- I am wondering why The Beast The Conqueror Brock Lesnar wasn't drafted at all on the televised Draft? Or why Brock wasn't drafted even in the Supplemental Draft?

- First round picks as far as the Draft...WWE Universal Champion Derrick Bateman ending up on RAW as RAW's 1st pick makes sense given that he is WWE Universal Champion but after the year Bateman has had can you really question him as the #1 pick overall? I know I sure as hell can't and now that Bateman is on the "A" show that being RAW I wonder what kind of competition he will have as a member of the RAW roster?

- Smackdown Live with their first pick they draft Paige...that is a surprising pick to say the least I would have thought that Angle and Shane would draft AJ Styles with their #1 pick or even draft Ambrose as their #1 pick. However, Paige of all people goes #1 for Smackdown Live but I will say this that that is quite a coup for the women's division on Smackdown Live...Paige a former WWE Divas Champion and after the year she had main eventing Mania and beating Bray Wyatt inside Hell in A Cell I guess I can see why she was chosen as their #1 pick now even though I probably would have gone with Styles or even Ambrose.

- WWE Women's Champion AJ Lee drafted to RAW...you know what that means? Smackdown Live will end up with their own WWE Women's Championship and it will end up being called the Smackdown Women's Championship especially now that AJ Lee is on RAW and AJ will most likely get a new championship with it being branded the RAW Women's Championship

- Smackdown Live with their 2nd pick they draft WWE Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes The American Nightmare...that is quite a pick Cody Rhodes is a former WWE and World Champion now the IC Champion and now that he is on the blue brand he can truly make Smackdown Live his show. Cody on Smackdown Live working for both Shane and Angle that just guarantees that Cody Rhodes will be a star on Smackdown Live and with him holding that IC Title think of the programs the eventual programs he could have with certain superstars. I wonder if "The Best in the World" CM Punk will end up on Smackdown Live as well? Or if Punk will end up separated from Cody and he gets drafted to RAW? I have a feeling Punk somehow some way will end up on Smackdown Live and he will get his rematch against Cody

- Daniel Bryan as WWE United States Champion gets drafted over to RAW...that is quite a pick for RAW...Smackdown Live has the WWE Intercontinental Championship so of course naturally it only makes sense for them to want to get the WWE United States Championship on to their show but with Bryan on RAW I wonder what kind of programs he will have here on the A show on Team Red?

- John Cena drafted to Smackdown as their 3rd pick...that is quite a coup Cena is the "face of WWE" he has been the franchise player for this company for over a decade now and with him on Smackdown Live he is finally off of RAW thank God. But hey you know what this means? Cena is away from Bateman the WWE Universal Champion but with Cena on Team Blue he can still become WWE Champion especially since that title is vacant right now. However, Cena on Smackdown just guarantees that Smackdown Live will no longer be considered the "B" show but it will bring in ratings with him there.

- First NXT superstar drafted is to RAW and that pick ends up being none other than the NXT Champion Finn Balor...that is quite the coup because I am sure Shane and Angle wanted Balor for their brand but since Balor is on RAW he brings with him The Balor Club but also with him on RAW he can become something truly special on this show. Balor with him on RAW he can have so many dream programs but also he can introduce everyone to his "Demon King" persona especially on RAW.

- First NXT superstar drafted to Smackdown Live ends up being none other than Sami Zayn...Sami Zayn is a 2 time NXT Champion hell he was the face of NXT and now that he is on the main roster he has a chance a true chance to be a future WWE Champion on Smackdown Live. I mean it could happen but then again just think of the dream programs Sami could have especially being on Smackdown Live.

- Opening match of the Draft sees Cena who is officially a Smackdown Live guy beats the former WWE Hardcore Champion Adam Cole...Cena has been on a roll well ever since losing back at Mania in the Triple Threat Match for the WWE Universal Championship but I would say that after this win Cena has more or less not only made a statement to everyone that he is here to stay on Smackdown Live but making a case for himself to be WWE Champion on the blue brand. I mean who can argue it?

- Bobby Roode being a free agent since he won the Unique Opportunity Battle Royal back at Mania states to everyone that he can't be drafted because well he did earn that right and he isn't exclusive to either brand which means he can show up whenever he wants but that with that luxury he can challenge realistically for any title on either brand. Roode wants to be WWE Universal Champion as he challenges Bateman for the title but then he gets told by Stephanie and Dario that Bateman isn't even at RAW I find that to be a convenient excuse because let's face it if Bateman were here and he had accepted Roode's challenge he would lose that title to Roode meaning Bateman is afraid of Roode plain & simple. Roode instead gets a WWE United States Championship match against Daniel Bryan tonight here at the Draft...could you imagine if Roode were to win the WWE United States Championship, especially after Bryan just won it at Mania like 4 nights ago?

- RAW with their first pick in the 2nd round go with all 5 members of The Wyatt Tribe...I would have thought that all members or at least most of them would have been separated because of this Draft but since they became WWE Tag Team Champions well Wyatt and Pentagon they would have to stay together but all 5 of them as a unit as a stable get drafted together I mean now that they are all here on RAW who on RAW can realistically stop them?

- Smackdown Live with their 2nd pick in the 2nd round go with The Best in the World CM Punk...that is probably the best pick Smackdown Live could have made this round and Punk with him on Smackdown Live he not only gets his rematch against the WWE Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes but Punk has the potential to become WWE Champion again especially since that title is vacant right now. Punk is probably happy that he is on Smackdown Live as opposed to being on RAW because if he were on RAW he wouldn't have gotten his rematch against Rhodes.

- RAW with their 2nd pick in the 2nd round go with AJ Styles...I wonder if AJ Styles will make RAW his show? If he will make RAW the House that AJ Styles Built? With Styles on RAW I guess it makes sense given what Bateman the WWE Universal Champion did to AJ when he attacked him on RAW just 3 days ago but with AJ no longer WWE Champion he can target Bateman's WWE Universal Championship instead. I wonder if we are headed towards a Styles/Bateman program? I wonder what other programs AJ Styles will have especially here on Team Red?

- Plus with AJ Styles and Finn Balor on the same show you could have a Bullet Club feud tease especially because they are both former members of The Bullet Club but also you have other Bullet Club members in WWE right now with Omega, Adam Cole and it is only a matter of time before Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows show up in WWE

- Smackdown Live with their 2nd pick in the 2nd round of this Draft go with Dean Ambrose...you know what that means? Ambrose is officially away from Seth Rollins and Triple H especially now that he is on Team Blue he doesn't have to deal with either one of them nor does he have to deal with Stephanie either. However, with Ambrose on Smackdown Live he has the chance to become WWE Champion just like everyone else on Team Blue but also he can truly become a much bigger star on the blue brand especially working for Angle and Shane.

- RAW with their 3rd pick in the 2nd round go with The Viper Randy Orton...I mean I wonder if with this pick if Kevin Owens his rival will end up on the same show as Orton? With Orton staying on RAW it makes sense given that the latter and early parts of his career were all spent right here on RAW and not to mention he first became a star on this show. Orton you can bet he is going to want to target that WWE Universal Championship especially now that he is here on RAW.

- Smackdown Live with their 3rd pick in their 2nd round go with Alexa Bliss...the former WWE Women's Champion you know what this means? Alexa Bliss doesn't get her rematch for the WWE Women's Championship especially since she is on Team Blue and AJ Lee the WWE Women's Champion is on RAW. However, I can see Angle and Shane creating a WWE Women's Championship for Smackdown Live and if that happens Alexa Bliss could potentially become WWE Smackdown Women's Champion.

- First NXT pick here in the 2nd round going to RAW and it is none other than former NXT Women's Champion Emma...with Emma on Team Red this means she has been separated from her Iconic teammates Billie Kay & Peyton Royce but with Emma on RAW now she can basically target the WWE Women's Champion AJ Lee especially now that she is officially Team Red. I wonder which brand Billie Kay and Peyton Royce end up on? If they end up on Smackdown Live then they can truly make it their division but you never know they could end up on RAW.

- First NXT pick for Smackdown Live in the 2nd round is none other than former NXT Champion and the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion Tyler Breeze...Breeze going to Smackdown Live if anything I think Team Blue is a great fit for Breeze and why I say that? Because on RAW he would be overshadowed by Finn Balor but on RAW he wouldn't get as many opportunities. However, on Team Blue he will have more opportunities to be a star.

- 2nd match here on the Draft special sees WWE Tag Team Champions and the newest members of the RAW brand that being the Wyatt Tribe...Bray Wyatt and Pentagon the WWE Tag Team Champions beating The Alpha Wolves who are former WWE Tag Team Champions in their own right beating Eddie Edwards & Davey Richards who are no slouches themselves but after this win I say again who can stop The Wyatt Tribe? Can anyone stop them in the Tag Team division here on RAW? I mean only time can tell right?

- RAW with their 1st pick in the 3rd round draft all 3 members of The New Day...that is quite a pick up for RAW but at the same time it guarantees that The New Day will get their rematch for the WWE Tag Team Championships facing The Wyatt Tribe and after what the Wyatts did to Xavier Woods after what Pentagon did snapping Woods'arm their feud being so personal already continues and I am glad that it will

- Smackdown Live with their 1st pick in the 3rd round draft Miz and Maryse...this means Miz doesn't get his rematch for the WWE United States Championship especially now that he is on Team Blue and Bryan being the new champion is over on RAW. Miz now I can see him setting his sights on the WWE Intercontinental Championship or even better he sets his eyes on the vacant WWE Championship especially now that it is vacant and Miz is a former WWE Champion in this diary as well.

- RAW with their 2nd pick in the 3rd round draft Seth Rollins...Triple H's protege...I mean of course Rollins was going to end up on RAW and now that he is that means he and Ambrose are officially done with each other because they are on separate brands now with Rollins on RAW and Ambrose on Smackdown it is obvious that Rollins is being groomed by both Stephanie and Triple H. Rollins however now that he is on Team Red I can see him setting his sights on the WWE Universal Championship as well as other superstars on RAW who have been drafted.

- Smackdown Live with their 2nd pick in the 3rd round draft Samoa Joe...Samoa Joe being one of the resident monsters here in WWE and now that he is on Team Blue he has a chance to become WWE Champion especially since that title is vacant. However, with Joe on Team Blue think of the eventual programs he could have being a member of the blue brand. Plus with Joe's history with Smackdown GM Kurt Angle with them going all the way back to TNA it would only make sense that Joe end up on Smackdown Live as opposed to being on RAW.

- RAW with their 3rd pick in the 3rd round draft Kevin Owens...Owens on his way to RAW this means he and Orton are on the same show. This means that that rivalry will no doubt continue especially now that Owens is here on RAW but with Owens being a part of RAW he can have eventual programs with stars like Styles, Bateman, Rollins, Wyatt, etc.

- Smackdown Live with their 3rd pick in the 3rd round go with Kaitlyn...now that Kaitlyn is officially a part of the Smackdown Live roster that means she can no longer challenge for that WWE Women's Championship that her former friend former rival AJ Lee currently has so I wonder if Kaitlyn will be a focal point in the new Women's Division over on Smackdown Live? If that happens I could see her going for the WWE Smackdown Women's Championship

- NXT pick here in the 3rd round for RAW ends up being none other than the tag team of Kazarian and Daniels The Addiction...stars in TNA stars in ROH and Japan and in NXT they basically carried that Tag Team division but now on RAW they have the chance to become WWE Tag Team Champions I mean who can realistically stop them?

- NXT pick here in the 3rd round for Smackdown Live ends up being none other than The Irish Lass Kicker Becky Lynch...with Becky on Team Blue this almost guarantees that she will no doubt go for that WWE Smackdown Women's Championship but think of the programs Becky could have in the Women's division?

- 3rd match here on the Draft special sees WWE United States Champion Daniel Bryan from RAW beating the free agent Bobby Roode to retain his WWE United States Championship...I mean with Bryan beating Miz who is now a member of the Smackdown Live roster back at Mania and now beating Roode here on Smackdown Live I wonder what kind of competition will Bryan receive on RAW now that he is a member of the RAW roster? Roode I am sure he probably doesn't even want that WWE United States Championship anyway hence why he didn't really try in that match because if he did he would have become champion because being WWE Universal Champion is what he probably wants more than he would want Bryan's title

- Punk now that he is officially a member of the Smackdown Live roster in his first act demands his rematch for the WWE Intercontinental Championship...well it makes sense given that both he and Cody are now a part of the same show and Punk obviously feels like he has unfinished business and he wants to finish it once and for all...but he gets Rhodes tonight here at the Draft in the main event with Rhodes' title on the line I wonder if Punk will become WWE Intercontinental Champion once again?

- 4th round...1st pick goes to RAW and with that pick they choose The Monster Among Men Braun Strowman that is possibly the biggest pick RAW could make in this draft and what a pick honestly. Strowman won the 1st ever Monster's Ball Match in WWE and he has been on a tear ever since coming to WWE in this diary. Strowman being the Monster Among Men it is only a matter of time before Strowman sets his sights on the WWE Universal Championship which means Bateman's days are numbered especially if Strowman decides to gun for Bateman's title.

- 4th round pick for Smackdown Live with their 1st pick they go with the collective tag team of Neville and Tyson Kidd...that makes sense given that Smackdown Live want to build up their Tag Team division but then why not draft The Wyatt Tribe to begin with? However, with Kidd and Neville both guys are former WWE United States Champions in their own right. Both men have basically been singles stars before this Brand extension and now that it has happened and both men have joined forces as a tag team they have been one of the most entertaining teams in WWE.

- 4th round pick for RAW with their 2nd pick...they go with the GM Dario Cueto's little brother Matanza Cueto as The Monster Matanza is drafted to RAW. Figures that the GM would draft his brother because he obviously didn't want his brother going over to Smackdown Live but since Matanza is on RAW now it is only a matter of time before Monster vs Monster...by that I mean a Strowman/Matanza program I mean it is inevitable and how ironic that the 2 monsters in WWE end up on the same show? Coincidence...I think not

- Smackdown Live with their 3rd pick in this 4th round go with The Lone Wolf Baron Corbin...one of WWE's resident monsters Corbin ever since he burst on to the scene he has been a beast and he is a former WWE Hardcore Champion too to boot. However, on Smackdown Live he has a chance to become WWE Intercontinental or even WWE Champion. Pretty much Corbin's future is looking bright right about now.

- RAW with their 3rd pick in this 4th round go with Sofia Cortez the WWE Hardcore Champion I mean now that the WWE Hardcore Championship is here on RAW now and she is the champion I wonder how much longer can she really hold that title for before someone tries to take it away from her?

- Smackdown Live with their 3rd pick in this 4th round go with Day One Ish...they go with The Usos of The Uso Penitentiary...that is quite a pick up for Team Blue especially considering their Tag Team division isn't looking so good right now and with The Usos there they can be a focal point of that division

- NXT pick here in the 4th round for Smackdown Live ends up being the team of Billie Kay and Peyton Royce...well they stay together on Smackdown Live but their former teammate Emma is on RAW but with Billie Kay and Peyton Royce both of these women have the opportunity to become WWE Smackdown Women's Champion but at the same time only one of them can be. I wonder if that won't create dissension between them? However, with them on Smackdown Live they have the opportunity to become stars in the Divas division for sure.

- NXT pick here in the 4th round for RAW ends up being The Boss Sasha Banks...with Sasha being on Team Red being a member of the RAW roster it is only a matter of time before we get Sasha Banks/AJ Lee for the WWE Women's Championship? For me that is a dream program as far as divas are concerned.

- Michael Bennett and his wife Maria getting drafted to RAW from NXT in the final round...with these 2 here on RAW I wonder if Bennett will set his sights on singles gold? By that I mean he won't just try to target Daniel Bryan specifically targeting Bryan's WWE United States Championship? With Maria back on RAW for the first time in years I wonder if we will see Maria mix it up with the other women here on RAW? By that I mean she won't just try to target AJ Lee targeting that WWE Women's Championship?

- Smackdown Live with their final NXT pick draft PMA...that is a good pick up well especially if they want to strengthen their Tag Team division especially on Team Blue and it looks like Team Blue has quite the Tag Team division over there on Smackdown Live

- Roman Reigns...The One Man Army The Big Dog is on RAW in the final round with the 2nd pick but this means Roman's feud with The Cuetos is pretty much set to continue especially with him being on the same show as Matanza and as the RAW GM Dario Cueto. However, with Roman Reigns being on RAW I wonder if he won't just set his sights on the WWE Universal Championship? Knowing Dario he will probably try to throw roadblocks in order to ensure that that doesn't happen.

- Antonio Cesaro & Kassius Ohno The Kings of Wrestling as a tag team go to Smackdown Live as the 3rd pick in this final round for Team Blue...if anything Cesaro & Ohno bring with them experience but also a unique brand of tag team wrestling but also with them on Team Blue they could become Smackdown Tag Team Champions I mean after all it could happen

- Chris Jericho and Christian...both former WWE and World Champions who have virtually done everything there is to do in this business are now members of the RAW roster as they are the 3rd pick in this 5th and final round for Team Red...they can go for the WWE Tag Team Championships here on RAW but also they can target either the WWE United States Championship or even the WWE Universal Championship well both of them could if they wanted to

- 4th pick in this 5th and final round for Team Red for RAW ends up being The Revival...RAW's Tag Team division if anything definitely is more superior to Smackdown Live's that's for sure especially with Dawson and Wilder here on RAW I wonder if DiBiase & Hennig Wrestling Royalty will somehow end up on RAW with The Revival?

- 4th pick here in this 5th and final round for Team Blue for Smackdown Live is The Celtic Warrior Sheamus...no one has seen or heard from Sheamus in months Sheamus has been on the shelf for quite a long time and now that he is back he goes to Smackdown Live...I wonder if and when Sheamus does come back if he will come back as a babyface? Or if he will be a heel if and when he comes back to the blue brand? Sheamus being a former WWE and World Heavyweight Champion a former King of the Ring a former WWE IC and US Champion in this diary I wonder who Sheamus' return program will be with?

- 5th and final pick for Team Blue here on the TV draft is none other than Allie...I love this...Allie no longer has to put up with Stephanie McMahon and Dario Cueto for bosses...who would have thought this? Shane and Angle taking Allie away from RAW and with her on Smackdown Live it is like she has a new lease on life...she doesn't even have to quit her job as Stephanie's assistant nor can she be fired because she is on Shane's show now...Shane just screwed and one upped his own sister Stephanie as well as Dario Cueto...this is great

- Main event sees Cody Rhodes the American Nightmare successfully retaining his WWE Intercontinental Championship beating CM Punk yet again first at Mania then here at the Draft special to walk out still WWE Intercontinental Champion I would have thought for sure that Rhodes would have lost the title and Punk would have won it right back but hey at least this gives Rhodes a potential new program with someone else and Punk can set his sights on once again becoming The Best in the World which means becoming WWE Champion

- Supplemental draft picks definitely nice pick ups for both brands especially seeing the list of stars still available I mean how about Brock Lesnar or even Batista?

- I wonder about the future of NXT because I wonder about superstars like Charlotte Flair, Shinsuke Nakamura, Bayley, Andrade Cien Almas, Aleister Black, Drew McIntyre, Jinder Mahal, Kyle O'Reilly, Tye Dillinger, Johnny Gargano, Tommasso Ciampa, The Authors of Pain w/Paul Ellering, etc.

As far as the Supplemental Draft:

Wrestling Royalty (DiBiase & Hennig) on RAW...they add much needed depth to RAW's tag team division but also are on the same show as The Revival so no doubt that that feud continues

Austin Aries on Smackdown Live with him on that brand he has much more opportunites vs being on RAW because if RAW had drafted Aries I don't think he would be as big a star and he would get lost in the shuffle on RAW...whereas on Smackdown Live he could become WWE Intercontinental Champion hell he could even be a main event level talent on Smackdown Live

Adam Cole and Lana together get drafted to RAW...I mean now that Cole is on RAW he can set his sights on the WWE Hardcore Championship a championship that he lost to Sofia Cortez of all people but think of the programs Adam Cole could have here on RAW

The Alpha Wolves being former WWE Tag Team Champions are now on Smackdown Live they add much needed depth to Smackdown's Tag Team division hell they add much more credibility to it just by being there

Rusev on RAW he can be a star again here on Team Red but also he can reignite his rivalry with Adam Cole given the whole issue of Lana but also Rusev on RAW he can have programs with other monsters giants here on RAW too

Bo Rotundo and Mojo Rawley also add depth to Smackdown's already growing Tag Team division

Enzo & Big Cass with these 2 here on RAW they can add depth to RAW's tag team division and Carmella with her here on RAW she can also add depth to the Women's Division especially here on RAW she can go for that WWE RAW Women's Championship

TJ Perkins...TJP with him on Smackdown Live he can go for the WWE Intercontinental Championship but then there is also the Cruiserweight Classic so I wonder if the Cruiserweight Championship will be exclusive to Smackdown Live?

R-Truth with him on RAW he can add depth to their midcard division

Zack Ryder with him on Smackdown Live he too can add depth to their midcard division

Broken Matt Hardy with him on RAW he can focus on becoming WWE Hardcore Champion once again but also with Broken Matt he can be the steal of this draft in the sense that he can become a main event level talent especially here on RAW

Shining Stars Primo and Epico on Smackdown Live they also add depth to the Tag Team division with SD Live's Tag Team division being just as deep as RAW's

Alicia Fox with her on RAW she is a veteran but also she is a former WWE Divas and Women's Champion so with her on RAW she adds depth to the division as well

As for Heath Slater going undrafted I wonder if this won't turn into a storyline for Heath Slater

Either way I can see Bobby Roode crashing this tournament and since he is a free agent he will probably say that Angle and Shane should just hand him the WWE Championship

But I can't wait to see the first Smackdown Live of this New Era of this Brand extension because I wanna see if Smackdown Live ends up with their own WWE Women's Championship and if they end up having their own WWE Tag Team Championship on their show

I loved how the draft came together, I'm also glad that the WWE Title is going to be exclusive to SMACKDOWN while the Universal Championship heads to RAW. And I agree with TG11's logic on Bobby Roode. Roode needs the WWE Championship. Angle and Shane already should hand Roode the WWE Championship. I also hope that Smackdown Live ends up having the SMACKDOWN Tag Team Titles and the Women's Championship as well. I'm very excited for the new first show with a new roster.

Also. Brock Lesnar. I'm very surprised that he didn't get himself drafted. I was hoping Lesnar would end up on RAW or either SMACKDOWN for that matter. Didn't turn out to be at all, so Brock may be a free agent and Stephanie and Dario and Shane and Kurt have to consider trading Brock for their show. If I was Brock. I would pick the show he was drafted in when the first draft lottery happened years ago in 2002 and that is RAW again. It's going to be interesting to see how this works.

April 14th, 2014 | Episode 001 |"Demon"

INTRO: When Monday Night RAW went live on the USA Network, the lights in the arena were dimmed with a faint shot of the new stage visible. A spotlight was placed onto a small office set up on the side of the stage, Dario Cueto walking out of it. “The day has finally come. Welcome to Dario Cueto’s Monday Night RAW!” The lights lit up the entire arena, the new stage finally being shown along with the commentary team of Mauro Ranallo and Corey Graves on the opposite end. That lead into the new show intro featuring ”Breaking Down the Walls” by Asking Alexandria. Afterwards, a new ring announcer, Greg Hamilton, announced that the opening contest was the Six Pack Challenge to determine the new number one contender for the Universal Championship.

MATCH: In one of the biggest matches in RAW history, six of the top contenders battled for an opportunity against Derrick Bateman at No Mercy. NXT Champion Finn Balor, who made his official main roster debut, caught the ire of Triple H after Dropkicking him off the ring apron to prevent him from aiding Seth Rollins. After Kevin Owens planted Daniel Bryan with a Pop Up Powerbomb onto Randy Orton, AJ Styles delivered the Phenomenal Forearm to him for the victory. After failing to retain the WWE Championship at WrestleMania, Styles now has the opportunity to capture the Universal Title in three weeks.

SEGMENT: Immediately after the Six Pack Challenge, the contract signing for the Universal Championship match at No Mercy took place. Dario Cueto brought AJ Styles into his office inside the small room connected to the side of the stage. When Styles walked in, Universal Champion Derrick Bateman was shown already sitting at Dario’s desk. Styles took a seat next to his opponent, the two locking eyes. Dario sat down across from them and handed the contact over to them, stating that he couldn’t think of a better Universal Title match for RAW’s first Pay-Per-View of ‘The New Era.’ Bateman reminded Styles of last week where he made it clear that being Universal Champion means that he is the WWE’s top star. Styles told Bateman that he could see how much WrestleMania meant to him. “While you overcame John Cena and Brock Lesnar, I couldn’t beat The Undertaker. My loss was just as meaningful to you as your victory was... so imagine how satisfying it’s going to be for me to take your Universal Championship away from you at No Mercy.” Styles signed the contract and stood up before throwing the paper at Bateman. The Universal Champion laughed to himself before signing the contact as well. He then took a shot at Styles, ‘The Phenomenal One’ retaliating with one of his own. The two traded strikes while Dario poured himself a glass of whiskey, the RAW General Manager enjoying the sight of a brawl. Styles and Bateman’s scuffle fell out of the office door, the two continuing to fight on the stage. No officials showed up to separate them, which was a call made by Dario. Styles ran towards Bateman, who lifted him over his head and into the air. Styles ended up landing on the roof of the office, leaping off of it with a Phenomenal Forearm! Styles stood over Bateman while raising the Universal Championship, sending a loud and clear message to the man he challenges at No Mercy.

SEGMENT: Backstage, RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon was shown watching the show in her office, a look of disgust on her face when Dario was shown in his own office with a smile on his face. Emma then walked into the room, looking over Stephanie’s shoulder at the TV screen. “So... Dario Cueto’s RAW?” Stephanie told Emma that ever since Dario allowed Allie to be drafted to SmackDown Live, she hasn’t been able to even be in the same room as him, which is why he set up his own office. “But don’t worry about Dario or how RAW is being run. Worry about Sasha Banks tonight because a shot at AJ Lee at No Mercy is on the line.” Emma said that while she does blame RAW, SmackDown Live and NXT management for separating her from Billie Kay and Peyton Royce, that doesn’t mean she won’t make the most of her new home. She’s not only going to beat Sasha tonight, but she’ll go on to become the first woman in history to have been both NXT and WWE Women’s Champion at No Mercy.

SEGMENT: Back in the arena, Heath Slater, who went undrafted last Thursday, ran into the ringside area through the audience, rushing up the stage to evade security. Slater barged into Dario Cueto’s office, begging him to be signed to the RAW roster. “Come on, Dario! How you gonna have Monday Night RAW without ‘The One Man Band,’ baby?!?” Dario was slightly indifferent to the idea of giving Slater an opportunity. “If Stephanie and I wanted you on RAW, we would have drafted you. However... I can’t take away your determination to become part of Dario Cueto’s RAW, so how about this? Go out to the ring and issue an open challenge. All you have to do is win and you’ll come back to my office to sign your new deal with RAW.” Slater thanked Dario for the opportunity before heading down to the ring to issue his open challenge.

MATCH: Heath Slater’s Challenge was accepted by Braun Strowman, who decimated him in a matter of seconds. While Slater’s journey on RAW will never commence, Strowman’s has and ‘The Monster Among Men’ will stop at nothing to make everyone on Monday nights feel his wrath.

SEGMENT: At this time, the new WWE Tag Team Champions The Wyatt Tribe headed down to the ring with a new entrance without a lantern leading the way. Debuting ”Too Far Gone” by Cane Hill as their new theme, the five-piece stable addressed their win last week, as well as The New Day’s rematch for the titles at No Mercy. Bray Wyatt said that while his story with Paige has reached its conclusion, this is only the beginning for his Tribe and himself. “It truly is a new day, but with no thanks to the trio of delinquents who failed to understand what it means to stand face-to-face with The Wyatt Tribe. Xavier Woods was the first to face reality. Then, Kofi Kingston and Big E relinquished their most prized possessions into our hands!” Wyatt said that No Mercy will be no different in terms of the result, but the fate of The New Day will see a grim turn that leads Kofi and Big E into the depths of hell along with Woods. “Pentagon, Maxine and myself will ensure that The New Day’s day of reckoning comes forth. But...” Wyatt said before turning to Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. “Your day... is here. Thank you for everything.” After Wyatt’s line, Pentagon struck Harper in his shoulder with the Tag Team Title! Wyatt rammed Rowan into a corner and started battering him while Pentagon continued to work over Harper, Maxine standing off to the side with a grin lighting up her face. Pentagon Irish Whipped Harper into the clutches of Wyatt, who planted him with Sister Abigail! Pentagon then locked Harper’s arm in place, reeling back to snap it! When Rowan tried crawling towards his fallen partner, Pentagon did the same to him! Wyatt took the microphone and said that if he was willing to do what he just did to two men he called his brothers, imagine what he and Pentagon will do to The New Day at No Mercy.

VIDEO: A special video package was shown for Emma and Sasha Banks’ upcoming match, featuring ”Ain’t It Fun” by Paramore. This rivalry began a year ago when Emma was in her first run as the NXT Women’s Champion. Sasha dethroned her at TakeOver in May, and shortly thereafter, Emma underwent surgery and remained inactive for the rest of 2013. In that time, Sasha rose to the top of the NXT women’s division and engaged in one of the brand’s most notable feuds with Bayley. After Sasha went on a hiatus at the end of 2013, Emma returned to NXT with a change in attitude and new friends, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce. Emma recaptured the NXT Women’s Title at TakeOver: R Evolution, only to lose it to Nicole Mathews when Sasha made her return. ‘The Boss’ believes that Emma’s success in recent months has only happened because she wasn’t around to stop her. The two bring their rivalry to Monday Night RAW with an opportunity to challenge AJ Lee at No Mercy for the WWE Women’s Championship on the line.

MATCH: In the official main roster debuts for both superstars, Emma forced Sasha Banks to submit to the Emma Lock in a grueling battle to end their rivalry. As Emma celebrated her victory, the theme music of AJ Lee sounded. The WWE Women’s Champion skipped around the ringside area while Emma watched in confusion. At No Mercy, Emma has the chance to become the first former NXT Women’s Champion to win the WWE Women’s Championship, but she’ll have to overcome the demented and emotionally-unstable title holder, AJ.

MATCH: Bobby Roode and Roman Reigns met in a rematch from last week, WWE’s only free agent looking to get his revenge against ‘The One Man Army.’ After Roode had his Glorious DDT countered into a Samoan Drop, Reigns slammed his fist onto the canvas to set up the Superman Punch. However, Matanza Cueto rushed down to the ring, pulling Reigns out underneath the bottom rope. The official called for the bell as Matanza and Reigns took their brawl into the ring. Reigns had his Superman Punch blocked, Matanza Clotheslining him over the top rope. As Reigns stirred to his feet on the outside, an enraged Roode struck Matanza in his back, ‘The Glorious One’ believing that he was screwed out of a victory even though he was on the verge of being defeated before Matanza interfered. Matanza turned around, hoisted Roode and brought him back down with the Wrath of the Gods. Reigns headed up the entrance ramp while staring down Matanza, Dario Cueto peaking through the blinds to the window of his office.

SEGMENT: Backstage, Cathy Kelley was shown standing outside of the locker room of Seth Rollins, hoping to get a word with ‘The Architect of the Future’ regarding his loss in the Six Pack Challenge earlier in the night. Instead of Rollins, Triple H exited the room, Cathy asking if he could speak on Rollins’ behalf. Triple H’ sole focus was on the fact that he was humiliated by NXT Champion Finn Balor, someone who Hunter believes should be grateful to him. “Maybe the WWE Universe doesn’t realize this, but without Triple H, there is no Finn Balor. Tonight, I’m going to stand in that ring, call out Finn and make him remember who’s been signing his paychecks for the last year.”

VIGNETTE: In the Draft last Thursday, Michael Bennett and Maria Kanellis officially became members of the RAW roster. Next week, ‘The Power of Love’ arrives on Monday nights when Bennett makes his in-ring debut.

SEGMENT: Wrestling Royalty headed down to the ring, the duo of Joe Hennig and Ted DiBiase stating that ever since the Draft, the WWE Universe has been asking for their thoughts on falling into the supplemental round. DiBiase said that the two of them believed it was warranted for them to be taken so low in the Draft. “We haven’t been ourselves. It’s been a year since we last held the WWE Tag Team Championships. Aside from ridding this company of The Committee, we’ve had only one mission and we failed. On top of that, we couldn’t even beat The Revival at WrestleMania. If anything, we’re lucky to have been drafted at all,” DiBiase said. The two were interrupted by The Revival, Scott Dawson telling them that maybe by this point, they’ve heard their message loud and clear. “There’s no place in the tag team division for you two anymore. You had your moment for an entire year when you were WWE Tag Team Champions. Now, Wrestling Royalty is old news and as soon as The Wyatt Tribe and The New Day settle their score at No Mercy, it’s ‘The Top Guys’’ turn to run this place,” Dash Wilder said. The scene became even more cluttered when Chris Jericho and Christian walked down the entrance ramp, ‘Captain Charisma’ believing that no discussion about who the top tag team on RAW is would be complete without the two of them. “Jericho and I formed this alliance for the sole purpose of getting rid of this ‘New Era’ trend that the WWE keeps spouting. Wrestling Royalty, The Revival are right when they say that you guys are told news, but Revival… we’re going to make sure that WrestleMania was as good as it’ll ever get for you both.” The three teams continued to bicker until The Addiction’s entrance music sounded, Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian debuting on the main roster after being drafted from NXT. “You gentlemen want to talk about becoming Tag Team Champions, but why try to exclude the only team in this title picture who actually have been champions in the past year? In case you’ve all been living under a rock, which is very plausible in the case of The Revival, The Addiction called the shots in NXT and established themselves as the best tag team in the bu-si-ness! So as far as we’re concerned, the only team who should be in the conversation for a Tag Team Title shot after No Mercy is standing right before you!” Daniels shouted. Jericho not only belittled The Addiction for interrupting them, but threatened to put Daniels and Kazarian on ‘The List.’ Before Jericho could click his pen, Daniels threw his Appletini into his face, The Addiction then brawling with Jericho and Christian. Wrestling Royalty and The Revival did the same, several officials arriving to quell the chaos per order of Stephanie McMahon. The tag team division on RAW heats up with The Addiction, The Revival, Wrestling Royalty, and Chris Jericho and Christian.

MATCH: In his rematch for the Hardcore Championship, Adam Cole was unable to overcome Sofia Cortez to regain his title. A miscommunication with Lana caused Cole’s downfall after Sofia planted the both of them with simultaneous Springboard DDTs. While Sofia celebrated with the championship post-match, Cole sat on the canvas while Lana attempted to console him. Cole refused to even look at Lana, leaving her alone in the ring.

SEGMENT: In the closing segment of RAW’s first post-Draft show, Triple H made his way down to the ring, undoing the top buttons on his dress shirt before taking a microphone. ‘The Game’ said that last week, no one was more proud of NXT’s inclusion in the Draft than he was. He’s spent the last two years of his life building up the brand to become the juggernaut that it is now, and one of the men responsible for NXT’s growth is Finn Balor. “That’s why it pains me to have to do this, but I’m not going to let anybody humiliate me in this ring, no matter who it is. Finn… you get your ass out here and stand face-to-face with your creator!” Seconds later, Balor’s theme music hit as the NXT Champion complied with Hunter’s order. Balor stepped into the ring, Triple H getting into his face. “Finn, don’t ever forget who it was that took a chance on you. When I was scouting the entire world for the best talent to make NXT into a global phenomenon, you were at the top of the list. I knew that I needed somebody like you if I wanted to take NXT to the next level. You did everything for the brand that I could’ve imagined, and then some. But I think I failed to teach you one of the most crucial things you can have in this business and that’s respect. Respect for those who paved the way for you. Earlier, you took a shot at me in this ring and tried to humiliate the man who has given you the keys to the castle that he built! That NXT Championship you walk around with so proudly? I’m the reason you have it! I’m the reason you were taken in the first round last week! Without me, there is no Finn Balor!” Balor snatched Hunter’s microphone out of his hand to tell him he was wrong. “You gave me the platform, Hunter. I can agree with that… but don’t think for one second that you created Finn Balor because you didn’t do anything! You know who created me?” Balor asked before looking around at the sea of fans in the arena. “They did! Balor Club is the reason I’m standing in the middle of the ring on Monday Night RAW! I thank you for the opportunity you granted me, Hunter, but don’t try to take credit for the ‘Demon’ that they created.” As Balor was speaking, he was ambushed from behind by Triple H’s protege, Seth Rollins. Rollins held Balor up as Hunter rolled up his sleeves, ‘The Game’ getting ready to extract revenge against Balor. However, Balor dodged the strike and Hunter inadvertently took out Rollins! Hunter turned around and ate a Pele Kick from Balor, who followed up by heading to the top rope for the Coup de Grace onto ‘The Game’! “Welcome to Monday Night RAW, Finn Balor!” Mauro Ranallo exclaimed while Balor stood tall in the ring over Triple H, the WWE Universe going wild for ‘The Demon’ as he takes his position as one of RAW’s new pillars.

April 16th, 2014 | Episode 001 | "The Next Phase"

MATCH: With the next set of tapings from Full Sail University scheduled for this weekend, tonight’s episode was an all-women’s outing with matches recorded at WrestleMania Axxess. Every match pitted new NXT superstars against one another, the first being Ember Moon against Taynara Conti. Becoming the youngest competitor in NXT history at 18 years old in this match, Taynara’s inexperience caught up to her when Ember delivered a maneuver known as The Eclipse that brought the entire audience to its feet. Ember covered Taynara to capture the win and the hearts of the NXT Universe members.

VIDEO: A special video package was shown to commemorate the debuts from this past Monday on RAW of Emma, Sasha Banks, The Addiction and the NXT Champion, Finn Balor. All made their marks on WWE’s flagship show in their own ways. Emma and Sasha competed in a Number One Contenders match that saw Emma earn the right to challenge AJ Lee at No Mercy for the WWE Women’s Championship; The Addiction threw their names into the mix of things for the WWE Tag Team Championships, engaging in physical combat with Chris Jericho and Christian; and while Balor wasn’t able to become the next challenger for the Universal Championship, he did cap off the evening with a Coup de Grace to Triple H.

MATCH: Moments after Ember Moon’s successful debut, Toni Storm looked to accomplish the same feat against one of the Tough Enough winners, Mandy Rose. Toni planted Mandy with the Air Raid Crash to pick up the victory, establishing herself as one of the new faces of the NXT women’s division.

ADVERTISEMENT: At a live event this Friday night in Atlanta, RAW superstar Finn Balor puts the NXT Championship on the line against the man who defeated Tye Dillinger at TakeOver: New Orleans to earn this opportunity, Kyle O’Reilly.

MATCH: In the main event, Nikki Cross, who had already made her first impression as a member of SAnitY at TakeOver: New Orleans, competed against Liv Morgan. After Liv picked up momentum, the rest of SAnitY made their way down to ringside. Eric Young, Tommaso Ciampa, Jimmy Havoc and Darby Allin each stood on a respective side of the ring, Nikki using the distraction to best Liv. Nikki finished off Liv with a Swinging Fisherman Neckbreaker, standing tall in the ring while SAnitY stood by her side. Not only will Nikki Cross undoubtedly change the complexion of the women’s division, but SAnitY as a whole will bring nothing but chaos and madness to NXT.

INTRO: A video package opened the inaugural edition of the Cruiserweight Classic, highlighting all 32 competitors in this historic tournament. Following that, the official intro featuring ”LOUD” by Motionless in White played before cutting to the Full Sail Arena that was painted purple instead of the usual NXT black and yellow colors. The commentary team of Mauro Ranallo and the United States Champion, Daniel Bryan, welcomed everyone to the first episode of the Cruiserweight Classic. Bryan stated that he was proud to have been a part of the scouting process along with NXT Commissioner William Regal, and he truly believes that the WWE has found the 32 best cruiserweights in the world to compete for an opportunity at glory. The two sent things over to Corey Graves, who analyzed the bracket for the tournament. He singled out the four matches taking place tonight, including the main event of a first time ever encounter between two of Canada’s finest talent over the last few years, Kenny Omega and Petey Williams. However, we kick things off with a contest pitting the United Kingdom against the United States.

MATCH: In the first contest of the entire Cruiserweight Classic, Mark Haskins forced Tony Nese to submit to a Bridging Fujiwara Armbar. Haskins, who was a replacement for Zack Sabre Jr. in this tournament, earned the admiration of the audience through his performance as he advances to the second round, where he will meet the winner of a battle between SAnitY members, Jimmy Havoc and Darby Allin.

MATCH: Bringing one of the most decorated resumes to the Cruiserweight Classic, Roderick Strong managed to put away Famous B (who handed out business cards to everyone in the front row with promises to “make them famous”) with his signature maneuver, The End of Heartache. “Roderick Strong is one of the toughest, most hard-hitting guys I’ve ever been in the ring with, and I don’t envy anyone who has to go through him to advance in this tournament,” Daniel Bryan said on commentary. Strong advances to the second round, where he will be waiting for either Johnny Gargano or Ariya Davari.

MATCH: Undoubtedly the most fun and uplifting personality of the evening, Jack Gallagher brought his gentlemanly flare to the Cruiserweight Classic, defeating Raul Mendoza with a running Corner Dropkick to his head. The next time Gallagher graces Full Sail with his presence, he’ll be competing against either King Cuerno or Ho Ho Lun.

MATCH: Finally, in the main event, Kenny Omega met Petey Williams in what many could consider a dream match between two Canadian talents. Omega hoisted Williams onto his shoulders for the One Winged Angel, but Williams countered it and planted ‘The Cleaner’ with the Canadian Destroyer! Omega, however, rolled out of the ring, kicking out by the time Williams was able to get the cover. The next time Williams attempted the Canadian Destroyer, Omega countered it with a sit-out Alabama Slam. After two V-Triggers and the One Winged Angel, Omega was able to put Williams away. ‘The Cleaner’ advances to the second round and will continue his journey against the winner of Gran Metalik vs. Alejandro Saez.

PROMO: Next week’s first round matches include Pete Dunne vs. Gurv Sihra; Cedric Alexander vs. Tyson Dux; Alex Shelley vs. Fabian Aichner; and in the main event, Jimmy Havoc vs. Darby Allin in a battle of SAnitY members.

INTRO: A video package began playing that showed SmackDown Live Commissioner and General Manager - Shane McMahon and Kurt Angle - standing in a dark room surrounded by television screens featuring the SmackDown roster. Shane stated that for over two decades now, Monday Night RAW has been able to enjoy the luxury of being the WWE’s flagship show... at least until now. “Tonight marks a new beginning in WWE because it’s time for Team Blue to take over.” Angle agreed with Shane, but mentioned that first, a new WWE Champion must be named to steer the ship. Quick flashes of the eight participants in the WWE Title tournament at Backlash were shown, the WWE Universe giving the biggest reactions to Dean Ambrose, Sami Zayn and Paige. “Not only that, Kurt, but SmackDown Live will be the home to the premier Tag Team division. Shots of teams such as The Usos, Tyson Kidd and Adrian Neville, Antonio Cesaro and Kassius Ohno, and PMA appeared. “And how about the Women’s division?” Shane asked, leading into clips of Alexa Bliss, Kaitlyn, Allie, Becky Lynch, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce. “It’s time, ladies and gentlemen, for everything in WWE as you know it to change. Welcome to the Land of Opportunity. Welcome to SmackDown Live.” What followed was the new intro featuring ”Play” by Marmozets before cutting to the Bridgestone Arena. The new stage with a flat, graphic-displaying ramp was shown before the commentary team of Rob Naylor and Nigel McGuinness welcomed everyone to the very first edition of SmackDown Live.

SEGMENT: Shane McMahon and Kurt Angle made their way down to the ring to officially kick off the “SmackDown Live Era” of WWE in front of the live audience in Nashville. The vacant WWE Championship sat at ringside on a podium, the graphic for the tournament at Backlash appearing. Before Shane and Angle could run down the card for tonight as they intended, the entrance music of The Miz sounded. ‘The Awesome One’ walked down to the ring along with Maryse, telling Shane and Angle that he shouldn’t be surprised they decided to take away the spotlight from their superstars on the first SmackDown Live. “I intended to come out here and kick off SmackDown Live with the most memorable edition of Miz TV in history, but as always, Shane McMahon and Kurt Angle needed to do things their way.” Miz then brought out the ring crew, who began setting up the squared circle for Miz TV. Shane and Angle backed against the ropes, allowing Miz the time that he requested.

SEGMENT: The Miz welcomed everybody to Miz TV, declaring this episode the biggest in history. One-by-one, he introduced his guests: the seven other participants in the WWE Championship tournament at Backlash. John Cena, Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes, Dean Ambrose and CM Punk all made their entrances first. Following them was the debuting Tyler Breeze, the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion bringing the selfie stick and his flamboyant nature to SmackDown for the first time. Breeze sat in a corner as if it was a hammock, the rest of the superstars in the ring clearly annoyed. Next out was Sami Zayn, who received one of the loudest ovations of the evening. The man who arguably built NXT into the juggernaut that it is now ska-danced his way to the ring, Shane and Angle applauding one of their first round picks. Zayn glanced at Breeze before looking over at the other tournament participants, seemingly realizing at that moment what he was in for come May 4th. If Zayn wants to become WWE Champion, superstars the caliber of Cena, Rhodes, Punk, Miz and Ambrose stand in his way. There was one more entrance to be made. That being the first overall pick for SmackDown Live in the Draft, and the woman who defeated Bray Wyatt in the main event of WrestleMania XXX. Paige’s new entrance theme, ”Mind Over Matter” by PVRIS played as the roof just about came off of the Bridgestone Arena. Paige made her entrance for the first time since her barbaric Hell in a Cell match, the ‘Anti-Diva’ looking almost as good as new. Paige stepped into the ring, the WWE Universe continuing to chant her name before Miz tried silencing them. “When my hand goes up, your mouth go shut!” Miz started off by saying that while Shane and Angle deserve some bit of credit for organizing one of the most star-studded tournaments in WWE history for the WWE Championship at Backlash, the process to find a new champion could have been sped up tenfold had they simply handed the championship over to the most-deserving member of SmackDown Live. “I mean, just look at my competition. Every single one of them is out of my league.” Paige stepped up to Miz, telling him that he can run his mouth all he wants to, but if he wants to become WWE Champion, he’ll have to go through her at some point at Backlash. Miz began laughing at the thought of Paige actually becoming WWE Champion, which prompted Rhodes to defend her. “She at least won at WrestleMania,” he said to Miz, which only infuriated him. The rest of the tournament participants got into it verbally before Breeze asked them all to be quiet since he needs complete silence for his selfies. The other superstars shouted, “Shut up!” in unison at him, which caused ‘Prince Pretty’ to join the argument. Angle took a microphone and said that if the eight tournament participants wanted to let out any frustrations before Backlash, they would have the chance to do so tonight. Paige and Rhodes’ match in the main event was already confirmed, so they needed to head to the locker room and get prepared. As for the rest, they’d be competing in a Six Man Tag Team match right now.

MATCH: In the first match of SmackDown Live, John Cena, Dean Ambrose and Sami Zayn overcame CM Punk, The Miz and Tyler Breezer after Zayn pinned Breeze following a Helluva Kick. Cena, Ambrose and Zayn stood tall in victory, but all three of them glanced over at the WWE Championship that they’ll be competing for in three weeks at Backlash.

SEGMENT: At this time, Bobby Roode made his way down to the ring, the only free agent in WWE gracing the Nashville audience with his ‘Glorious’ presence. Roode stated that when he won the Unique Opportunity Battle Royal at WrestleMania, he was promised more opportunities than anyone else on either RAW or SmackDown Live to succeed. “So imagine my surprise when I found out that I’m excluded from the tournament to crown a new WWE Champion.” Roode said that Shane McMahon and Kurt Angle informed him that they want their first WWE Champion to be somebody who is a permanent fixture on their roster. After Backlash, the door will be open for him to earn a title shot. “Shane and Kurt called that fair, but I call it disrespectful. It’s disrespectful to the man who scored the biggest victory of all-time at WrestleMania. Why am I being punished for winning the Unique Opportunity Battle…” Roode wasn’t able to finish as he saw Heath Slater trying to jump the barricade, security stopping him, Roode asked security to let Slater into the ring, ‘The One Man Band’ taking a microphone from ringside. “Well wouldn’t you look at that?! The only two free agents in WWE in the same ring at the same time, baby!” Slater shouted to a positive response from the audience. Roode tried to bring down Slater’s mood, telling him that there’s a clear difference between the two of them. “I’m a free agent because everybody wants me on their roster. You’re a free agent because nobody wants you on their roster.” Roode then said that the only reason he allowed security to let him into the ring is because he wanted to be the one to teach him a lesson about interrupting ‘The Glorious One.’ As Roode tried cornering Slater, Kurt Angle’s entrance music sounded as the SmackDown Live General Manager made his way out to the stage. Angle had a very similar stance on Slater to the one that Dario Cueto did on RAW a few days ago. He doesn’t condone Slater breaking and entering, but he can’t deny that ‘The One Man Band’ clearly wants to earn his spot on a roster. “So here’s what we’re going to do right now. You’re not dressed to compete, Heath, but now’s the only time you can have this opportunity. It’s going to be you against Bobby Roode, and if you win, consider yourself a member of the SmackDown Live roster.”

MATCH: When Bobby Roode was handing his robe over to the time keeper, Heath Slater rolled him up for a near-fall. The irate Roode rose to his feet and pulverized Slater for almost humiliating him. Roode was able to put Slater away with the Glorious DDT, ‘The One Man Band’ failing to earn a spot on a roster for the second time this week.

SEGMENT: Paige walked into the office of SmackDown Commissioner Shane McMahon, thanking him personally for entering her into the tournament at Backlash to crown a new WWE Champion. However, she wasn’t entirely sure why she was competing against Cody Rhodes tonight. “I was told something about the reasoning for the match, but I just wanted to hear it from you,” she said. Shane said that it was his decision to draft her first last week. “Kurt wasn’t on board with it entirely. He thought that Cody should have been the first pick. In a way, this match is for us to see who’s right and who’s wrong. But above all of that, this is a dream match for the WWE Universe. You and Cody have arguably been the two top superstars over the last year. This match has never happened before, and giving the fans memorable moments is what SmackDown Live is all about.” Paige understood where Shane was coming from when making that match. While she wasn’t expecting to be cleared so soon after WrestleMania, she’ll make the most of tonight’s main event and prove why she’s going to be the next WWE Champion.

SEGMENT: Alexa Bliss made her way down to the ring, ‘Little Miss Bliss’ addressing the live audience after being drafted as SmackDown Live’s first member of the Women’s division last week. Alexa stated that while she may not be the WWE Women’s Champion anymore, she’s going to build SmackDown’s Women’s division the way it should be. “And that’s with me at the mountaintop while the rest of the world looks up at me as your new ‘Goddess’ of WWE.” She then said that her Backlash opponent, Kaitlyn, isn’t even here tonight. “I don’t blame her, to be honest. Last week, I made it clear to her that this is my show. If she needs to be reminded of that, I will gladly do so at Backlash. Kaitlyn will forever say that she’s the reason for my success, well guess what? I’m the reason Kaitlyn is still relevant! And after I beat her at Backlash, she and her camo outfits that went out of style in 2012 are going right into obscurity where they belong. SmackDown Live is Alexa Bliss’ show, and there’s not a single woman on this roster who can say otherwise.” The confident ‘Goddess’ was then interrupted by the debuting Billie Kay and Peyton Royce. The two Iconic members walked down to the ring, holding hands before taking microphones. They introduced themselves to the WWE Universe and Alexa, asking her if she remembers them. “Don’t you remember when you came to us and Emma on your hands and knees, begging Iconic to join your WarGames team?” Peyton asked before she and Billie shared a laugh. “… No, not really. I just remember us losing because of my incompetent teammates,” Alexa responded. Billie told Alexa that she can claim SmackDown Live as her show all she wants, but sooner or later, she’ll find out that it’s not just Kaitlyn who is irrelevant. “You’ve had your moment at the top, Alexa. Now, it’s time for other superstars to take over the women’s division. Emma is doing her part on RAW, and over here on SmackDown Live, the most iconic duo in history will do theirs. And we aren’t afraid to turn a ‘Goddess’ into a peasant,” said Billie, who was patted on the back by Peyton for her statement. Alexa walking into Billie and Peyton’s arms, breaking apart their hand-holding before exiting the ring. ‘The Goddess’ told The Iconic Duo that she’ll deal with them when the time comes. Alexa headed up the entrance ramp at the same time that Becky Lynch’s music sounded. ‘The Irish Lass Kicker’ walked out onto the stage, she and Alexa coming face-to-face. Alexa continued on her way while Becky did the same, ready to take on Billie in the SmackDown Live in-ring debuts for the both of them.

MATCH: Becky Lynch and Billie Kay’s encounter ended in a disqualification when Peyton Royce disrupted the Disarmer. The Iconic Duo attacked Becky mercilessly until Allie made the save, the former assistant for Stephanie McMahon and Dario Cueto cleaning house of Billie and Peyton. Allie helped Becky to her feet while The Iconic Duo backed up the entrance ramp, the WWE Universe chanting Allie’s name nonstop. Becky then took a microphone and reminded Billie and Peyton of the announcement made last week by Shane McMahon. “I was told to choose only one of you to face… but since I’ve got backup now, I’ll see the both of you at Backlash.” Becky and Allie stood tall in the ring, the two now set to meet The Iconic Duo in a Tag Team match on May 4th in the Izod Center.

SEGMENT: Backstage, Renee Young was standing by with SmackDown Live’s newest tag team, PMA. Drake Younger and Solomon Crowe stepped into the frame, the two introducing themselves to the WWE Universe. Crowe promised that the two of them would bring pain, malice and agony to SmackDown Live before Younger insisted that PMA still stands for positive mental attitude. “… Whatever it stands for, we’ll soon stand on top of the SmackDown Tag Team division,” Crowe said before The Usos interrupted them. Jimmy and Jey said that even without the WWE Tag Team Titles, they had the entire division on lock. “And if you two circus freaks want to learn the hard way, step into the ring next week against the best team on SmackDown Live and be formally welcomed to the Uso Penitentiary.”

MATCH: In one of the most shocking upsets in SmackDown history, The Shining Stars defeated Tyson Kidd and Adrian Neville after Primo rolled up the latter with his feet on the bottom rope. Primo and Epico were ecstatic over their victory while Kidd and Neville stood in the center of the ring, visibly distraught. Nigel McGuinness left his seat at the announce table to get a post-match interview with Kidd and Neville to find out what went wrong here tonight. Kidd and Neville both glanced at one another, neither sure how to react. Neville then took the microphone and very faintly said, “Something… needs… to change.” Neville turned away from Kidd and left up the entrance ramp, the WWE Universe unsure exactly what he meant.

MATCH: Samoa Joe managed to defeat Antonio Cesaro in a grueling, hard-hitting encounter with a Muscle Buster. Following the match, Kassius Ohno helped Cesaro up to his feet as they both shook hands with Joe in a show of respect. Backstage, Baron Corbin was shown watching Joe’s celebration on a flat screen monitor, Renee Young approaching him to ask why he was focusing on ‘The Samoan Submission Machine’? “… Joe probably thought he got rid of me after Monster’s Ball. This isn’t over until I say it is,” said ‘The Lone Wolf’ before leaving the scene.

MATCH: In the first main event of SmackDown Live, Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes battled Paige for the first time ever. Paige was able to counter the Disaster Kick with a Superkick, trying to follow up with her Bicycle Knee that Rob Naylor dubbed ‘The Antithesis.’ Rhodes, however, caught Paige’s knee before it could connect. He threw a right hand in her direction, but Paige dodged it and rolled Rhodes into an inside cradle to get the win! “She got him! Paige beat Cody!” Naylor exclaimed as Paige backed against a corner before rising to her feet.

SEGMENT: As Paige and Cody Rhodes came face-to-face following their contest, Rhodes looked over Paige’s shoulder at the WWE Championship that was still sitting at ringside. Rhodes’ confidence and momentum heading into Backlash took a hit, but nonetheless, he knew that he lost to Paige fair and square. Rhodes extended his hand out to her, but he was blindsided by The Miz! Rhodes and Paige both fell to the canvas before Miz picked the Intercontinental Champion back up for a Skull Crushing Finale. After delivering it, Dean Ambrose got involved. Ambrose launched himself into Miz, striking him repeatedly. Tyler Breeze joined the chaos next and connected with the Beauty Shot onto Ambrose. Breeze stood tall for just a few seconds before Sami Zayn got a hold of him, planting the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion with the Blue Thunder Bomb. Zayn rose to his feet and was just about instantly turned around by CM Punk, who delivered a Roundhouse Kick. Punk turned around and saw John Cena running into the ring. Before they could engage in any physicality, Punk was leveled in the back with the WWE Championship from The Miz. Cena and Miz stood across from each other, Miz threatening to strike Cena with the gold if he tried making a move. Paige, however, Dropkicked Miz into Cena, who delivered an Attitude Adjustment. Cena and Paige were the only two superstars left standing, the WWE Universe making it clear who they supported. Cena picked up the WWE Title and raised it to a mixed reaction. Cena then placed the championship on the canvas, dividing a line between himself and Paige. ‘The Anti-Diva’ then grabbed the title that she vowed to claim, holding it up while the fans in Nashville cheered her on. “Yes!” chants broke out at the sight of Paige with the WWE Championship. She kept the title in her hand while staring down Cena as SmackDown Live came to a close.

April 21st, 2014 | Episode 002 |"It's All About Me"

SEGMENT: Triple H kicked off Monday Night RAW, addressing Finn Balor’s NXT Championship loss to Kyle O’Reilly in Atlanta last Friday and his involvement in it. ‘The Game’ said that when Balor physically assaulted him at the end of last week’s show, he knew exactly what he was doing. He was signing his death wish that will be carried out by his creator. Hunter said he knows that Balor will strike back because that’s the kind of competitor he is, but when he does do so, he won’t know what hit him. Hunter was then interrupted by the ‘Demon’ version of Balor’s entrance music, the fans in Baltimore erupting. A mysterious figured crawled onto the stage amidst the smoke, soon revealing ‘The Demon’… except it was just Seth Rollins. Hunter began laughing in the ring while Rollins mocked Balor’s ‘Demon’ entrance, arm raises included. Rollins crawled around the canvas while Triple H continued to speak, asking the WWE Universe if they really think he’s afraid of someone like Balor, who dresses up as a ‘Demon’ and thinks that puts him on the same level as a ‘King’? “This is exactly what I think of Finn Balor. He’s a joke. I gave him everything he ever wanted, and in return, he made a fool out of himself, but most of all, he made a fool out of me.” Finally, Hunter and Rollins were cut off by the real Finn Balor, who walked down to the ring without the NXT Championship. Balor stood across from Hunter and Rollins, telling the two of them that if they wanted to get even, then congratulations. “You both took something that meant the world to me. I wasn’t trying to humiliate either one of you last Monday, but now, I am.” Balor stood up to Hunter, Rollins putting himself in front of the latter. Balor laughed to himself before saying that he forgot that Rollins is the one he needs to go through first. “Wherever Triple H is, Seth Rollins isn’t too far behind. You’re pretty much his new Stephanie.” The infuriated Hunter knew that Balor was only trying to get under skin, vowing that it wouldn’t work. “You want revenge, Finn? Then how about this. At No Mercy, you step into this ring one-on-one with Seth Rollins and find out for yourself why you’re not as good as you and the WWE Universe think you are.” Hunter and Rollins left the ring after the confrontation for No Mercy was made official. ‘The Demon’ vs. ‘The Architect’ on May 3rd in the Izod Center.

MATCH: ‘The Power of Love’ arrived on RAW as Michael Bennett made his in-ring debut against the United States Champion, Daniel Bryan. As Bryan was preparing for the Busaiku Knee, Maria Kanellis stepped onto the ring apron and tried to gouge his eyes out. The ref called for the bell as Bennett assaulted Bryan, finishing him off with a Samoan Driver. Maria handed her husband the United States Title, telling him it’s what he deserves. Bennett glared at the gold before throwing it onto Bryan’s chest.

SEGMENT: Backstage, RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon was shown in her office with four teams: Wrestling Royalty, The Revival, The Addiction, and Chris Jericho and Christian. Stephanie announced a Fatal Four Way Number One Contenders match at No Mercy with the winners getting the first shot at the WWE Tag Team Championships against either The Wyatt Tribe or The New Day after May 3rd. Over the next two weeks, the Four Way will be previewed through two matches. Next week, The Revival meet Wrestling Royalty in a WrestleMania Kickoff rematch, but tonight, The Addiction make their official RAW debuts against Jericho and Christian.

MATCH: Enzo Amore, Big Cass and Carmella headed down to the ring, ‘The Realest Guy in the Room’ not knowing his opponent ahead of time. When Braun Strowman’s entrance music sounded, Enzo actually took on a position the WWE Universe had never seen from him before: speechless. Strowman ran through Enzo, delivering two Running Powerslams before covering him for the victory. Post-match, Strowman decided to attempt another Powerslam, only for Cass to intervene. The two behemoths stared down in the ring, Strowman throwing Enzo into Cass’ arms before leaving the ring, deciding that he was bored of punishing Enzo, and that Cass wasn’t worthy of his time.

SEGMENT: Backstage, Cathy Kelley was standing by with the Hardcore Champion, Sofia Cortez. Sofia stepped into the scene, Cathy asking where she plans on going next as the Hardcore Champion now that her rivalry with Adam Cole seems to have ended abruptly. Sofia stated that she’ll go wherever she needs to as champion. “I’m out to prove that the Hardcore Title and I deserved to be drafted much higher than the fourth round. WrestleMania didn’t go my way, but this is a new beginning for me. Sofia Cortez is going to own RAW…” Sofia looked off into the distance, the camera soon panning out to reveal Sasha Banks. ‘The Boss’ glanced at the Hardcore Title, tapping it with her knuckles before smirking at Sofia.

MATCH: Matt Hardy’s ‘Broken Brilliance’ took a hit when Randy Orton put him down with an RKO. Orton took a microphone and called out Kevin Owens, who came out to the stage, but only to remind ‘The Viper’ that was defeated at WrestleMania. “I already beat you, Randy. This whole thing between us is over. You’re never getting your win back, so for once in your career, don’t be a sore loser. Take your loss like a man and figure out where you go from here because I’m on my way to the top of Monday Night…” Owens was then cut off by RAW General Manager Dario Cueto, who emerged from his office on the side of the stage. Dario said that while he does agree with Owens’ point about Orton losing, who is he to deny somebody the opportunity to get revenge? “So, here’s what we’re going to do. Kevin Owens, sorry to break it to you, but you will have a rematch against Randy Orton in two weeks at No Mercy. However… let’s make this match a bit more interesting. I very much enjoyed watching you both compete at WrestleMania, but at No Mercy, I want to see you two fight. That’s why I am making this match No Holds Barred!”

SEGMENT: In the ring, RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon was shown with a table in front of her for WWE Women’s Championship match contract signing. Stephanie stated that since she couldn’t trust Dario Cueto to oversee another contract signing after what happened last week, she decided to take the reigns of this one herself. She brought out the two participants in the title match at No Mercy, challenger Emma and champion AJ Lee. The two women sat across from each other, AJ positioned cross-legged in her chair. Emma took a microphone and said that while women like AJ, Paige and Alexa Bliss have taken credit for the success of the women’s division over the last year, people need to recognize where the revolution really started. “It wasn’t in a Last Diva Standing match. It was in NXT when I was putting on the best performances each and every night, defending my NXT Women’s Championship. I put this division on the map. You girls tried throwing it off the map by changing the meaning of being a female in professional wrestling. That title that you proudly show off, it’s about competition. Not how badly you can mutilate yourself. It’s about time that a real athlete took control of this division, and that’s exactly what will happen at No Mercy. The women’s division is finally going to be all about me.” After Emma signed the contract, she pushed it towards AJ, who stared down at it. ‘The Black Widow’ took the pen and, presumably, wrote down her name, Stephanie announcing that the title match was now official. Just after she said that, AJ moved the table out of the way and stood before Emma on her knees. AJ slowly crawled towards her No Mercy challenge, grabbing onto her knees. “What… the…” Corey Graves uttered as AJ glanced up at Emma, never taking her eyes off of her. Emma was visibly uncomfortable, and soon backed away when AJ actually pulled her legs open. Emma’s response was to kick AJ in the face before picking her up and throwing her onto the table. Emma struck away with right hand shots onto AJ, shouting, “You don’t scare me!” into her face. Officials quickly arrived to restrain Emma, carrying the number one contender up the stage. In the ring, Stephanie had a look of shock on her face, not believing that it wasn’t just Dario whose first contract signing on RAW went awry. AJ then began laughing maniacally while lying with her back on the table, turning her head over to Emma while licking her lips. "It's all about you," AJ mouthed to Emma from a distance. Is AJ just trying to get into Emma’s head, or is there something deeper within this story that the WWE Universe is unaware of?

MATCH: In their first match as members of the RAW roster, The Addiction bested Chris Jericho and Christian after the latter fell victim to the Celebrity Rehab tag team maneuver. Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian celebrated their victory with the Baltimore audience that seemingly backed them, ‘The Best Tag Team in the Bu-Si-Ness’ picking up the momentum on their way to the Fatal Four Way number one contenders match at No Mercy.

SEGMENT: Bobby Roode walked into the office of Dario Cueto, demanding that he receive a one-on-one match with Matanza Cueto. “You can’t protect your baby brother from reality, Dario. Matanza needs to learn that when you pick a fight with ‘The Glorious One,’ you have every right to be battered and brutalized.” Dario sat back in his chair, pressing his fingers against each other while thinking about the potential of a Roode/Matanza encounter. At that moment, Roman Reigns stepped into the room, demanding the same thing that Roode did. “I know you’re not exactly the brightest of the bunch, Roman, but ‘The Glorious One’ is speaking! The hottest free agent in professional wrestling is in your presence and you’re just going to ignore him?!” Roode yelled out, which prompted Reigns to grab him by the collar of his dress shirt. “Actually, there’s no need for the physicality. It’s going to be a Triple Threat match at No Mercy.” Dario then pressed a button underneath his desk, which resulted in security arriving. “As you both know by now, Matanza has a match tonight against AJ Styles. This is the biggest singles bout of his career and I won’t have either of you ruin it. So, if you don’t mind, these gentlemen are going to escort you both out of my arena.”

MATCH: Kofi Kingston and Big E made short work of a pair of local competitors before the two New Day members addressed the WWE Universe for the first time since losing the Tag Team Championships two weeks ago. Kingston stated that while Xavier Woods recovers from having his arm broken, he and Big E have been pushed to the point where they need to take The New Day into a new direction. “As much as we enjoy coming out here and putting smiles on everyone’s faces, the time for fun and games is over. It’s been over since the second that Bray Wyatt and Pentagon put their hands on our brother,” Kingston said. Big E added on, telling The Wyatt Tribe that The New Day isn’t afraid of them. “Maybe you three should telling yourselves ‘Cero Miedo’ because the more and more you say it, maybe you’ll start to believe that you really have no fear of what The New Day is going to do you at No Mercy. This isn’t the same unit you asswipes beat for the Tag Team Titles. This is a unit that is focused and ready to extract our revenge, avenge our fallen brother and take back what is ours! Because…” Big E and Kingston allowed the WWE Universe to chant “New Day rocks,” but they stayed out of it for once.

SEGMENT: In the trainer’s room, United States Champion Daniel Bryan was shown having an ice pack applied to the back of his neck after he was assaulted by Michael Bennett and Maria Kanellis. RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon walked into the room, asking Bryan what he planned on doing about feeling the wrath of ‘The Power of Love’? Bryan told Stephanie that he wants a rematch with Bennett at No Mercy, and just to make sure the challenge gets accepted, he’ll put the United States Title on the line.

SEGMENT: Adam Cole and Lana walked to the ring, the latter not exactly sure what was happening. Cole took a microphone and told Lana that he knows she was left in the dark after RAW last week, the footage replaying of Cole leaving her alone in the ring after his loss to Sofia Cortez. Cole apologized to Lana, saying that of all his accomplishments over the last year, she’s at the top of the list. “We’ve only been together for about six months now, but it feels like I’ve known you forever.” Cole continued to romance Lana before getting to one knee, taking a small box out of his pocket. “My God, Adam. Don’t do it! You have your whole life ahead of you!” Corey Graves screamed into his headset, Mauro Ranallo asking, “Aren’t you married?” Lana began crying, she and the rest of the world assuming that Cole was about to propose to her. Cole then opened the box, revealing it to be empty. “… It’s… It’s nothing,” Lana said before Cole responded with, “Just like you.” Cole then stood up and Superkicked her! Cole stood over the unconscious, letting out a massive, “Adam Cole, bay bay!” into her face before exiting the ring.

SEGMENT: Prior to the start of the main event, Heath Slater once again ran into the ringside area through the audience. This time, he took a microphone before handcuffing himself to the ring post. “It’s not over until I say it is, baby! ‘The One Man Band’ is going to get a contract one way or another! You people don’t understand! I got kids at home, man! I need this job!” Slater shouted, trying to hold up the entire show with his antics. When the entrance music of Matanza Cueto sounded, Slater tried to free himself from his own imprisonment, remembering that he threw away the key on his way to ringside. Matanza slowly approached Slater, who tried pleading with ‘The Monster’ to spare him, just like he did against Braun Strowman last week. Matanza ripped apart the chain to the handcuffs, but didn’t let Slater escape. Matanza planted him onto the floor with The Wrath of the Gods before entering the squared circle. Security soon arrived to carry Slater’s motionless carcass out of the arena, Matanza getting set for the biggest singles match of his career.

MATCH: For the first time ever, AJ Styles did battle with Matanza Cueto. Styles managed to hold his own, giving Matanza his most competitor match to date. The number one contender for the Universal Championship had ‘The Monster’ right where he wanted him, sizing him up for the Phenomenal Forearm. Styles leaped off the top rope, but Matanza caught him for a Bearhug. Matanza squeezed the life out of Styles, further injuring his back that took immense damage at WrestleMania against The Undertaker. As Styles was fading out, Matanza threw his body into the air, catching him for The Wrath of the Gods! Matanza picked Styles up for the maneuver three more times before the official ordered the match to be stopped. Matanza was declared the winner, ‘The Monster’ having his arm raised while standing over ‘The Phenomenal One.’ As Matanza exited the ring, Universal Champion Derrick Bateman made his entrance. Bateman walked pass Matanza, the two staring down for a bit before Bateman nodded his head at ‘The Monster’ in approval. That lead to Maruo Ranallo speculating that a deal was in place between the two. “Matanza never intended on winning this match. He just wanted to brutalize AJ Styles and let Derrick Bateman pick up the pieces.” Styles staggered to his feet, only to be struck in the face with the Universal Championships. Bateman raised the gold while standing over Styles’ carcass, ‘The God of the New Era’ one-upping his opponent at No Mercy in two weeks.

April 23rd, 2014 | Episode 002 | "Question of SAnitY"

INTRO: After the signature WWE intro, NXT General Manager Portia Perez made a few announcements from her office to address the current state of NXT post-Draft. Portia announced that tonight, Ricochet and Uhaa Nation will invoke their rematch clause for the NXT Tag Team Championships against Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre. Also, Nicole Matthews' challenger for the NXT Women's Title at TakeOver: Chicago will be influenced by a series of matches over the next few weeks. Nicole will be going one-on-one with the three superstars who impressed the most at WrestleMania Axxess: Ember Moon, Toni Storm and Nikki Cross. Finally, as the world knows by now, Kyle O'Reilly captured the NXT Championship at a live event last week in Atlanta. O'Reilly will have his first defense in Chicago on Money in the Bank weekend, and the number one contender will be decided in a series of qualifying matches to advance to a Fatal Four Way on May 28th. After Portia's address, a brand new intro video featuring "Vice Grip" by Parkway Drive played. The NXT Universe roared in Full Sail for the next phase of the brand as part of 'The New Era.' A new commentary team of Tom Phillips and Michael Schiavello welcomed everyone to NXT.

SEGMENT: As JoJo began announcing the opening contest, Heath Slater ran into the ring through the audience, taking her microphone away from her. Slater received a warm welcoming from the crowd and said that because he's currently a free agent, he decided to branch out of just showing up on RAW and SmackDown Live to see if NXT is where 'The One Man Band' belongs. Slater asked Full Sail if they want to see him in NXT, the fans responding positively. Soon, he was interrupted by the new NXT Tag Team Champions, Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre. "You see that, NXT Universe?! The band is back together, baby!" Slater shouted as he went in for a group hug, Mahal and McIntyre shoving him away. Mahal said that he and McIntyre had been waiting for the moment where they could make it clear to Slater what he had done to them. "You turned us into fools. You tried to ruin our careers. 3MB was nothing more than a joke that could have killed every bit of hard work Drew and I have put in over the last few year," Mahal said, McIntyre adding that it's no coincidence that in their first championship match post-3MB, they succeeded. "We never needed you, and neither does the WWE. You're not a free agent. You're an unemployed bum who happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time," McIntyre said. Before Mahal and McIntyre could attack Slater, Ricochet and Uhaa Nation hit the ring to make the save. The champions retreated while Ricochet and Uhaa stood their ground in the ring, Slater trying to celebrate with them before he was taken out of the arena by security.

MATCH: For the first time in over two years, John Morrison competed under the WWE banner. 'The Shaman of Sexy' made his first mark in NXT with a victory over Murphy. "'The Wednesday Night Delight' is back with a chip on his shoulder, and championship gold to capture in his shot at redemption," Michael Schiavello said while Morrison posed on the second rope.

ADVERTISEMENT: Next week, new NXT Champion Kyle O'Reilly will speak to the NXT Universe for the first time since defeating Finn Balor in Atlanta to capture the gold.

SEGMENT: Backstage, Dasha Fuentes was standing by with Paul Heyman, who revealed that following NXT TakeOver: New Orleans and his run-in with The Wyatt Tribe, Hideo Itami underwent surgery last week and will be kept out of action for a number of months. Between that and the news that Brock Lesnar will be taking a hiatus, he is left without a client. "At least, that's what everyone assumed. Because people think it's common knowledge that without Brock Lesnar and Hideo Itami, I have no reason to stick around. Understand that when one door closes, another opens. This is not the end of Paul Heyman in NXT... but it is the end for the entire roster once my brand new client makes his presence felt."

MATCH: Matt Riddle returned to the Full Sail Arena after winning his Royal Rumble qualifier back in January, this time as a full-time member of the NXT roster. 'The King of Bros' was able to put away Danny Burch after trapping him in the Bromission. Riddle had the backing of some NXT Universe members, but the majority were hesitant to give the Tough Enough winner a chance, despite his impressive outing for someone with very little wrestling experience at this point.

SEGMENT: A never before seen interview that Cathy Kelley conducted with Kenny Omega after his match at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans aired at this time. Omega said that many people had the misconception that he took on Tyler Breeze to defend both New Japan and his... "good acquaintance" Kota Ibushi. "I didn't do this for New Japan. I didn't do this for Ibushi. This was all for myself because what better time to steal the spotlight for myself than on WrestleMania weekend?" Omega then said that Kazuchika Okada was in a similar spot a few months back at TakeOver, but as soon as he left the United States, he was a goner and wouldn't ever be seen again in NXT. "I, for one, don't have that in my plans." When Cathy asked Omega if that meant he was going to sign with NXT, 'The Cleaner' said he didn't have to. "You don't think that NXT would bend over backwards for someone like me? I don't need to sign a contract with anybody. I do things my way and on my terms. And my terms are this: I am going to win the Cruiserweight Classic and enjoy whatever luxuries may come with that. At the same time, I will be back in NXT very soon and corporate is just going to have to get used to the fact that their new top star isn't even theirs. Kenny Omega doesn't belong to anyone or anything."

MATCH: In the main event, Ricochet and Uhaa Nation received their rematch for the NXT Tag Team Championships against Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre. After a back-and-forth contest, Ricochet attempted a Suicide Dive, but was caught with a Claymore Kick before he could execute it! Being the legal man, Mahal picked Ricochet up for the Khallas, spiking him onto the back of his head to get the victory. After Mahal and McIntyre exited with their championship reign still intact, Ricochet and Uhaa were left in the ring to wonder what was next for them. They failed to regain the Tag Team Titles. They declined an offer to enter the WWE Draft. They weren't sure where they were headed, but knew that the NXT Universe would support them every step of the way. However, not everyone was backing them. The entrance music of SAnitY sounded as the faction of Eric Young, Nikki Cross, Tommaso Ciampa, Jimmy Havoc and Darby Allin circled the ring. Repeating the scene from New Orleans, SAnitY laid out Ricochet and Uhaa, standing tall over them yet again. Tom Phillips' closing words perfectly put the impact that the group can have on the brand going forward. "Maybe it isn't Kyle O'Reilly, or Nicole Matthews, or Kenny Omega who will carry NXT in 'The New Era.' Perhaps we're looking at the new gatekeepers of NXT in the form of SAnitY."

April 23rd, 2014 | Episode 002 | "Hell and Havoc"

MATCH: Night two of the first round kicked off with Gurv Sihra of The Bollywood Boyz taking on 'The Bruiserweight' Pete Dunne. Despite being the last participant to quality for the Cruiserweight Classic, Dunne proved why he should have been in consideration for the tournament long beforehand by putting Gurv down with The Bitter End. Dunne advances to the second round, where he will be taking on either Noam Dar or Gurv's brother, Harv Sihra.

MATCH: Cedric Alexander made his mark on the Cruiserweight Classic by defeating Tyson Dux with an emphatic maneuver, The Lumbar Check. Dux flew into the air after crashing down onto Alexander's knees, the Full Sail Arena quickly taking notice of the latter as one of the participants to look out for in the tournament. Alexander will now await the result of Kota Ibushi and Will Ospreay's encounter to find out his second round opponent.

MATCH: A long time coming for many fans as Alex Shelley competed in WWE for the first time. One-half of The Motor City Machine Guns overcame the very impressive Fabian Aichner with a Standing Sliced Bread to pick up the win and move on to the second round, where he will do battle with the winner of the contest between Mustafa Ali and Andrade 'Cien' Almas.

MATCH: In the main event, SAnitY members collided when Jimmy Havoc took on Darby Allin. Despite their partnership, Havoc and Allin took the fight to each other, both in and outside of the ring. Resembling a deathmatch brawl more than a Cruiserweight Classic contest, Allin brought out a table and placed Havoc on top of it. Allin leaped over the top rope, but Havoc moved out of the way! Allin crashed through the table, Havoc picking up the scraps by rolling him into the ring. Havoc caught Allin in the head with a Shining Wizard, covering him to advance in the tournament. Post-match, the remainder of SAnitY - Eric Young, Tommaso Ciampa and Nikki Cross - entered the ring, Havoc and Allin shaking hands as the villainous faction stood tall in the ring. "If one of them wins, they all win," Daniel Bryan said on commentary.

PROMO: Next week’s first round matches include Marty Scurll vs. Mike Bailey; Chris Sabin vs. Sean Maluta; Gran Metalik vs. Alejandro Saez; and in the main event, Andrade 'Cien' Almas vs. Mustafa Ali.
