is because sooner than later, Wade Barrett will add one more thing to his already astounding resume. NXT Season 1 winner, 2011 King of the Ring, and the next World Heavyweight Champion.
Soon, Barrett was cut off by the theme of Sheamus, sparking a huge ovation from the WWE Universe. The Great White stepped into the ring, apologizing to Barrett for interrupting his little party. "What the hell are you doing interrupting your king?" angrily asked Barrett. Sheamus said that he just thought he's stop by to set one thing straight with Barrett. He never pinned him during their match last night. He weaseled his way into the Finals due to a count out. If Wade really wants to prove that he deserves to be King of the Ring, he'll prove it by fighting him right here and right now. Because if anyone around here deserves to be next in line for a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship, it's him. And he'll prove it by kicking his head off. Before things could get physical between Barrett and Sheamus, Cody Rhodes made his way down to the ring. "You deserve a World Title shot, Sheamus? You deserve a shot too, Barrett?" Cody told the two of them that there is only one man who truly deserves to be the No.1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Title. And if you want to know why, it's because he's wearing the Intercontinental Championship around his waist right now. Cody even said that he's far more talented than either Wade or Sheamus. It would completely idiotic of Teddy Long to not agree with him. As Cody was bragging on, the WWE Universe was on their feet as Randy Orton marched down to the ring, joining the fray. Orton stated that he wouldn't bore anybody by bragging about what he's done, or what he will do. There's nobody else who should be next in line for a World Heavyweight Championship match. "Sheamus, have you ever bounced back after I beat you in Hell in a Cell? The Nexus was never the same after I defeated you not once, not twice, but three times. Was it, Wade? And Cody, you know better than anyone else what I'm capable of." Orton made his case as to why he should be the next No.1 Contender, receiving a nice pop from the audience here in Charlotte. Barrett exploded at the fans, stating that it doesn't matter what they think. What matters are the facts. He's standing here right now as the King of the Ring, the stepping stone to World Heavyweight Championship. Cody interrupted Wade, claiming that the Intercontinental Championship is the real stepping stone. As the of them argued, they were attacked by Orton and Sheamus. A brawl ensued between the four of them, causing officials and referees to try and restrain them. Orton, Barrett, Rhodes, and Sheamus all continued to brawl as a good question was raised by the commentary team. Who really deserves to be next in line for a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship?
BREAK Trending: Wade Barrett, #NextInLineShouldBe
Returning from the commercial break, Teddy Long was shown in his office once again, speaking with the mysterious man. "I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm interested in signing you to SmackDown." The man simply stared at Teddy before saying "Thank you Mr. Thaddeus." Before the man left, Teddy asked for his name. "Dean Ambrose," he said before walking away.
Sin Cara def. Heath Slater A decent match up here. Coming off of a first-round defeat last night in the King of the Ring tournament, Sin Cara was looking to bounce back. Luckily for him, he managed to force Slater to submit to La Mistica to pick up the victory.
Sin Cara raised his arms in victory as he celebrated this win. Suddenly, he was attacked from behind by Hunico, Primo, and Epico. The three of them assaulted Cara before Epico hit a superkick, followed by a Backstabber from Primo, and finally capping it off with a Senton from Hunico. The three of them stood over Sin Cara as Hunico shouted "This ain't over, Cara!"
Backstage, Big Show was shown in his locker room speaking on the phone with somebody. "No, I don't really think I know what I'm doing. But it doesn't matter. I have to do it. Thanks. I'll see you later, Daniel." Show prepares for quite possibly the biggest of his career as it is one the line against Mark Henry's World Heavyweight Championship later tonight.
BREAK Trending: Dean Ambrose, Sin Cara
The RAW Rebound was shown, focusing on the Triple Threat main event. Christian managed to swipe a victory from WWE Champion CM Punk, giving him the power to choose the stipulation for the championship match at TLC in 3 weeks. It didn't take Christian long to decide as he announced that the title will be up for grabs in his match. Tables, Ladders and Chairs.
Tamina def. Kaitlyn A simply Diva's bout here. Kaitlyn tried to hang in here, but the match was all Tamina as she dominated. She finished off Kaitlyn with a Superfly Splash to pick up the victory.
Backstage, the Big Show was shown leaving his locker room as most of the faces cleared the path for him. They all stared at him as he made his way down to the ring for possibly the final time. It's Big Show's career vs. Mark Henry's World Heavyweight Championship. It's live, and up next.
BREAK Trending: Tamina, Big Show
A promo was shown for TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs. Live Sunday December 18th, only on Pay-Per-View.
Mark Henry def. Big Show (Retains World Heavyweight Championship) The audience was ready for this one as everything was on the line. Towards the end of the match, a silence came upon the crowd as Mark Henry managed to get his foot on the bottom rope after taking a WMD. Show, basically out of ideas, found himself resorting to Henry's own finisher, the World's Strongest Slam. Show lifted Henry, but the champion's weight was too much for him to handle as he fell back. Show stirred to his feet, but turned around and walked into the World's Strongest Slam as Henry covered him to get the victory and end his career.
The WWE Universe couldn't believe what they were seeing. Mark Henry has defeated the Big Show, finally settling to score and retaining the World Heavyweight Championship. But ultimately, they were stunned at what this means. The Big Show's career is over.
Mark Henry didn't spend any time celebrating as he wanted to send Show out with a bang. He grabbed a steel chair and placed it on his ankle, a sight the we've seen before. The audience pleaded with Henry to stop, feeling he's done enough. As Henry climbed up onto the second rope, fire blasted from the stage as the lights shut. Soon, the audience was on their feet as Kane was standing on the stage! The Big Red Monster marched down to the ring for the first time since July, where it Henry who took him out. Kane, who was sporting an outfit similar to his 2002 gear, stepped over the top rope as a metallic helmet was shown covering his head. Henry grabbed the chair and swung at his head, but Kane ducked it and grabbed Henry by his throat, planting him with a huge Chokeslam. Kane did his fire pose while standing over Henry. He then slowly removed the metal helmet to reveal another mask. Kane has been resurrected, and the now-masked Big Red Monster has his sights set on Mark Henry and the World Heavyweight Championship.

WWE Superstars 12/8 Taping Results Michael McGillicutty def. Justin Gabriel David Otunga def. Alex Riley
After the WWE signature intro, cameras cut directly to the arena here in Tampa as the theme of John Cena hits. Cena makes his way out to the stage to a rather loud mixed reaction. He runs down to the ring as the commentary duo of Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler mention the match for TLC in 2 weeks that John Laurinaitis made official last week. The Miz and R-Truth defend the WWE Tag Team Championships against Cena and a partner of his choosing. The only question is whether or no Cena has found a partner. Cena grabbed a mic as he observed the audience's reactions. "That's why I love the WWE," stated Cena. He mentioned that tonight's RAW is coming to everyone live from Tampa, Florida. No too far from here is where he will have the biggest match of his career on April 1st at WrestleMania XXVIII. Tons of "Rocky" chants at that point. Last week, John Laurinaitis made a match for TLC. "In one corner, you have the WWE's conspiracy victims, and the WWE Tag Team Champions The Miz and R-Truth. And in the other corner, you have John Cena and......." Cena stopped himself there before reminding himself that he needs to find a partner. And right now, we're going to utilize the beauty of live TV. There's a few WWE crew members who are in Miami right now, and when we come back form a commercial break, we will be joined by The Rock live via the only way he can "bring it," satellite. And just like he did for Survivor Series, he's going to ask Rocky one important question. Will he be his partner in two weeks at TLC! The audience popped as in just a few moments, we will be joined by The Rock love via satellite.
BREAK Trending: John Cena, #IBringItViaSatellite
Returning from the commercial break, John Cena was shown in the ring waiting patiently as more "Rocky" chants filled the atmosphere. Soon, The Rock was shown on the titantron, coming to everyone via satellite from his home in Miami. "John, what the hell do you want? No wait, before we get to that, FINALLY....The Rock has come back to Tampa." The audience went wild chanting Rock's name as Cena tried to speak. "John, you shut your mouth when the people are chanting The Rock's name." Cena smiled as the audience continued to do so. "John, you want to ask The Rock if he'll be your partner at TLC? You want to be Tag Team Champions with The Rock. You want to fight side by side with the Great One? John, my answer is........hell no." Cena seemed surprised as the audience gave Rock's decision a mixed reaction. "But John, I'm not gonna lie. The Rock does owe you one. Because of you, Survivor Series was the greatest night of The Rock's professional career. The electricity in Madison Square Garden was unlike anything else. The fans telling The Rock that he still has it. The millions (and millions) of Rock's fans cheering as he whooped some Awesome Truth ass. So John, here's what The Rock is gonna do for you. He's got some people on speed dial, and he'll make the phone calls. And by the end of the night, you will know who your partner is for TLC......If you smell.....what The Rock.....is......cookin'." Rock's theme hit as the audience cheered him on. Cena simply smiled in the ring, knowing that even though he won't be getting the partner he wanted, he'll still have on courtesy of The Rock. Before tonight's show end, the world will know who Cena's partner will be in two weeks at TLC.
Backstage, Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston were shown in their locker room, still feeling the effects of their encounter last week with Mark Henry. Will John Laurinaitis have any more punishment for Air Boom as they meet Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger next.
BREAK Trending: The Rock
Returning from the commercial break, The Miz and R-Truth were shown in their locker room, Truth wondering who Cena's partner will be. "See Miz, this is actually a handicap match. John Cena is supposed to choose his own partner. Not The Rock. It's 3-on-2 for us. The conspiracy is still alive, Miz." Miz simply stared at Truth and told him that everything will be alright. Does he actually think Rock is going to help Cena. Rock is going to find the fattest, laziest person he can find and stick him with Cena. Yes, it will be a handicap match at TLC. It will basically be 2-on-1 with them against Cena. Truth smiled, realizing that Miz was right.
Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger def. Air Boom An old rivalry renewed here. Evan and Kingston needed to have eyes in the back of their head as John Laurinaitis could very well still be out to get them. Ziggler, who competed here for the first time since Survivor Series, was looking very impressive as a new found aggression was displayed, still fuming about his "embarrassing" loss to Zack Ryder. In the end, Ziggler planted Evan with the Zig-Zag to pick up the victory.
Ziggler and Swagger celebrated their victory with Vickie Guerrero, standing tall as Ziggler "showed off" with a handstand. The three of them fist pumped simultaneously, mocking the United States Champion Zack Ryder. Ziggler still has the power of choosing the stipulation for his rematch with Ryder. Will we find out tonight what match he has chosen?
Backstage, WWE Champion CM Punk was shown in his locker room when Josh Mathews approached him, asking for his thoughts on defending his championship in two weeks in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match. Punk stated that it wasn't like it a surprise or anything. That's the match he would've chosen had he won, and he's certain that's what Alberto Del Rio would've chosen. So if Josh is asking if he's concerned, no. Christian may have more experience, but in the end it all comes down to who's better. And he's not just better than Christian and Del Rio. He's the best in the world. But tonight, he has a few words for Christian about something that he said last week.
BREAK Trending: Air Boom, Dolph Ziggler
Returning from the commercial break, Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne were shown walking backstage, having just fallen to Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger. They were met by John Laurinaitis, who complimented them on their performance. "What are you gonna do now? Fire us? Suspend us? Make us clean your toilet?" asked Kofi. Laurinaitis said that he may have been hard on them over the past few weeks, but he would never force them to do something degrading like those options. However, their punishment still has one final stage. And it will come at TLC. "So what are you planning for us? A gauntlet match? A ridiculous handicap match?" asked Bourne. Laurinaitis told them that he feels a bit hurt that they would assume he would treat them like that. Laurinaitis announced that at TLC, Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne will be competing against........each other. Bourne and Kofi were stunned as this was the last thing they wanted. Before leaving, Laurinaitis reminded them that he just said he wouldn't fire them. However, if he doesn't see a competitive match at TLC, then they can kiss their jobs goodbye.
Natalya def. Eve, Kelly Kelly, and Tamina to become the No.1 Contender for the Diva's Championship A decent Diva's bout here. Natalya and Tamina remained dominant throughout most of the match before meeting on another. The two of them were basically equal in terms of strength, but Kelly and Eve were able to attack them. Tamina hit a Superfly Splash on Kelly, but Natalya got a hold of her and locked in the Sharpshooter. Tamina struggled, but couldn't reach the ropes as she submitted.
Natalya raised her arms in victory as she was declared the No.1 contender. However, her smile turned to a frown once she saw Diva's Champion Beth Phoenix on the stage, shocked that her own partner would get the victory tonight. Natalya and Beth stared at one another, almost as if Natalya was saying "Oh well." The Divas of Doom face off against each other at TLC for the Diva's Championship.
Backstage, Christian was shown making his way down a corridor. One of the men who will compete for the WWE Championship in two weeks will join Cole and Lawler on commentary as Alberto Del Rio and the WWE Champion CM Punk collide in a Survivor Series rematch next.
BREAK Trending: Air Boom, Divas of Doom
A promo was shown for this Friday's edition of SmackDown. After his shocking return last week, what will the resurrected Kane have to say to World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry? Plus, what will be the fate of the No.1 Contendership that Wade Barrett, Sheamus, Cody Rhodes, and Randy Orton have all claimed to be theirs?
A special thanks was given to Nine Lashes for "Adrenaline." It is the official theme song for TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs. TLC is live in two weeks from Baltimore, Maryland, only on Pay-Per-View.
WWE Champion CM Punk def. Alberto Del Rio A Survivor Series rematch from two weeks ago, where Punk defeated Del Rio to capture the WWE Championship. Christian joined the commentary table to watch this match closely as these three men will compete in a TLC match in 13 days for the WWE Title. Punk managed to counter Del Rio's Cross Armbreaker set-up into the GTS to pick up the victory.
Punk was handed the WWE Title as he raised it high in the air. He stepped out to ringside, asking for a microphone. He then approached Christian, getting ready to drop a pipe bomb on Captain Charisma. Punk told Christian that last week, he said something that really bothered him. But instead of explaining it, he'll just roll the footage. The titantron then displayed footage from last week's RAW after Christian scored the victory in the main event. "When people think of this match, they think of me." That's where Punk asked for the footage to be stopped. "Christian, when people think of TLC, you're not the first name people think of. You may be one of the pioneers for that match, but you're not THE pioneer. When the phrase 'Tables, Ladders and Chairs' pops into people's heads, they don't instantly think of you. They think of Edge." The audience popped for Edge's name as Christian was clearly bothered by Punk's mentioning of him. "And let's face it, Christian. The only reason you have 2 World Heavyweight Championships on your resume is because Edge retired. You see, when he retired, you were saddened. And I understand that. He's your best friend. But now, you probably see it as the best thing that ever happened to you. Without Edge retiring, you would've been stuck in the mid-card this whole time, which is where you've spent most of your career anyways. And you claim to use the Spear in Edge's honor? I know why you really use the Spear. It's the same reason why you clamor for 'one more match.' And it's the same reason why you chose a TLC match last week. You want to prove to the world that you're better than Edge. Christian, you're damn talented at this, but understand something. You are not, and will never be, better than Edge." At that moment, Christian's eyes looked as if he were ready to kill Punk on the spot. However, Alberto Del Rio attacked Punk from behind before tossing him back into the ring, where he locked in the Cross Armbreaker. After Del Rio let go of the hold, he motioned for the WWE Championship before making his way up the ramp. As Punk stirred to his feet, Christian slid in. He geared Punk up for the Spear before hitting it. Christian stared down at Punk, who just dropped an enormous pipe bomb on him.
BREAK Trending: CM Punk, Christian, Edge
Returning from the commercial break, Christian was shown walking backstage as Josh Mathews tried to have a word with him, asking if there's any truth to what Punk just said. Christian simply ignored Josh before slamming his locker room door shut.
Wade Barrett def. United States Champion Zack Ryder These two met in the Finals of the King of the Ring tournament last week, which saw Wade Barrett come out victorious. Ryder was looking for a shot at revenge in this match. As Ryder gearing up for the Rough Ryder, Dolph Ziggler made his way out the stage, distracting the United States Champion. When Ryder attempted the Rough Ryder, Barrett was able to counter it into the Wasteland to pick up the victory.
The reigning King of the Ring raised his arms in victory before making his way up the entrance ramp. Ziggler walked down to the ringside, grabbing a ladder out from underneath the ring. He patiently waited for Ryder to get back up to his feet before blasting him in the face with it. He set up the ladder before grabbing the United States Championship, climbing to to the top of the ladder to raise the championship. It looks like Ziggler has made his decision. He will meet Zack Ryder at TLC for the United States Championship in a Ladder Match.
Footage from last Tuesday's live edition of SmackDown was shown, focusing on the huge main event. Mark Henry defeated the Big Show to only retain the World Heavyweight Championship, but end Show's career. Before Henry could crush Show's ankle once again, a returning Kane made his way down to the ring. He planted Henry with a Chokeslam before revealing his mask. Up next, we will present an interview with Mark Henry conducted by Jim Ross from this past weekend.
BREAK Trending: Wade Barrett, Zack Ryder
Returning from the commercial break, Josh Mathews was shown standing outside of John Cena's locker room, waiting for any updates on whether or not The Rock has lived up to his word of finding a partner for him. Cena soon walked out of his room as Mathews asked Cena the question in regards to his partner. Cena said that he can't get a hold of Rock. Twitter, e-mail, text messages, Rock isn't answering anything. He hates to say it, but he thinks Dwayne just juked him.
At this time, an interview with World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry conducted by Jim Ross was shown. JR thanked Henry for his time. The first thing he asked the World Champion was if he feels any satisfaction out of ending the Big Show's career. Henry said that he doesn't gain satisfaction from just that, but seeing the faces of everyone in the WWE Universe when it happened. The same people who laughed at him. The people who refer to him as "Kool-Aid" or "Sexual Chocolate" still. If people want to stamp him with a nickname, here's one they can try on - career killer. It wasn't just Show's career that he ended. He also sent Daniel Bryan into an early retirement. JR asked Henry if he feels remorse in any way in regards to what he did to Daniel Bryan. Because he needs to consider where Bryan was at in his career. He was on his way to headlining WrestleMania, something that many people felt he never even come close to. And just months before he can achieve his dream, he faces career threatening injuries. Henry stated that if this were a few months ago, then yes. He would feel remorse for Daniel Bryan because they were in the same boat. He too faced negativity. People never though he'd amount to anything in this company. But he proved them wrong by destroying everyone who got in his way and became the World Heavyweight Champion. The thing about Daniel Bryan is he never had a chance at becoming champion. Just because he has the Money In The Bank briefcase doesn't meany anything. The briefcase only guarantees you a title shot. It doesn't guarantee you the title. He doesn't feel any remorse for Daniel Bryan or the Big Show. JR then asked Henry how he feels about Kane's return. Henry said that what he doesn't understand is why Kane feels the need to put back on his mask. Does he think it makes him more of a bad ass? Does he think it's intimidating. Because it's not. The only thing intimidating around here is his own presence. Back in July, he thought he ended Kane's career. He knows now that he didn't get the job done. JR told Henry that after Kane's return, SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long immediately made a match for the World Heavyweight Championship at TLC. Is Henry prepared to defend the World Heavyweight Title against someone just as dominant and monstrous as him? Henry said that's where JR is wrong. Kane lost all of his "monster" characteristics a long time ago. And no mask is going to change that. He knows that he'll defeat Kane at TLC, retain his World Heavyweight Championship, and put Kane's name up there with Daniel Bryan and the Big Show as his top Hall of Pain inductees.
BREAK Trending: Mark Henry, Kane
A promo was shown for TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs, live Sunday December 18th, only on Pay-Per-View.
The theme of John Cena hit as he received the same mixed reaction he did at the top of the show. Cena marched down to the ring, clearly infuriated with The Rock's lack of updates on his search for a tag team partner for him. Cena grabbed a microphone and said that earlier in the show, The Rock gave him his word that he would find him a tag team partner for TLC. And that he would know who his partner is before the end of the show. "It's 10:59 and I have no damn clue who my partner is. So Dwayne, give me something. Send an e-mail to Michael Cole. Appear via satellite again. Just give me something to let me know who my partner will be." Soon, the theme of The Miz hit as one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions made his way down to the ring, a smile lighting up his face. Miz grabbed a microphone to "break the news" to Cena. He asked Cena if he is an idiot? Doesn't he understand that The Rock tricked him? He was never going to find him a partner for TLC. He left him high and dry. Why would Cena trust the man that he despises? The man that is going to beat him at WrestleMania? Cena didn't let Miz finish talking as he delivered a quick shot to him. Cena went after Miz until he was ambushed from behind by R-Truth. The WWE Tag Team Champions stomped away on Cena in a corner. Soon, a familiar theme hit as the audience erupted. Mick Foley ran down to the ring, throwing rights and lefts at Miz and Truth. Foley clotheslined Miz over the top rope, "Foley" chants taking over the arena. He pulled out Mr. Socko, looking to introduce him to R-Truth. Miz was able to grab Truth's legs and pull him out of the ring before that could happen. Cena stirred to his feet as he and Foley came face-to-face. Cena, relieved that Rock didn't trick him, shook Foley's hand as the two stood tall in the ring. Miz and Truth backed up the entrance ramp, realizing what they're in for. Mrs. Foley's baby boy is back, and he's teaming with John Cena against Awesome Truth for the Tag Team Titles at TLC!

Can't wait for TLC. Mark Henry vs. Kane will be epic, Kane is so much more interesting than Big Show but I do hope we see Daniel Bryan pick up that title soon and start the YES phenomenon. Glad Wade Barrett is King of the Ring, push him to the moon he is the complete package and deserves to be a World Champion. Christian is definitely gold in that triple threat match, and Awesome Truth vs. Cena and Foley will be interesting I do hope it doesn't go on last though, CM Punk deserves that much.

I'm sorry, completely missed SmackDown.
I am really looking forward to the Main Event, it could go either way. An obvious victory for Awesome Truth here. I wonder who the mystery guy is. And I wonder who that mystery guy is, too. Drew McIntyre versus The Great Khali wouldn't have been that great, but it gets McIntyre over with a ruthless aggression gimmick. I hope to see him go far. Interesting segment for Wade Barrett; will we see a Fatal 4-Way #1 Contendership Match at WWE: TLC? Ah, Dean Ambrose, nice choice. A good win for Sin Cara, and an interesting alliance for Hunico, Primo and Epico. I wonder how this will go though, because Cara can't beat them all on his own, can he? Divas - need I say more? Shocking Main Event. It seems the Big Show is truly gone, but I bet this isn't the last we see of him, tbh. He isn't ready to retire just yet, in my opinion. Wow, Kane returns? Is he a face? And for the World Heavyweight Championship? Insane, but brilliant.
Onto Raw, I'm glad Cena's partner is not The Rock. Would have been total overkill if it was. A good win for Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger, but it just seems Air Boom are falling off the face of the earth at the moment. That's an interesting situation you have there for Air Boom, facing each other. I really wonder what will happen. I'm expecting one of them to sell out and turn heel. A big win for Natalya, now this is some interesting stuff for the Divas. Some actual competition. Pleased to see CM Punk with the victory here, and a great segment afterwards, but I really hope CM Punk is victorious at the Pay-Per-View. A great win for Wade Barrett over Zack Ryder, and a Ladder Match should be good for these two, I don't know who will walk out as Champion though. A nice segment for Mark Henry, but I can't see Kane losing after a big return, wouldn't seem right. Ah, Mick Foley for John Cena's partner. A very nice choice, but I hope this steps down from Main Event, because Cena/Awesome Truth twice in a row could totally kill it.

Friday Night SmackDown! | December 9th, 2011 | Jacksonville, FL
WWE Superstars 12/8 Taping Results Jinder Mahal def. Yoshi Tatsu Ezekiel Jackson def. Tyson Kidd
After the WWE signature intro, cameras cut to the office of SmackDown GM Teddy Long. Wade Barrett was shown on the screen, loud boos ensuing. Sheamus was then shown to a much more positive response. The camera panned to the side to show Cody Rhodes, more boos from the audience. And finally, Randy Orton was shown as the audience erupted. Teddy Long told the four of them that he thought long about who should really be the No.1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. And quite frankly, they all have solid cases as to why they should. But, one World Championship means one No.1 Contender. So at TLC, we will find out who is the next in line because the four of them will compete in an Elimination Tables Match. The winner will be the undisputed No.1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. But tonight, we'll be seeing some action between them. Cody Rhodes will be defending the Intercontinental Championship against Sheamus. Also, the reigning King of the Ring Wade Barrett will go one on one with the Viper, Randy Orton. And that match is next.
Pyro shot from the stage as the commentary unit of Michael Cole, Josh Mathews, and Booker T welcomed everyone to Friday Night SmackDown. We are coming off of the heels of an explosive live Tuesday edition last week, where we witnessed the resurrection of Kane. Tonight, we will hear from the now-masked Big Red Monster about his return and his World Heavyweight Championship match against Mark Henry in 9 nights at TLC. And as we just learned from Teddy Long, a Fatal Four Way Tables match will be taking place at TLC with Randy Orton, Sheamus, Cody Rhodes, and Wade Barrett all battling it out for the right to be named the No.1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Title. Rhodes and Sheamus will meet later on tonight for the Intercontinental Championship, but we kick off tonight's show with a main event caliber bout.
Randy Orton def. Wade Barrett via Disqualification Since Survivor Series, Orton has failed to get the better of Barrett, losing to him on two separate occasions. This was the Viper's chance at revenge, though it was stolen from him. As Orton was preparing for the RKO, Barrett was able to see on the titantron what he was about to walk into. As an escape plan, Wade stomped on the referee's foot, intentionally getting himself disqualified.
The audience showered Wade with boos as he slid out of the ring, smiling at Orton. The Viper was livid as he failed to extract retribution on Barrett once again. The reigning King of the Ring was able to escape tonight, but there will be no escaping in 9 nights when the four top contenders meet in an Elimination Tables match.
A graphic was shown for Kane's return tonight. After shocking the world last week, what will the Big Red Monster have to say about his mask and Mark Henry?
BREAK
Returning from the commercial break, Trent Barreta was shown in the ring as he prepares for action against SmackDown's newest acquisition. The man who possess characteristics that the WWE Universe has perhaps never seen before, Dean Ambrose.
Dean Ambrose def. Trent Barreta Nobody, not even Barreta, was prepared for what Dean Ambrose brought to the table. After the bell sounded, Ambrose simply stood in the corner, hands on the ropes. When Barreta approached him, he placed him against the turnbuckles and began delivering vicious elbows. Barreta was able to get a piece of offense in their, but Ambrose ran the ropes alongside him and caught him with a huge lariat to the back of his head. Ambrose finally finished off Barreta with a Celtic Cross-live maneuver to pick up the victory.
Ambrose stared deeply into the camera before rolling out of the ring, raising his arm in victory. He grabbed a microphone, telling the audience that the WWE isn't ready for him. He's not like anybody else here. While people like Daniel Bryan claim to be wrestling technicians, he actually is. While people like Cody Rhodes claim to be the future of wrestling, he actually is. And while people like Randy Orton claim to be demented and twisted, guess what? He actually is. Tonight, the Ambrose Revolution takes off. And if you're smart, you'll make way for the man who will claim the world as his, Dean Ambrose. Ambrose dropped the microphone and left to a solid amount of heat, commentators baffled by his behavior.
Backstage, Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhode was shown in his locker room when Josh Mathews walked in, asking for Cody's thoughts on Dean Ambrose's words. "Why should I care about what some filthy-looking nobody has to say?" asked Rhodes. He said that he knows he's the future of the business, and he has the Intercontinental Championship to prove that. And if that's not enough proof, he'll defeat 3 of SmackDown's top stars at TLC to become the No.1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship.
A graphic was shown for the return of Kane. The Big Red Monster speaks out for the first time since July next.
BREAK
Returning from the break, a video package was shown highlighting the events at the end of last week's Live Tuesday SmackDown. In the main event, Mark Henry managed to not only retain his World Heavyweight Championship, but end the Big Show's career. Henry attempted to send Show out of the WWE with a crushed ankle, but a pyro blast is what ended up saving him. Coming through the pyro was a returning Kane, who delivered a huge Chokeslam to Mark Henry.
Pyro blasted from the stage as the audience erupted. Kane was shown standing on the stage through all of the smoke as he made his way down to the ring. He removed his metallic helmet to show the world his mask. Kane said that last week, the world witnessed the resurrection of a monster. Before last Tuesday, he hadn't stepped into a ring since July. And it was then that every monstrous characteristic he possessed had been stripped from him. He showed human like emotions when he shook Randy Orton's hand. Following that embarrassment, Mark Henry attacked him from behind and put him out for 5 months. It was during that time away that he realized just how pathetic he had allowed himself to become. Over the past number of years, he became the very thing that he despised - a human being. He is not a human being. He is a monster! That's what the mask symbolizes. It is his true form. And in his true form, it was never questioned whether or not he was a monster. The Kane of the past may have allowed Mark Henry to get away with his action. But the monster Kane will torture Henry and make him suffer to an extent greater than what any normal human should have to endure. Because that's all that Mark Henry is. He's simply a human being. A human being that will be decimated by a monster in 9 nights at TLC.
The theme of Mark Henry hit as the World Heavyweight Champion made his way out to the stage, Kane dropping his microphone. "A human being? That's all I am?" screamed Henry. He asked Kane if a normal human being would've been able to defeat Randy Orton not once, but twice to stand here as World heavyweight Champion. Would normal human being have been able to toss Daniel Bryan around like a bag of pudding in that ring? And would a normal human being have been able to manhandle and bring the Big Show's career to an end. ? Simply put, no. And that's because he's not a normal human being. Whether Kane likes it or not, he's the real monster in all of this. Recently, what has Kane done to prove he's a monster? Put on a mask? The mask doesn't intimidate him one bit. The only thing it shows him is that Kane wants to make himself and everyone else believe that he's back to the psychotic, menacing Kane. But at TLC, he's going to show the entire world that he is nothing more than pathetic human being. Kane simply stared at Henry with an infuriated look on his face. Henry told Kane that he didn't want to wait 9 days to expose him. The World Champion tried to walk down to the ring, but a wall of fire blasted from the stage as the lights shut. When they were back on, Kane was nowhere to be seen as Henry was on the ground, startled by the wall of fire.
BREAK
Returning from the commercial break, a replay of what just transpired between Kane and Mark Henry was shown, followed by an announcement made by General Manager Teddy Long during the break. The World Heavyweight Championship match between Henry and Kane at TLC will now be a Chairs Match.
Ted DiBiase def. Drew McIntyre A solid bout here. Recently, McIntyre has been dodging the Great Khali, so he was relieved to not be competing against the Punjabi Playboy. As McIntyre was attempting the Future Shock DDT, DiBiase managed to counter it into a roll up to get the victory.
DiBiase rolled out of the ring and raised his arms in victory as McIntyre thew a temper tantrum in the ring. DiBiase left to the back as McIntyre grabbed a microphone, calling for Ted to come back to the ring. Instead of DiBiase, the Great Khali made his way out to the stage, much to the dismay of McIntyre. Khali marched down to the ring as McIntyre grabbed a chair. He never even got to swing it as Khali punched the chair into his face. Khalli stood over McIntyre, raising his arms while screaming as the audience cheered him on.
Backstage, Sheamus was shown preparing as he meets Cody Rhodes for the Intercontinental Championship later on tonight.
BREAK
The RAW Rebound was shown, focusing on two occurrences from this past Monday. First, the huge pipebomb that WWE Champion CM Punk dropped on Christian, telling him to his face that he is not, nor will he ever be, better than Edge. Alberto Del Rio would attack Punk from behind, weakening him and allowing Christian to hit a Spear. The video package then focused on the events between John Cena and The Rock, in which The Rock turned down Cena's offer to be his tag team partner at TLC. However, Rock promised Cena that he would return the favor to him for the Survivor Series invitation by finding him a partner. At the end of the show, Mick Foley was revealed as the chosen partner for Cena.
Epico and Primo def. The Usos Epico and Primo were flanked by Hunico, a new alliance being formed between the three of them. As Jey Uso was preparing for a Superkick, Hunico stepped onto the ring apron to distract the referee. Jey took care of that distraction by hitting Hunico with the Superkick. This allowed Primo to catch him with a Backstabber to pick up the victory.
Hunico joined Epico and Primo in celebration, holding his jaw that Jey nearly kicked off. The three of them assaulted The Usos until Sin Cara made the save, clearing the ring of them. Hunico, Epico and Primo all backed up the entrance ramp as Sin Cara and The Usos stood tall in the ring, calling for the three of them to get back in the ring.
Backstage, Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes was shown making his way down a corridor. He defends his title against Sheamus in our main event, next.
BREAK
A promo was shown for TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs. Live Sunday December 18th, only on Pay-Per-View.
Sheamus def. Cody Rhodes (NEW Intercontinental Champion) A great way to close out tonight's show. With the Tables Match coming up in 9 days at TLC, the Intercontinental Championship could provide the biggest momentum heading into Baltimore. As Sheamus was preparing the High Cross, Wade Barrett slowly made his way down to ringside. Wade, who Sheamus has had his issues with, kept the Great White distracted for a bit. Suddenly, Randy Orton hit the scene and went after Barrett, getting his revenge for earlier tonight. The two brawled up the entrance ramp as Cody tried to plant Sheamus with Cross Rhodes. It was countered as Sheamus hit a huge Brogue Kick, covering Cody to get the victory and the title.
The audience erupted as Sheamus beat his chest in victory. He was handed the Intercontinental Title as he raised it high in the air. Randy Orton and Wade Barrett continued to brawl in the backstage area as Sheamus stood tall in the ring, the new Intercontinental Champion.
Cutting backstage, Orton and Barrett were shown brawling as Wade tossed a trash can at him to buy himself some time. Orton was back on the attack, tossing him over a crate. As Barrett layed chest flat on the ground, Orton's eyes widened as he saw an opportunity to put a dent in Wade's skull. The camera focused on Barrett as Orton prepared to deliver the Punt Kick. However, an off screen noise could be heard as the camera focused back on Orton, who was motionless on the ground. The masked man from Survivor Series stood over Orton with a lead pipe in his hand. Whoever this masked man is, he has made it very clear that he has an issue with Randy Orton. But what could it be?

12/10/11 - Slammy Awards, Television Updates, Mick Foley's Return, John Cena in 2012, Another Return?
- This coming Monday, WWE will present the annual Slammy Awards show. This year, however, the show will only be 2-hours as opposed to the usual 3-hours. 5 awards will be presented on the show. Match of the Year, Tag Team of the Year, Shocker of the Year, Diva of the Year, and Superstar of the Year.
- The final editions of RAW and SmackDown of 2011 (12/26 and 12/30) will be "Best Of" episodes, highlighting the best moments of 2011. The first edition of SmackDown in 2012 (1/3) will be another Live Tuesday SmackDown. Many officials have noted the success of the last Live edition of SmackDown and are looking to see if the trend continues. On top of that, NBC's Twitter page revealed that Saturday Night's Main Event will be making a return on January 21st.
- This past Monday on RAW, Mick Foley made his return to the WWE as the mystery partner for John Cena at TLC. Foley, who recently parted ways with TNA, re-signed with the WWE during a visit to Survivor Series. While we're unsure of the length of the contract, we do understand that a match at WrestleMania XXVIII is currently being discussed between Foley and WWE management.
- After TLC, it is not expected that we'll be seeing John Cena in action that much. He's currently expected to take some time off at the beginning of 2012 as WWE doesn't want to jeopardize the main event of WrestleMania. Cena may have a match or two during the Road to WrestleMania, but nothing past that extent.
- Several close sources have reported that a pretty big return is set for either TLC or RAW the night after. It is unknown who the returning superstar is at the moment.

RAW SuperShow | December 12th, 2011 | Norfolk, VA
WWE Superstars 12/15 Taping Results Alex Riley and Mason Ryan def. JTG and Michael McGillicutty Kelly Kelly def. Nikki Bella
After the RAW SuperShow intro, the stage was shown propped and ready for the 2011 Slammy Awards. Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler welcomed everyone to the show where the WWE honors the moments from 2011 that will live on in history. It's the Slammy Awards! With just six days until TLC, a huge main event is in store as Christian and Alberto Del Rio team up to battle the WWE Champion CM Punk, and in his first match since returning, Kane! But up next, the first award will be presented. The Shocker of the Year.
The theme of Booker T hit as the SmackDown commentator made his way out to the stage along with Kelly Kelly. The duo are here to present the award for Shocker of the Year. "I've been back in the WWE for nearly a year, and I can't tell you how many times I've seen something that just made me say 'Oh my goodness!' Tonight, we will find out which moment made the WWE Universe utter those same words." And the nominees are.....Kevin Nash's return, The Rock accepting John Cena's Survivor Series offer, Edge's retirement, and The Miz and R-Truth causing chaos at Hell in a Cell. And the Slammy goes to........Edge's retirement! The audience popped as the theme of Edge hit. However, we didn't Edge. Instead, Christian made his way out to the stage to a chorus of boos. He announced that he would be accepting this award on behalf of Edge. He then made his way down to the ring with the award in his hand before grabbing a mic. Christian said that it's pretty ironic how last week, CM Punk had a few words for him based off of Edge. Punk had the audacity to tell him to his face that he never deserved those two World Heavyweight Championships. And that the only place he belongs is in the "mid-card." Edge's retirement was sudden, so the WWE needed somebody to step up and take his place. And that somebody was him. Even without Edge's retirement, he still would've been a two time World Heavyweight Champion with the opportunity of becoming WWE Champion this Sunday at TLC. And Punk feels that he'll never be better than Edge? "Understand this, Punk. I don't think I'm better than Edge. I know I am. And I'll prove that when I beat you and Del Rio at TLC to win my first ever WWE Championship." Soon, Alberto Del Rio made his way down to the ring shouting . "All week, I've been hearing about 'CM Punk this' and 'Christian that.'" He's not going to sit back and allow this to become all about Punk and Christian. The WWE Universe are treating him like an afterthought, when he will be the one to take the WWE Championship this Sunday. Christian told Del Rio that this isn't going to become all about him and Punk because he's going to make sure that Punk gets his facts straight. Edge's retirement had nothing to do with his success. And if he recalls correctly, didn't he beat Alberto to win his World Championship? A loud "ooh" came upon the audience. So why should he believe that Del Rio can beat him this Sunday? Maybe the reason he's an afterthought is because he just sucks that much. As Christian was leaving the ring, Del Rio let out somewhat of a pipebomb himself. "You know, Christian. I witnessed better than anyone else the transition from you to Edge. It was supposed Edge that I faced at Extreme Rules, not you. And why did you win that? Oh that's right, because of Edge. Face it Christian, Punk is right. You're here because Edge retired." Christian looked back at Del Rio with the same look he gave Punk last night. Christian, however, simply looked at the Slammy award in his hand and made his way to the back.
BREAK Trending: #Slammy, Edge, Christian
Returning from the commercial break, a small replay of the segment with Christian and Del Rio was shown as Michael Cole commented that he believes Punk and Del Rio are simply lighting a fire inside Christian. A fire will engulf them this Sunday when Christian proves all of his naysayers wrong by winning the WWE Championship. Lawler swayed from the Christian topic to announce that beginning this Sunday, the WWE will be presenting Pay-Per-View pre-shows exclusively on YouTube. Later on tonight, we will find out what match the WWE Universe will be treated to on the pre-show.
The theme of Dolph Ziggler hit as the Show-Off made his way out to the ring with Jack Swagger and Vickie Guerrero. Ziggler will have an opportunity to regain the United States Championship this Sunday when he meets Zack Ryder in a Ladder Match. Speaking of Ryder, the United States Champion was out next to a huge ovation from the WWE Universe. Before entering the ring, Ryder revealed who his partner tonight is.....
United States Champion Zack Ryder and John Morrison def. Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger Ryder's partner was revealed to be John Morrison, who was taken out back at Survivor Series courtesy of Jack Swagger. Morrison started things off with Swagger, unloading on him. Very limited action between Ziggler and Ryder, which was expected as the two prepare for their Ladder Match in just six days. Morrison hit Swagger with Starship Pain to get the victory as Ryder kept Ziggler out of the ring.
Ryder and Morrison raised each other's arms as Ziggler backed up the entrance ramp. Ryder, with the United States Title in one hand, fist pumped with the other, letting Ziggler know that he plans to fist pump his face this Sunday at TLC.
Cameras cut backstage as we see John Cena on the phone, presumably with Mick Foley. "That's fine. I just need you here on Sunday ready to kick some Awesome Truth ass. Alright, I'll see you then. Tell your little girl I said Happy Birthday. Bye." Before he and Foley meet Awesome Truth for the gold this Sunday, he's in action against The Miz later on tonight.
BREAK Trending: Zack Ryder, John Morrison
Returning from the break, Zack Ryder and John Morrison were walking backstage as Ryder couldn't get over how "sick" they were as a team. Morrison stopped Ryder, reminding him that he never got his United States Championship match at Survivor Series. So after Ryder fist pumps Dolph Ziggler's face at TLC, he wants the first title show. "No problem, bro," said Ryder as he and Morrison pounded fists to make it official.
The Slammy music played in the arena as we are ready to present the award for Diva of the Year. Jerry Lawler was shown on the stage with the envelope in his hand, mentioning that there are no nominees as every WWE Diva is eligible. And the Slammy goes to.....the Diva's Champion, Beth Phoenix! Beth made her way out the stage, accepting the award. She said that there really aren't that many people she would like to thank. She owes no credit to anyone for her success. Especially not Natalya. She thought she had a friend in her. Yet last week, Natalya was selfish and decided to put their friendship in jeopardy for a Diva's Championship match at TLC. She's already proven that she's better than Natalya with both the Diva's Championship and this Slammy, so why not beat her? Beth made her down to ringside to watch as her opponent for TLC is in action right now.
Natalya def. Eve Natalya was fueled by Beth's words as she was on fire tonight, not giving Eve much of a chance. While starting at Beth, she locked Eve in the Sharpshooter, forcing her to submit.
Natalya continued to stare at Beth while motioning for the Diva's Champion. The Diva of the Year was not intimidated at all as he made her way up the ramp while raising her championship, letting Natalya know what it's all about come Sunday at TLC.
A graphic appeared with the six nominees for Superstar of the Year. You can head over to WWE.COM to vote for who you feel was the best of the best in WWE this year. Was it John Cena, CM Punk, Randy Orton, Mark Henry, The Miz, or Alberto Del Rio? We'll find out later tonight.
BREAK Trending: Beth Phoenix, Natalya
Backstage, Christian was shown in his locker room, staring at the Slammy that he accepted earlier on behalf of Edge. Has CM Punk gotten into Christian's head? Is "the truth" hitting him?
Cutting to the arena, a familiar theme hit as the "Road Dogg" Jesse James made his way out to the stage, receiving a fair pop from the audience. Road Dogg said that he is here tonight to present the award for Tag Team of the Year. He knows all about tag teams, having been in one of the greatest of all time, the New Age Outlaws. So tonight, we will find out who can solidify themselves as one of the greatest teams in history. And the nominees are.....Air Boom, Awesome Truth, Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater, and David Otunga and and Michael McGillicutty. And the Slammy goes to......Air Boom! The audience erupted as Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne made their way out to the stage to accept the award. They thanked the WWE Universe for this award, because it wouldn't be possible without them. They hope that they can live up to Road Dogg's words and become one of the greatest teams in WWE history.
"Hold it, hold it." Those were the words of the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and the Interim General Manager of RAW, John Laurinaitis. The audience showered him with boos as he stepped onto the stage. He told Kofi and Evan that he doesn't believe they deserve this award. Sure, they're talented. But they also defied their boss' orders, something he doesn't feel makes one deserving of a Slammy. Therefore, he will be nullifying their victory in this category. Kofi and Bourne were at a loss for words as Laurinaitis confiscated their Slammy. "Besides, I don't believe you two will be teaming that much longer. I mean, one you has to beat the other this Sunday at TLC. Because if not, you both will be immediately terminated." Kofi and Evan quietly left the stage, holding their anger in. Laurinaitis then said that he will be presenting the award to the team that truly deserves it. "And the Slammy goes to.....Miz and R-Truth!" The WWE Tag Team Champions came out to the stage to accept the award. No speech was given as they performed "You Suck" while make their ways down to the ring. Miz is in action against John Cena next.
BREAK Trending: Road Dogg, Air Boom, #YouScrewedAirBoom
Returning from the break, Miz and R-Truth were shown in the ring with their Slammys and the WWE Tag Team Championships. The theme of John Cena hit as a mixed reaction emerged from the audience. A graphic appeared for the Tag Team Title match Sunday at TLC, where John Cena will team up with the hardcore legend, Mick Foley. But tonight, Cena and Miz go at it one on one.
John Cena def. The Miz via DQ The Slammy must've given Miz a confidence boost as he controlled Cena for a good portion of the match. Once Cena countered the Skull Crushing Finale followed by a few running shoulder blocks, he took control. As Cena was about to hit the Attitude Adjustment, R-Truth jumped into the ring and hit Cena in his kidney-area with his Slammy award, causing the DQ finish.
Truth stomped away on Cena as Miz joined in. The Tag Team Champions assaulted Cena, finishing him off with their Shut Up!/Skull Crushing Finale combo. They raised the WWE Tag Team Championships and their Slammys while making their ways up the entrance ramp, sending a huge message to John Cena and Mick Foley for Sunday at TLC.
Backstage, WWE Champion CM Punk was shown in his locker room. He prepares to team up with the resurrected Kane to battle Christian and Alberto Del Rio later on tonight. Punk is also a nominee for Superstar of the Year, which you can vote on right now at WWE.COM.
BREAK Trending: The Miz, John Cena, Mick Foley
Returning from the commercial break, Michael Cole informed the viewers at home that he just received word during the break that during the TLC pre-show on YouTube this Sunday, we will be treated to a one on one match between John Morrison and Jack Swagger. Morrison, who made his return earlier tonight, will have a chance at further revenge when he meets the man who took him out back at Survivor Series. It's exclusively on YouTube half an hour between TLC goes live.
At this time, Justin Roberts introduced Dusty Rhodes to present the Slammy for Match of the Year. Dusty said that he's been very busy with Christmas coming up. He's got a big family and is trying to get them all to come over to his house, and he's trying to convince Cody to stay away because now that he don't have his Intercontinental Title, he'll raise hell on Christmas. But tonight's not about Christmas. It's about the Slammy Awards. And this next award is for Match of the Year. Every year in the WWE, we witness countless great matches. Some of the best in history. And we will honor the one match that the WWE Universe felt was better than the best. And the nominees are.....John Cena vs. CM Punk from Money In The Bank, The Undertaker vs. Triple H from WrestleMania, Team Cena vs. Team Awesome Truth from Survivor Series, and Randy Orton vs. Christian from SummerSlam. And winner is......The Undertaker vs. Triple H from WrestleMania XXVII! The audience erupted as the theme of Triple H hit. The Game made his way out to the stage to accept the award. He spoke briefly about his match with The Undertaker as it still leaves a bad taste in his mind. He stated that while the WWE Universe feels that this the Match of the Year, he knows it could've been better. And by that, he knows he could've beaten The Undertaker. And he still knows that he can beat The Undertaker. But that's in the past, and there's nothing that he can do about it. But someone that he can beat is Kevin Nash. In 3 weeks, when we enter 2012, he's finally going to get his shot at Nash in a No Holds Barred Match. He's been training for this match, and will continue to train until the night of January 2nd. He doesn't know what Nash is doing right now, but he knows what he should be doing and that'a praying. Praying that he'll be able to walk again after January 2nd. Praying that he doesn't have to spend a month in the hospital. And praying that John Laurinaitis isn't forced to "Future endeavor" him due to injuries. He thanks the WWE Universe for this award, but he's not accepting it. If the WWE wants to present it to someone, they can mail it to The Undertaker. Triple H left the stage to a mixed reaction for his comments on Kevin Nash and The Undertaker.
A graphic was shown for the nominees for Superstar of the Year. There's a still a bit of time left so get your vote in. Will it be John Cena, CM Punk, Randy Orton, Mark Henry, The Miz, or Alberto Del Rio?
BREAK Trending: Triple H, The Undertaker, Kevin Nash
A promo was shown for this Friday's edition of SmackDown. After the mysterious masked man's attack last week, will Randy Orton have anything to say? Or will The Viper keep his attention on Cody Rhodes, Wade Barrett, and the new Intercontinental Champion Sheamus with the No.1 Contenders match coming up at TLC?
Cutting to the arena, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler were shown in the ring to run down the card for TLC:Tables, Ladders and Chairs this Sunday. Dolph Ziggler will have his chance at regaining the United States Title when he meets Zack Ryder in a Ladder Match. Two former teammates collide for the Diva's Championship as Beth Phoenix defends against Natalya. Two men who are still teammates battle for their jobs as Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne go at it. The WWE Tag Team Championships are on the line as a possible dream team becomes a reality. John Cena and Mick Foley team up to take on The Miz and R-Truth with the gold on the line. Four of SmackDown's top stars battle it out in an Elimination Tables Match for a future World Heavyweight Championship match. Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, Wade Barrett, and the new Intercontinental Champion Sheamus will battle until there is one man left standing. Having just returned two weeks ago, Kane will be looking for revenge on Mark Henry as the two meets in a Chairs Match for the World Heavyweight Championship. And finally, it is a Triple Threat Match to be held under the stipulation of Tables, Ladders and Chairs. WWE Champion CM Punk defends against Christian and Alberto Del Rio. TLC is live from Baltimore this Sunday only on Pay-Per-View.
A graphic appeared with the six nominees for Superstar of the Year. When we return from the break, the award will be presented.
BREAK Trending: TLC
Returning from the break, Justin Roberts introduced the presenter for the Superstar of the Year award....Rey Mysterio! The WWE Universe were on their feet as we haven't seen Rey since August. Mysterio thanked the audience for their applause, saying that it feels good to be back, even if just for one night. But he does plan to be back in that ring very soon. Tonight, he will presenting the most prestigious award of them all - Superstar of the Year. This award means that you were the best among your peers and enemies. It means that the WWE Universes acknowledges your hard work for the year, and have decided to honor with this award. And the Slammy for Superstar of the Year goes to......CM Punk! The WWE Champion made his way out to the stage, accepting the award. He didn't give a speech as he headed to the ring, ready for our main event.
WWE Champion CM Punk and Kane vs. Christian and Alberto Del Rio ended in a No Contest A very good main event here. The WWE Universe were thrilled to see Kane back in action, something we haven't seen since July. Having just won Superstar of the Year, CM Punk was fired up. Towards the end of the match, Kane was preparing for a Chokeslam on Alberto Del Rio when Mark Henry made his way out to the stage. Kane let go of Del Rio and quickly made his way up the ramp to get a piece of the World Heavyweight Champion. The referee turned his attention to the brawl, which is where the match went awry.
Kane and Henry began trading blows on the stage as a dozen referees hit the scene to separate the two monsters, a near impossible task. In the ring, Christian took a steel chair and nailed Punk in the back with it. He continued his assault with the chair until Del Rio locked the champion in the Cross Armbreaker. Del Rio pulled viciously on Punk's arm while Christian repeatedly struck Punk's leg with the chair, taking out the body part that means the most in a TLC match. Suddenly, Christian hit Del Rio's face in a Conchairto fashion. Both Punk and Del Rio were out on the mat as Christian grabbed the WWE Championship, raising it high in the air while standing tall over his two opponents in six days at TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs.

WWE RAW Supershow: Monday 21st November 2011...Kelly Kelly beating Brie Bella wasn't anything special. Michael McGillicutty potentially climbing back up the ladder again? Could be cool, but it's still sad to see Alex Riley so far down on the card. CM Punk opening the show was the right call, a good promo from him to start off, and although it's great to see a new contender, I can't help but feel that Alberto Del Rio deserves a rematch regardless at Tables, Ladders and Chairs. But nevermind, John Cena against Christian sounds good. Ah right, I misread. A triple threat match at TLC sounds good, although I see Christian vs CM Punk vs Del Rio happening for the WWE Championship. Zack Ryder and Jack Swagger sounded like a solid opening contest, obviously the right man won though. I see Dolph Ziggler eyeing up a rematch. I can't see Ryder winning the King of the Ring tournament though. Oh dear, David Otunga and Mason Ryan sounded like an ugly-ass match. I like Otunga now though, I think that he can work well at this point in his career. In the ring together though, I can't help but think it'll make an ugly clash of styles. CM Punk and Cody Rhodes sounds like a fantastic opening hour main event and easily a potential feud in the future. Disappointed that Cody wasn't entered in the King of the Ring tournament though. Kane returning is cool, just avoid that awful feud with John Cena. I don't mind a few attacks, but that took the p*ss what they did. A tag team match to determine which two guys qualify to the next round? Yeah...no way Primo and Epico were winning. I do love John Laurinaitis switching out Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne of Air Boom in exchange for The Miz and R-Truth though, very nice. I see Air Boom costing them the titles, and potentially opening up a Ladder match for the WWE Tag Team Championships at TLC. Would be very fun to watch. Beth Phoenix beating Eve came as no surprise, hoping that you still turn Eve heel, she's SO much better and natural. And lastly, Christian beating John Cena was expected, a good main event, and I liked Awesome Truth costing Cena the match. Was however disappointed by the lack of The Rock on this show, I feel like he'd have still had a say in the fallout of the Survivor Series. Still quite a decent show.
WWE Friday Night SmackDown: Friday 25th November 2011...Tyson Kidd beating Yoshi Tatsu was fair, a decent match there but nothing new. The Usos beating Tyler Reks and Curt Hawkins sounded pretty cool, put these guys on SmackDown more often. Interesting promo to kick off the show with Mark Henry dragging AJ out to the arena. I liked his promo on Daniel Bryan and the Big Show, with Booker T then making the save. Very different approach to this, I like it. Set up the main event nicely. Sheamus beating Jinder Mahal was really obvious in my mind, I hope Sheamus doesn't win the King of the Ring tournament a second year in a row though. Sin Cara beating Drew McIntyre makes sense, to get him into the next round of the tournament, but it's a shame that Drew McIntyre didn't make the cut. Put him back on a good streak, please. Up next, wasn't so pleased with the idea of a triple threat qualifying match in the King of the Ring tournament. But Wade Barrett beating Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes was good, Barrett could easily win and I'd be happy with that. A masked man? Interesting. I guess Orton and Barrett's feud will be avoided, which could be interesting. Natalya beating Kaitlyn was expected. A battle royal now? Great opportunity to put a new guy in the King of the Ring tournament at least, very nice. Ted Dibiase I'm not that fond of though, would have preferred Ezekiel Jackson or even a guy like Justin Gabriel or Trent Barreta in an underdog role. Lastly, Mark Henry beating Booker T was expected, Henry running from Big Show certainly was interesting. Glad that Show and Henry isn't happening again at TLC at least. Overall, not a bad show, but it lacked a few names. Where was Daniel Bryan tonight? The tournament is coming along nicely though.
WWE RAW Supershow: Monday 28th November 2011...Eve and Alicia Fox beating the Bella Twins was fair, and another loss for Alex Riley is okay I guess, considering he went up against Jack Swagger. Opening promo was pretty interesting, liked Triple H discussing Kevin Nash, although I'm not sure if announcing it for the first RAW of 2012 is a good thing or a bad thing. Makes more slots for TLC open anyway. Very nice pull-apart brawl spot anyway. Sheamus beating R-Truth was fine, a sound opening contest, but again I hope Sheamus doesn't come out victorious. Up next, decent win for Zack Ryder against David Otunga, there's not so much to add to this. Wade Barrett overcoming Sin Cara is great, I think Barrett should win the King of the Ring crown. It's time for Barrett to enter the main event scene in my mind. The Miz beating Ted Dibiase was really predictable, fair opportunity for Dibiase though. Up next, not so sure why you had Air Boom fed to Mark Henry, but it made Mark look more and more dominant I guess. Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne need some momentum, pronto though. Wade Barrett and Sheamus would have been an okay match, but when I saw these guys face off last time, I really disliked it. No chemistry, really. The clean count-out finish was a little odd to me. On another note, it's sad that I only just realized that this was a three-hour RAW. Oops! Zack Ryder beating The Miz was fine, nothing too special here. I don't see Ryder winning the tournament though. Cody Rhodes beating Mason Ryan makes me really happy. Looking forward to finding out who will challenge Cody for the WWE Intercontinental Championship next. Wade Barrett beating Zack Ryder was the right call to make. A good win for Barrett, and will do him a lot of good getting nearer and nearer to WrestleMania XXVIII. Dolph Ziggler's involvement was nice. And now lastly, I know it's something WWE would do, but putting on the triple threat match on RAW a few weeks ahead of schedule, ruins the prestige of that high-profile sounding match. But it was still pretty cool I guess, Christian winning was the right decision, and it should be a good Tables, Ladders and Chairs match at TLC. Very sound show, but I think it could have used some more promos or segments. John Cena's involvement in the show was nice, too, interesting to see who his partner will be. I see it being someone like Kane in a huge twist from reality.
WWE SmackDown Live: Tuesday 29th November 2011...Wow, this is a busy week for WWE television. Tyson Kidd beating Trent Barreta was a great match, good to see that on the show, considering the awesome series of matches they had throughout 2011. Ted Dibiase beating Jinder Mahal was what it was, nothing great. Opening promo from the Big Show was good, and set up the main event nicely, Show considering leaving though? I see Mark Henry winning tonight, in that case. I don't see this being the final stand for Show however. I also like how you've had him befriend Daniel Bryan recently. The Miz and R-Truth beating the Usos was fine, a good tag team match to kick things off. Aksana and the mystery man? I guess it could be Antonio Cesaro. Drew McIntyre assaulting the Great Khali was nice, very cool touch with a good win for McIntyre. The guy could very easily be a main eventer at this point, if given some build and momentum. I like more strange goings on with this guy, too. Seem to be manipulating Theodore Long. Wade Barrett's promo was great, and oh dear, Sheamus' interruption signals the idea of a feud between the two. Cody Rhodes getting involved was nice, the new main event line-up for 2012 here, I see. Randy Orton as well, intriguing situation here, ended in a four man brawl. Was fully expecting a tag team match to be made though. Sin Cara beating Heath Slater was what it was; again, I see a lot of potential in Slater, please consider a push or a character development for Slater. Also, please keep Hunico with Primo and Epico and avoid using Camacho. The idea of the trio when I first saw them on an episode of RAW Supershow intrigued me. Oh, Dean Ambrose! Bit early, but I can easily get behind this. Tamina beating Kaitlyn is nothing special, amusing that I literally just watched this on the most recent episode of WWE NXT Redemption. Tamina may be one of the better Divas the WWE has to offer. And lastly, Mark Henry beating the Big Show was expected, I liked the build to this main event focused around Show saying potential goodbyes, too. Show not being able to lift Mark? I dislike that. Great post-match occurrence with Kane however, I like the sound of Kane facing Mark Henry, but keep the feud short again! Overall, a decent show, but once again it lacked a few things in my eyes. Where has Daniel Bryan been lately? I'm repeating myself now, but still, so odd. Be interesting to see how it goes from here. You definitely still have my eye on you, you're my favourite writer currently. Just work on a few things, situations are getting a little messy going into TLC. But your work is definitely coming along nicely.

Friday Night SmackDown! | December 16th, 2011 | Raleigh, NC
After the WWE signature intro, a video package aired highlighting the events at the conclusion of last week's SmackDown. A brawl broke out at ringside between Randy Orton and Wade Barrett, which ultimately led to Sheamus defeating Cody Rhodes to become the new Intercontinental Champion. Orton and Wade's brawl spilled to the backstage area, where Orton was ambushed by his mysterious attacker, whom we hadn't seen since Survivor Series. Whoever the masked man is, it's clear what his intentions are - make Randy Orton's life a living hell.
Cutting to the arena here in Raleigh, "Voices" hit as the WWE Universe were on their feet for the Viper. He marched down to the ring, not wasting any time tonight as he is looking for some answers. Orton grabbed a microphone, stating that over the past 10 years in the WWE, he's pissed off more people than he can count. There are dozens and dozens of people who have reasons to be "out for him." So he has no clue who his mysterious attacker is. But he guarantees something. Orton stared at the camera as he made an emphatic statement. "It doesn't matter who you are. When I find out your identity, I'm going to turn the tables and make your life a living hell." As Orton continued to stare into the camera, the theme of Heath Slater hit. The audience, commentators, and Orton were all baffled as the One Man Southern Rock Band made his way down to the ring. When Slater tried to speak, Orton told him that he better have a damn good reason for interrupting him. Slater told Orton that he has something better than a reason. He's got a scoop that nobody else in the WWE has. Orton seemed willing to listen to Slater. "Last week, I was walking to my car and I saw your masked attacker putting on his mask." Orton asked Slater if he's saying what he thinks he's saying? "Yup, Orton. I saw his face. I know who your attacker is!" A buzz came upon the audience as we may find out right now the identity of the mysterious man. Obviously, Orton asked Slater who he is. "Well, I'm not one to go telling on people." Orton's cold eyes stared a hole through Slater as he demanded to know who his attacker is. "But I'm not sure if I should say anything. I mean if this guy's wearing a mask he obviously doesn't want anyone to kn-" RKO! The audience went wild as Orton stood over Slater, the one man who knows who the attacker is. Orton made his way up the ramp, needing to focus on both the Tag Team Match later on tonight and the Tables Match in two nights at TLC. However, Orton continues the search for his mystery attacker as someone in the locker room, Heath Slater, knows the identity of the mystery man.
BREAK
Returning from the break, Heath Slater was shown holding his neck backstage after receiving an RKO just moments ago. He was approached by SmackDown GM Teddy Long, who asked for the masked man's identity. "Heath, I need to know for security purposes. Who is Orton's attacker?" "Why is everyone asking me all these questions?" shouted Slater as he continued on.
Sin Cara and The Usos def. Hunico, Epico and Primo A ton of back-and-forth aerial action in this outstanding opening bout. With Sin Cara's recent issues with the opposing trio, he was looking to finish it with a victory. After Jimmy and Jey dived onto Hunico and Primo, Sin Cara finished off Epico in the ring with La Mistica to get the victory.
Sin Cara and The Usos celebrated their victory in the ring as many assumed that this match would mark the end of Sin Cara and Hunico's rivalry, but that didn't seem to be the case. Cara pointed to Hunico as he made his way up the entrance ramp, letting him know that it's not over yet between the two of them.
Backstage, Scott Stanford was standing by with the new Intercontinental Champion, Sheamus. Stanford asked the Great White if he feels that Randy Orton will not be focused when they team up later tonight against Cody Rhodes and Wade Barrett? Sheamus said that he knows Orton, and knows that once that bell rings, he'll be in the zone. But this Sunday, he'll be the one in the zone when he plants Orton, Cody, and Barrett through tables to become one step closer to something that will compliment his Intercontinental Title very nicely - the World Heavyweight Championship.
A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. Before their championship matches in two days at TLC, Christian pays a visit to SmackDown to go one-on-one with the resurrected monster, Kane.
BREAK
Returning to SmackDown, Drew McIntyre was shown making his way down to the ring, where the Great Khali was already stationed in. McIntyre and Khali were about to settle their feud that has culminated over the past number of weeks. Before the bell rang, Tony Chimel made an announcement that changed everything for Drew. "Per order of Teddy Long, this contest will now be a No Disqualifications Match!" McIntyre's face turned pale as the bell sounded.
Drew McIntyre def. The Great Khali in a No Disqualifications Match Finally, there was no running for McIntyre. His previous tactics would not work here tonight. Towards the end of the match, Khali decided to give Drew a taste of his own medicine by grabbing a steel chair. Before Khali could swing it, Drew hit him with a low blow, dropping the Punjabi Playboy to one knee. McIntyre planted him with the Future Shock DDT onto the chair to pick up the victory.
Drew rolled out of the ring as he raised his arms in the air, finally brushing off this rivalry with the Great Khali. Now, McIntyre can look ahead towards fulfilling the name "The Chosen One."
Backstage, Cody Rhodes and Wade Barrett were shown walking down a corridor as Rhodes was expressing his anger in regards to losing the Intercontinental Championship last week. Barrett grabbed Rhodes by the collar of his vest and pushed him into a wall. Barrett told him that he doesn't care about him or his grievances. They're partners tonight, so he's going to tolerate him. But at TLC, he's going to drive him right through a table and receive the World Heavyweight Championship match. Barrett let go of his hold on Cody as he continued on. Randy Orton and Sheamus battle Wade Barrett and Cody Rhodes next.
BREAK
Randy Orton and Intercontinental Champion Sheamus def. Wade Barrett and Cody Rhodes With these four meeting in the Tables Match on Sunday, the chemistry of both teams were a bit rocky. In the end, Sheamus hit Barrett with a Brogue Kick on the outside as Orton planted Rhodes with an RKO in the ring to pick up the victory.
The crowd stood to their feet as Orton tried to celebrate his victory, clearly having his attacker on his mind still. When he turned around, Sheamus swung the Intercontinental Championship at him. Orton was able to duck it and caught the Great White with a great RKO! To send a message for Sunday, Orton grabbed a table from underneath the ring. As he was setting it up, he was attacked from behind by Heath Slater. Slater, who received an RKO at the start of the show, attempted to suplex Orton through the table. That didn't work out as Orton was able to counter it and powerbombed Slater through the table! Orton did his signature pose as he stood tall over the carnage, but who will be the one standing tall on Sunday with a World Heavyweight Championship match in their future?
A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. Before he meets Mark Henry for the World Heavyweight Championship, Kane will do battle with the man who competes in a TLC Match for the WWE Championship in two nights, Christian. It happens later tonight on SmackDown.
BREAK
Returning from the break, the RAW Rebound was shown. This past Monday, the WWE presented the annual Slammy Awards. Many awards were presented, but none bigger than Superstar of the Year, which was received by WWE Champion CM Punk. However, Punk's night didn't finish on a high note as he was attacked by Christian with a steel chair. Alberto Del Rio then locked in the Cross Armbreaker as Christian continued to strike Punk's leg. He then struck Del Rio's face with the chair before raising the WWE Championship in the air while standing tall over the two men he will meet this Sunday in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match for the gold, and the two men who have questioned his success in relation to Edge's retirement, a very touchy subject that has lit a fire in Captain Charisma.
Dean Ambrose def. Yoshi Tatsu Last week, Ambrose made a very impressive debut against Trent Barreta. This week, it was Yoshi Tatsu who had to step up against the incredibly eerie superstar. Ambrose was able to quickly put Tatsu away with the Midnight Special to pick up another victory.
Ambrose quickly stood up, sticking his tongue out while getting a bit of saliva on Tatsu, further creeping out the audience. Ambrose rolled out of the ring and pulled the camera towards his face, saying "I'm just freakin' getting started." He then licked the camera lens before making his way up the ramp as Booker could be heard saying "The hell is wrong with him?"
Backstage, Kane was shown in a dark storage closet putting on his metallic helmet. He turned around and opened the door only to meet AJ. She was clearly frightened, but needed to give him a few words. She told Kane that Daniel Bryan was released from the hospital today, but he's not doing much better at all. She needs Kane to do to Henry what he did to Daniel. Make him pay for is actions against Daniel, Big Show, and himself. "Please, Kane. For Daniel, please close the Hall of Pain on Sunday." Kane simply stared at AJ for a bit before moving on, not caring much for any of her words.
BREAK
Returning from the break, a special thanks was given to Nine Lashes for "Adrenaline." It is the official theme song for TLC. Cole, Mathews, and Booker quickly ran down the line-up for the Pay-Per-View event this Sunday. John Laurinaitis has assured that if we do not see a competitive match from Kofi and Evan, Sunday will be the last time we see Air Boom.
Christian was shown backstage walking down a corridor. Before he gets to TLC and the WWE Championship match, he goes one on one with Kane in our main event next.
BREAK
A promo was shown for TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs, live this Sunday only on Pay-Per-View.
Kane def. Christian via Disqualification Both men have championship matches awaiting them on Sunday, so a victory was a must here for momentum. Kane grabbed Christian by his throat as he was preparing for a Chokeslam, but the theme of Mark Henry hit as the Big Red Monster turned his attention to the stage. As Kane was waiting for Henry's arrival, Christian nailed him in the back with a steel chair, causing the disqualification finish.
The bell repeatedly sounded as Christian hit Kane with multiple chair shots, even when the Big Red Monster was down on the mat. As Christian made his way up the ramp, the World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry finally made his entrance. Henry grabbed Kane by his hair and lifted him up, only to drop him back down with the World's Strongest Slam onto the chair. Henry stood tall over Kane as he raised the World Title in the air, getting the last laugh before their Chairs Match in 48 hours at TLC:Tables, Ladders and Chairs.
